Reviews of local pros in St Davids, Pennsylvania

I called Daniel at Stump Munchers regarding three stumps to be removed in my yard. He came the same day and removed all the stumps at a very reasonable price. He even removed some additional smaller stumps and did a few extra items at no additional charge. I highly recommend Stump Munchers.

Stump Munchers owner Daniel Murphy, came out last weekend and ground 2 huge stumps by our creek which had been left behind after the tress were knocked down during a storm. Daniel used his top of the line grinding machinery to remove the stumps and avoided the majority of the chips from going into the creek. We were highly impressed with his skill and thoroughness in clean up and the price was very competitive.

Daniel Murphy came to my house the same day I called in order to get our yard ready to put down sod the next day. He got rid of a very large stump and all of its roots in the front yard that were left after the previous owner only partially removed it. His price was competitive with other estimates I received. He was friendly and professional. I would hire him again.

I called Stump Munchers and they came out the next day for a stump and roots we needed removed. They were responsive, reliable, and quoted a fair price. I would definitely use them again.

Daniel is a class act. He really knows what he is going and uses top-of-the-line equipment to get perfect results. I called on a Monday, stumps were gone by Thursday and at a very reasonable and fair price. Hands down, Daniel Murphy is the only guy to call for tree work, period. As the owner of the company, he stands behind his work and is a complete professional. I highly recommend Stump Munchers.

Daniel was a pleasure to work with. Answered the phone every time I called. Talked me through the entire process. Did a fantastic job on the stump removal. Went above and beyond clearing out some bigger side roots. Would 100% recommend him and use him again.

Daniel did a great job and worked continually until I see a nice yard. His personality is great and determination to satisfy me as a customer tremendous. I highly recommend Sump Munchers for your stump removal needs.

Daniel and his team did an excellent job removing the stump. It was a very professional job. 24 hour turnaround time and Daniel called to confirm the job would be done that day. Within hours, the work was completed. We are extremely satisfied with their work.Thank you, Daniel! Highly recommended!

Fast reliable service! I called Dan to have a few tree stumps removed & he sent his crew out the very next day to get the job done. These guys are professional, courteous, & hardworking. I highly recommend Stump Munchers.

Daniel is a legend. I hired him to grind about 15-20 stumps at my house and I was happy everything. Very fair price and he really takes his time to ensure that he grinds down every stump thoroughly. He also cut down a small tree for free because he was concerned it was a safety hazard!

Just used their service. Daniel was helpful getting a reasonably priced quote asap and within a few hours after agreeing to proceed, Aaron did a great job. Highly recommend

Stump Munchers came in, crushed it—literally. Super easy to work with, professional, and fast. They obliterated my stumps like they owed them money. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Job and Dan Works Fast! 5 Stars!!
We recently bought a home and had 14 trees removed. We called around for stump grinding services and Dan came in at the best price with the best review, in the fasted time-frame. I was worried as some of the stumps were really close to the house and near rocks, but Dan took care of it with no problem at all. Even taking the time to cover our newly painted concrete with a tarp, so as to ensure it wouldn't be damaged. Dan was on time, worked fast and clean, ultimately doing a really wonderful job. Even after he left, I noticed I forgot a stump, and he turned around to come back and grind that one, for no charge. We have a lot of trees on our property to maintain and will absolutely be calling him again. My husband and I highly recommend him.

I called Stump Munchers for an estimate. Dan came to my house within 2 hours, quoted me a very good price, and then to my surprise did the job the same day! He even took out some other bush stumps I had not even thought of. All for the same price. Dan is extremely competent and energetic. He works quickly and efficiently. It was exciting to watch him maneuver his big stump grinding machine to some very challenging places on our property. I would highly recommend Stump Munchers to my friends and family.

I had a stump removed in the middle July 2022. They were there when scheduled and appeared to do a great job. By the time I got around to cleaning up all the wood chips I discovered that they missed a sizable portion of the stump. The original pile of wood chips was very large so I can understand why some of the roots were missed. When I contacted Dan he was very receptive to my concerns and put me on his schedule to take care of the problem. They came back and did a fine job removing the remaining roots. I would highly recommend Stump Munchers to anyone in the future. Very professional and reliable. They also gave a very good price compared to other estimates

Dan did a great job! Excellent customer service. Just the best.

I called Dan one day and the very next he came out! Did a great job and I would highly recommend using stumpmunchers for any tree care needs. Excellent pricing and Dan knocked out over 70 large stumps in about three hours. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks for all your hard work, the yard looks amazing!

We had two trees removed and three stumps ground. Daniel did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with.

I called Dan in the morning and he showed up that same day. I had 13+ stumps to be removed to prepare for a new fence. He was done in no time. Price was a great deal and he also was able to help out a neighbor with their stumps. I appreciated advice he gave me about future plans with the space as well as contacts he provided. He made sure I was satisfied with the work when he was done. I highly recommend Dan.

Daniel was fantastic to deal with. Answered the phone immediately, looks at pics you text, and quotes you a fair price right then. Fast next day service. Cleans up all the mess. Best of all, he accepts Venmo! 5 stars!

Dan and his team did an excellent job removing several trees and stumps from our yard - they really went above and beyond to make the process as painless as possible. They even reunited some baby squirrels that were unexpectedly in one of the trees with their mama! Everyone was a pleasure to work with and we got great service for a great value.
