Backyard drain is backed up. Root Rooter offered suggestions for the repair. They were not contracted to do the work. Friendly and knowledgeable representative came out to the house.

Had a great experience. Loved how quickly we were able to get a tech to our house, and how friendly our tech, Jake, was! He was helpful and kind. He took care of our issue quickly too. Will definitely be calling Roto-Rooter again if we have any other issues!

Update: Each representative (both on the phone and that came out to my home) was very kind and professional after the confusion with dispatch you may see in the initial review.

They were not able to fix my issue, and I was charged the standard rate with the advertised $75 deduction. I am not going to lobby for additional discounting due to the disappointment of the no-show’s initially, but want to state no discount was offered. Perhaps standard, it is not for me to say.

I remain generally disappointed in the outcome in that I ultimately had to pay $388 for a gentlemen to NOT unclog my storm drain, and I do respect that a service call is a service call, but just stating my experience.

The solutions provided to me were $10,000 and $14,500 respectively. Hindsight is 20/20, but I would have given this solution more consideration if I had not just paid $388 to not resolve my issue. I am sure there are more guarantees involved in that solution, but I digress.

In the effort to provide me immediate solutions, I will change this from 2 to 3 stars.

I set an appointment for 5-7pm. No one showed, but I received a phone call at 9pm asking if they could still come. I asked them to please come tomorrow from 5-7pm.

7pm comes, no one calls, texts or arrived. I called their dispatch team and rescheduled again (now twice) for 5-7pm the following day.

As I put my kids to bed 2 hours later, dispatch calls me with snark and leaves voicemails asking if I’m still available tonight.

I called their dispatch back this morning, and they “have no record of me calling in, but we’ve been trying to reach you.”

Sure. I’ve had enough.”

Luke arrived introduced himself and was very polite and proffesional. Luke accessed our issue and then explained what he could do to unclog our main sewer drain and gave us a price. We accepted the price and he got started immediately. Luke was very careful not to make any mess when bringing his equipment in our house. He was able to unclog the drain rather quickly and then while he was cleaning out his equipment he ask us to run every faucet in the house and flush every toilet multiple times so he could confirm everything was flowing well.
He then ask us to fill the washing machine full of water and drain it. Everything is flowing perfectly. Luke did an awesome job. He is a very good, neat, polite and professional plumber.

I had a grinder pump go out at 10 pm on Friday night. When I called they said someone could be out in two hours. I told them Saturday morning would be fine. I was put on the priority schedule and was told a plumber would contact me at 8 am. At 8am I received a text from Luke saying he would be arriving in 30 to 45 minutes. Before Luke’s arrival another technician arrived to see if I needed any water clean up. Luke arrived at 8:45 he was very courteous and diagnosed the problem immediately! He gave me an estimate and went right to work. He was very thorough and did a professional job. He cleaned up the work area when he was finished. Luke is a fine young man and it was a pleasure meeting him! I recommend Roto Rooter great job!!

This was a very frustrating experience. We had sewage coming through a drain into a church, so we looked to this Roto Rooter location because it advertised as 24/7, weekends and nights (spoilers: they are not). I called at 7:30 pm to have someone come out, and they said it would be an hour or two. At 9:45 pm, they called back asking for all the information again and said someone would be out in the next 2 hours. Finally around 11:15 pm, they called me to say that they were done for the night, but they would send someone first thing in the morning, and she had to get information AGAIN from me for what was wrong. Again, I had been waiting almost 4 hours at the church by this point. If you're not going to make it out, that's fine, but just be up front with me. At 715 am the next day, they called and again had the wrong information on our problem and had to update it, but said that they would send someone by 8:15. At 8:20 they called and said it would still be delayed, at which point I canceled the request and went with another plumbing company. No apologies or anything.

I recently had an excellent experience with Roto-Rooter, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the entire process was handled with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care.

If you need plumbing services, Roto-Rooter is the way to go. They turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience. I’m grateful for their help and would not hesitate to call them again for any future needs.
