We had an extensive remodel focused on a home built in 1978. We had all the floors replaced, gutted 4 bathrooms, gutted the kitchen, and took down 4 major walls to enable an open concept layout (which required 4 beams).
We could tell from the beginning that DFW Improved was a great company starting with the bid from Juan through the interior design with Sarah and then through the remodeling process with Luis. The scope of the project required our family to move out for the entirety of the renovation. The communication and status updates from Luis was phenomenal. We always knew what stage of the project we were in and which trade would be performing what work on any given day. Luis was wonderful at walking us through the process and discussing options and any potential obstacles/challenges. When we did face issues, Luis and his team came up with solutions to enable the project to move forward and still meet our vision for our home. At no point throughout the renovation process did it become a negative experience due to the transparency and patience of Luis and his team. We would highly recommend DFW Improved to anyone considering a home renovation.

We had an awesome experience with DFW Improved to create a custom bar in our home! The level of professionalism was exceptional from beginning to end - Gary, Tiffany, and Andrew were the most responsive team and answered every question we had. We really enjoyed the early creative stages with Gary and then getting to work through design details with Tiffany. Andrew was a reliable, honest, and communicative project manager with us through the entire effort. They truly made our vision come to life! DFW Improved also has a very respectful and courteous team of contractors that partner with them and we felt comfortable having them in our home every day. We could not be more pleased with our experience and look forward to our next project with them - cheers!

I had the pleasure of working with Kliff Hass at DFW Improved as our project manager, and I can confidently say that he exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning, Kliff was there every step of the way, guiding us through the entire process with professionalism and expertise.

What truly sets Kliff apart is his commitment to communication. No matter the time of day, he was always available to answer any questions we had, and he did so promptly and thoroughly. His responsiveness made a world of difference, especially during critical phases of the project when clarity was essential.

Project manager was very professional and hands on explaining all the options. Work was completed to spec and on time. Though a small project (install two safety bars in shower) they did excellent work. The only concern was that the cost seemed to be on the high side but since it was a small job and locked up the installer for the day I suppose it was appropriate.

DFW did an amazing job on our office remodel. From the initial design meet with Debra, to the final sign off. All of the people who worked in our home, were polite, respectful and did a fabulous job. Mario, our project manager, kept us well informed of who would be doing what on a daily basis. He was great at addressing any questions we would have. Good communication is key when doing any project, especially a bigger job like this was. Great communication throughout. Highly recommend!

Update: DFW recently completed a bathroom/ closet/ laundry room renovation for us. 4 different companies were involved with this project at some point, but communication between everybody was great and Mario was once again our PM and managed to keep everything flowing smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. DFW are super easy to work with.

Once the bathroom was finished I had a leak in the kitchen. It was a no brainer to ask DFW to take care of it. Once again everybody has been super professional. I know my kitchen sink area will look better than it did before!!

If you need a renovation done then I highly recommend DFW improved.

Huge thanks to our project manager, Klif, for making the experience of renovating our bathroom easier than we expected! Krista, our designer, helped us pick out materials that made sense for our budget. Every step of the way, we felt like our concerns were heard - great communication all around. Projects like these are costly, so we were grateful to have professionals like Klif and Krista give us peace of mind.

Josh and Heath are truly a dynamic duo when it comes to home repairs and navigating difficult insurance claims. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and highly professional.

We experienced a leak in our kitchen and had been going back and forth with our insurance company for months. Once Heath got involved, everything we needed was finally approved.

Josh came in a few weeks before Thanksgiving and made our wish come true—being able to cook our Thanksgiving meal in our own home. He completed the work within a week and was exceptionally diligent and meticulous throughout the process. His team was fantastic, and we had zero issues.

Our house caught fire and suffered extensive Fire and Water damage. DFW Improved came highly recommended to me by a friend in the construction industry. I’m a third party home inspector so I’m quite familiar with the building process. DFW Imoroved did a fantastic job their construction expertise knowledge and efficiency exceeds many of the new home construction companies work that I see on a regular basis. Our GC kept us well informed every step of the way. Their crews were friendly, knowledgeable and kept the work sight clean. I visited the house daily and monitored their work and progress. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently. They were very receptive to my concerns and worked hard to make sure we were happy.

We’re very happy with our small hall bathroom remodel by DFW! The bathroom had some partial updates in the past, but needed to be finished out. DFW removed the fur downs, installed a new tub, retiled the shower, added a vent fan, new lighting, painted the walls and cabinets, and updated the plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware.

We kept the original cabinet, which had prior water damage. DFW repaired it and even lined the bottom with vinyl tile to help protect against future leaks — a thoughtful touch.

All the tradesmen did quality work, and Jason, the project manager, was fantastic. He communicated clearly throughout every step and made sure the job was done right, including all cleanup and final touch-ups.

We remodeled our master bathroom and our daughter’s bathroom. The company was awesome from start to finish. I can’t say enough about our project manager Zander James. He was professional, knowledgeable and was extremely hands on. We were so pleased we decided to have our front door replaced also. I would highly recommend DFW Improved.

DFW Improved recently remodeled my master bathroom and it was an extremely positive experience all the way around. From the initial visit, to the design visit, to sign off day, I always felt valued as a customer. The finished product was as promised and finished on time. The project Manager Jason Q. is the best! His communication and hand-holding skills are top notch. Any question I had he answered timely and in a way that I could understand. I also have to give a big THANK YOU to Gabi, who took my vision and turned it into a fabulous master bath. DFW Improved is the best choice I could have made. If you have a remodeling project, at the very least look at DFW Improved.

We recently worked with DFW Improved on the renovation and remodel of our home, including our kitchen, master bathroom, powder bathroom, new flooring and painting throughout, as well as structural beam placement to replace pillars we had in our downstairs living area. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!

From the beginning to the end, the entire team we worked with at DFW Improved was professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Debra and Jason, who initially came out, saw our vision and with their help & the help of their general contractor, Mario, they made our vision come to life.

Mario was a wonderful general contractor to work with throughout the process. He communicated clearly through every step of the project, keeping us up-to-date on the progress of our job, and if we ran into an obstacle, he was on it immediately and contacted the necessary subcontractors to come in to fix or overcome the obstacle. What impressed us most was Mario’s & DFW Improved’s attention to detail and commitment to making sure every aspect was done right and that we were completely satisfied from start to finish, and even a year later, at the end of our warranty period.

Tiffany, the designer at their main office, has a great eye, and helped with the design of some of the areas in our house; and all of their subcontractors, including Ruben, Roy, Ernesto, Guillermo, (& others) were very timely, efficient & eager to please.

We used DFW Improved a few months after our original remodel for another room in our house, and we would use them again in the future as we still have upstairs bathrooms that need updating. We would (and we have) highly recommend DFW Improved and their GC, Mario, to anyone considering a remodel or renovation project of their home. They truly made the experience as smooth and enjoyable as a renovation project can possibly be, and we are so happy with our beautiful, new & improved home! Thank you Mario & DFW Improved!

UPDATE: Shortly after posting my review, I received a call from Jason Bailey at DFW Improved. He was very kind and offered to have someone else come out to look at our project.

Amy Mendeljian came out, and within a few minutes Jason also stopped by. They measured everything, took photos, and were very professional. We haven’t moved forward with the project yet, but I did want to update my review to say they made the situation right.

I completely understand how busy things can get, so I’m sure my previous experience was just something that slipped through the cracks.

I wish I could give them a good review, but they ghosted me. I need new floor due to an insurance claim, and I was hoping to use somebody that could do more than floors because we need to have baseboards removed and replaced and painted and we had some other projects we might want to do also.

Heath O’Bier came out and spoke with us. I thought he was really nice. I had high hopes. He said he would send us a form to sign for insurance, but he did not do that. I texted him and I emailed him and he never replied. However, I did get a form from somebody at DFW Improved’s office, but this was not the form that we had discussed with Heath. I replied to her and told her what we were expecting, and she did not reply.

I don’t know why I was ghosted, but if the job was too small or there was some other concern, I wish he would’ve just said so. Like I said, I actually had high hopes because I wanted a general contractor. I really liked him, but unfortunately, at this point, even if we did hear back I don’t think we can count on them.

I love my bathroom remodel! The people I interfaced with at DFW Improved were professional and punctional. The project manager (Zander) always let me know when a contractor was going to be at my house. My bathroom went from boring to a spa like space. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to remodel.

We cannot give the DFW Improved team enough praise for helping us remodel our three bathrooms from the 80’s to something we are proud of and enjoy using. From the beginning walkthrough and proposal with Debra, to the design meeting with Tiffany, and the actual construction execution with Kevin, everyone we worked with from day one (including the contractors they used) went out of their way to roll with our punches, questions, and adding of scope. Not to mention we came to them with a short timeline for the amount of work it required. By the end of the project we had added painting the whole house, removing popcorn ceilings, replacing a kitchen sink, and various other tasks that made our lives so much easier. Especially during the construction phase (bulk of the project) Kevin stayed in constant communication, helped us make informed decisions, and managed to finish our project way before the expected finish date, even with all the added scope. By the final walkthrough we had already worked through any fine tuning, touchups, and repairs, that there was very little to discuss. We highly recommend DFW Improved for any remodel or renovation. DFW Improved did an AMAZING job with our hall bathroom. We knew we wanted to remove the tiny tub/shower and flip the layout to incorporate a large shower. We found a patterned floor tile and let DFW Improved get to work. The Design team (Sarah, Tiffany & Jodi) walked us through selections that complimented our ideas. Josh, our project manager, stepped in to take that design from paper to reality. Josh was great at communicating through out the entire process and keeping the project on schedule. We decided to transform our powder room into a 3/4 bathroom by adding a shower. After getting several quotes and design ideas from different builders, DFW Improved stood out with the best design option that truly matched our vision—and they went above and beyond to make it happen.

As with any project, there were a few minor obstacles along the way, but the team handled them with professionalism and kept our satisfaction as their top priority. We had a water restoration project that we entrusted to DFW Improved. My husband and I were happy with the service and attention we received beginning with our design and build consultant, Juan. He was very knowledgeable and helped us through the complicated process with our insurance company. Tiffany, our design consultant, was helpful with picking out all the finishes and materials for the renovation. Klif, our project manager went above and beyond making sure we understood the process and were informed through every step of the renovation. It was a joy to work with him! All the sub contractors that came into our home to do work were respectful and great at their particular craft. We also appreciated a few visits from Scott, the VP of construction, who came by to check on our project. My husband and I are so happy that we chose DFW Improved and we'll definitely be sharing our experience with our friends and family.
