I contacted Maumee Valley for an estimate. McKay was sent out to take a look at my kitchen and bathroom. I received a email next day stating that they would not give me an estimate or consider taking on my job. When I asked what was the reason McKay couldn’t give me one and he hung up in my face. He left me to think that I was judge and considered less fortunate in which wasn’t the case because of the area my house that I had just inherited was in. I also asked him to not consider insurance because whether insurance was involved or not repairs and remodeling still had to be performed even if it was an out of pocket expense to me and to please provide me with a estimate and he refused before he hung up on me in my face. If, you don’t appear rich don’t call these guys also. They are definitely going to waste your time your time if they assume that you don’t have any money. Will not recommend to anyone due to the fact the company wouldn’t even provide me with a estimate and let me make the decision of whether or not I could afford to pay them for a job.

Home Solutions just finished our bathroom remodel and not only did they do great work, they were timely, courteous, and cleaned up after each work day. Ryder, the man who did most the work was a true professional. Can’t wait to hire them again.

I could not be happier. They turned my garage into a heated laundry room and added new doors. Really quality work. The were very nice, cleaned up every day, told us what was going on and always answered the phone. After all the horror stories you hear, I can't believe I found an ethical contractor! These guys are the real deal. Would recommend them to anyone with a home project,.

We were anticipating future hip/knee surgeries and didn't have a shower on the main floor of our home, and we didn't want to move. HS of MV converted our back-hall closet into a walk-in shower, and our 1/2 bath was transformed! McKay made excellent recommendations of where to shop for tile, countertop, etc. making the project easy to co-ordinate. Mike, who did the construction, was always professional, yet personable. He was precise in all his work and cleaned up everything at the end of the day. He was extremely helpful in making design suggestions/changes along the way.

We love our new full bath and highly recommend Home Solutions of Maumee Valley!

They'll send someone to your home who is not a tradesman in any capacity to waste your time not knowing whether or not a job can really be done without going back and talking to a professional plumber, or whomever. So they pay someone who knows nothing to waste your time, AND gets your hopes up and has to talk to a third party. 🤔 How would this practice work in another field? Auto maintenance, for instance... would I ask an auto salesman to tell me they could, or could not fix my car? Or how about in the medical field... do I ask a housekeeper at a hospital to examine me and let him waste my time and then wait while he goes and talks to the surgeon (who has never met me) as to whether I need surgery or not??? Uh...no.

On top of which, they don't have enough employees at this company. As of now, jobs are being scheduled 6-8 months out. Really??? COVID is long over and many companies like this are STILL using it as an excuse, apparently. Do yourself a favor - at least for a plumbing job if that's what you need - pay the money for an independent actual plumber with experience to assess your needs and situation. If it is a necessary job and your time is important to you at all, it's worth it. Then you can have an answer on the spot by someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Remodeling 3 bathrooms at the same time can be very challenging. Home Solutions helped us through the entire process and we had a great experience working with them! They are very professional, timely, clean, offered design solutions and just nice people to work with. We have used them in the past and have them scheduled for our next remodeling project.

The whole experience with Home Solutions was really great. Working with McKay and Troy on the front end gave me confidence that the project would go smoothly. Brian and the guys did an awesome with executing the design.

Home Solutions remodeled the entire (small) house and the results were fabulous! I purchased an early 50's bungalow that had no interior charm plus lots of small rooms and cramped spaces.

I worked with the job supervisor deciding which walls to remove to give the main floor a more open, loft-like feel. DEMO DAYS followed--down went the kitchen walls, down went a hallway wall, down went a bedroom wall and a closet (along with the bathroom being totally gutted). NOW when you enter the front door you can see a large kitchen with island to the right, the main 'salon/reading room' as you walk in and the large family room to the rear right. All the rooms are painted in different shades of green and the feel and flow of the house is amazing and fun and it all works! Entertaining would have been impossible in the original house with those small cramped spaces.

HOME SOLUTIONS did all the work, and I was not living in the house at the time as the main floor was a total re-construction: electrical, plumbing, old bathroom gutted and new bathroom installed, new kitchen installed with new cabinets, island and new window, a walk-in closet was constructed, a small office also made from found space in the master bedroom and a wall of cabinets and bookshelves were installed in the main 'salon/reading room'. Plaster was re-textured and new drywall installed where necessary. Ceilings were patched seamlessly (because of all the walls being removed) and dated crown molding was removed and those corners where the walls and ceiling meet are beautifully done. (I know---removing crown seems sinful but it was BAD crown!!!)

The workmen from HS were great--- very friendly and respectful, and the job supervisor met with me many times for updates and reviews.

So take the first step and give HS a call if you have a small or large job to be tackled---my results were terrific!

I had two full bathrooms gutted and remodeled. A job that was supposed to take 7 weeks from start to finish took almost 4 months, not because they couldn't get product, but because of all the rework. The poor quality, lack of professionalism and knowledge would have been comical, if it wouldn't have been so frustrating. I have enough pictures to post three every week for the next 8 plus months (not an exaggeration) so stay tuned. Here's an example: the owner of the company offered me $25 an hour to repaint one of my bathrooms because his crew couldn't get it right.

Home Solutions remodeled our MBR. Everyone involved - McKay, Elliott and Parker - were professional, personable, timely, communicated well and very skilled. They were conscientious about cleaning up every day before they left. We are thoroughly enjoying our new bathroom!!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and personable employees / workers. My shower turned out lovely! No job goes exactly as planned, but the two "mishaps" were immediately resolved.... And the price was very competitive. I will definitely use them again for future remodeling needs and have already recommended them to friends!

I am very conflicted writing this review as the final product turned out as we wished, however the process getting there was a miserable mess. We signed the contract and paid the deposit end of Oct/Early Nov 2021. We were originally told it would be 8-9 months (June/July 2022) before our project would start, however it ended up being 1yr 5 months before they began. The project was supposed to take 1 month (it's only an 8x9 bathroom and no plumbing was being moved) but ended up taking almost 2 full months. Throughout the project I constantly had to watch over everything they did, and have them correct items (like installing the wrong bathroom fan) before they moved on. Their communication was terrible and many times their employees didn't know what was going on. The project supervisor came out once to meet me and had no idea of half the things that they were supposed to do. On the very final day I went home for lunch and found them trying to take shortcuts and fail to do things (like failing to sanding down where they patched nail holes on the trim). If it wasn't for me constantly going over every single point of the project, it would have looked like a sloppy mess. I would have given this a 2 star, but because their tile guy did such a good job, I bumped it to 3. We will not be using them again.

Had Home Solutions do a full master bath remodel. Excellent work from start to finish. Showed up on time, completed work in atimely manner, kept the work site clean, kept us informed about what was getting gone, etc. Great crew and totally impressed with the quality of their work, Recommend highly!

We had back porch torn down-replaced with 3 season type room. Very satisfied once completed. The work crew for the foundation & complete structure we’re really super hard working guys that were really nice to work with through out the process. Troy & the girls in the office were really great at answering any questions that I had along the way & always got back to me in a timely manner. I would consider them again for any future projects.

Home Solutions recently did a total makeover in our ranch style main bathroom involving a horrendous amount of labor. Mike, their employee, attacked every phase of the operation with professional integrity and know how for every aspect that needed to be accomplished. He is truly a master at his craft, showing pride and perfection. This gentleman is above an beyond expectation!! A valuable asset for Home Solutions of Maumee Valley.

They did a great job, stuck to there original quote, which was set 15 months previously. Highly qualified workers, who were pleasant to work with and accommodating. They also had helpful suggestions about the Bathroom layout. Only directly worked with McKay and onsite workers. Mike did a great job pulling things together and professionally finishing the Bathroom.

Home Solutions just recently finished re-modeling our upstairs, bathroom. No structure changes, but it was a gut job replacing the vanity, flooring, bath fan etc.. The biggest item was converting the tub/shower to a high quality Kohler walk in shower. This was purchased through Home Solutions at a very competitive price. It was a big job, but the process was seamless. First, Home Solutions has really good people that care about their customers. From McKay, our estimator, everyone in the office and the professional installers Dave, Don and the rest of the crew do top notch work in the field; Dave went over the processes with us everyday and told us what to expect. In addition, Dave made recommendations on certain things like the flooring that made a big difference. We will recommend Home Solutions to friends a and family and will use their services in the future.

I contracted Home Solutions of Maumee Valley to do a kitchen remodel on my older home. They provided a comprehensive quote and upon completion of the project there were no surprises in the cost even though they encountered some surprises once they got into the work. All of the tradesmen were friendly, professional and respectful of our house. When they left for the day the cleaned up the work area. Doing a kitchen remodel is stressful but I was pleasantly surprised at how they were able to keep us functioning even amongst the construction. No shortcuts were taken and the end result is absolutely beautiful. I am so happy I chose Home Solutions of Maumee Valley and give them my highest recommendation.

We renovated a large Master bath. From the beginning phase of planning the design to completion they communicated regarding the project and next steps. Every person was very professional, knowledgeable and skillful. We removed a wall, new wiring, new plumbing to create a new design. Each phase of installation was seamless and outcome is outstanding! We look forward to working with Home Solutions of Maumee Valley on our next project! From their work we also have several family members that have already contracted with them for their project.

So happy with our 2 bathroom remodels! Crew was reliable, had good communication, respectful of our home, and did great work. Start to finish a very easy process and love the new looks! Price very reasonable for the extent of our project.
