Completely rude and disrespectful on the phone. Wouldn’t recommend this company if my life depended on it. Who ever answers their phone will try to make u feel stupid when asking questions

Used them once, never again. Every time you turn around an extra charge shows up "extra long hose charge" told them "no its ok just drive on the grass" nope..... we need a longer hose and more $$$$$. Go anywhere else but here

Very unprofessional and very rude. Their driver hit my gate and treated me like it was my fault ... I will never use them again... Also paid for a lid that it took them weeks to install.

They came out for what we thought was a leak. (Thankfully it was not.)They searched for over an hour locating septic & sprinkler lines. Very friendly & knowledgeable. They have in the past & continue to handle all our septic needs in a timely basis. We have recommended them to neighbors as well.

Breached contract did not perform 8th inspection. High level alarm went off during contact period and received no call. When I called for service the arrived days after contract expired and wanted to charge us service call said I was not a customer. Call office and they asked for my issues in writing. We provided them and received no response. We called to inform A1 we had filed a complaint with TCEQ and Terry said I was not polite and out of contract. Don't waste your time. They steal your money.

I had issues with my system and Erik gave me the know how to fix it without wanting to charge me to come out and look at it. When I couldn’t figure something out he had the knowledge to tell me what to look for. He saved me a lot of money and it is much appreciated. Highly recommended company.

Septic system wasn’t working correctly. Called and the next am came and diagnosed the problem, rewired some things and came back the next am promptly and replaced the components to make my system work correctly. They were very knowledgeable and polite. I have used them previously to pump our system and was impressed with the technician then so when I needed a repair I called them back and wasn’t disappointed. Will definitely refer them to friends and continue to call them for our needs in the future.

We paid this company over $8,000.00 4 months ago to fix/replace our septic lines underground. After several months of delay and non-responsiveness, we have had to hire another company to come out and do the work since the damage was severe.
This company has yet to refund our money over the course of the last several months.

HORRIBLE i paid this guy $12,000 to fix my septic tank. HE CAUSED MORE DAMAGE AND DIDNT GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK I AM TAKING HIM TO COURT WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ALSO VERY RUDE

After purchasing a home in 2020, we began having issues. Due to the good reviews, we called A1 and they came out and said we needed pumped so we had it done.

The next time it rained, our toilets wouldn't flush. Having had septic for over 20 years, I was quite sure I needed a new drain field and told them that. James, the owner came out and said he needed to clean the lines. I am not a professional septic person but said I didn't think that would work and that I'd prefer to just put in new lines as this house was built 40 years ago. He charged me something like $1800+ to clean the lines and said it would work. It didn't.

Called him back for the same issue next time it rained and he said he'd need to connect 2 of my tanks and put in a pump. Well, I was quite sure this would in no way work and it didn't. In fact, when the pump kicked on, it blew out a connection and septic water would overflow onto my lawn. When I notified him, he sent a crew to dig up the connection and their solution was to dump a bag of concrete on the broken connection. No lie! Dry concrete, just dumped on the connection.

He had said that if the pump didn't work, he'd give me credit toward a new drain field. Well, then he quit answering my calls!

So, after spending over $4000 with him, I was in the same position I was in before I called him.

Oh! One of his ideas was to do less laundry!! (It's only my wife and I and 1 daughter in the home).

Anyway, I them contacted a company to come and install a new drain field. It's been over a year now and it's working exactly as it should with the new field.

Paid this company $8,000 to redo the septic lines at my house. It’s been over 6 weeks and the company continues to dodge my calls & I’ve had to hire a new company to perform the work. A1 septic has been giving me the runaround for weeks now to give me my money back.

Update 05/15: it’s been several months now & the company still hasn’t refunded my $8,000.00. I've had to hire another company to do the work & have filed a lawsuit.

Just wanted to share what a great experience I had with this company. I recently had my grease trap drained and the price they charged was very fair and reasonable. They explain exactly what needed to be done and answered all my questions. They are very knowledgeable and customer friendly. I have utilized their services in the past for septic work and did not hesitate to contact them again for the grease trap. I highly recommend A1 cleaning and septic services if you’re looking for a company who doesn’t overcharge and treats their customers in a professional and friendly manner!
