Very quick response to my AC problem. Service provider out there very next morning. Problem and resolution explained in an easy to understand way. Total time from start to finish less than a half hour. I received estimates, updates and in person communication.

We just had Family Heating & Air Conditioning install a new Trane central gas furnace and AC unit to replace our 15 year old York units. Our old York furnace failed due to gas valve and pressure switch failing. Brew came out initially to troubleshoot and provided a quote to repair the furnace. Due to the age of the units and the cost of repairs, we decided to replace them both instead of repairing. Brew gave us a competitive quote to replace both. After deciding to go forward, the finalization of the contract, payment and scheduling was handled immediately and efficiently by the office.
Installation was scheduled to begin between 9 and 10 am the next morning. Chris and Josh were the installation team and they were great. I received a text at 8:15am notifying that they were on the way and they arrived at 9am. They were both very friendly, professional and thorough. They answered all our questions and explained what would be done beforehand. They also consulted on options for running the condensation drain line and the solution was perfect. Everything went very smoothly and the old units were removed and disposed of after completion. The new furnace is now working very well and putting out great heat. They even taped the printout of the furnace efficiency test results onto the furnace as record of proper operation. I've never seen such a thorough installation, testing and documentation of system performance. I am impressed with the quality and professionalism of Family HVAC process and all the great people that I have interacted with.
The AC was not tested due to cold weather but since they also provide one year of free maintenance, they will come back and ensure AC is operating in time for hot weather.
I would highly recommend Family Heating & Cooling for any HVAC work based on my experiences to date.

Brew was bang on time and equipped with booties to protect our floors. This was our first service having recently moved in. Service was completed very efficiently and Brew also sorted out some of the weird stuff going on with our evobee “smart” thermostats. Highly recommended.
