Square One Construction is hands down the BEST general contractor in Arizona!!! They built us a 2 bedroom, 2 bath addition onto our home in Scottsdale and the the process was absolutely seamless. Every detail was taken care of and I never had to worry! They listened to our vision and brought it to life. All of their trades were friendly and considerate with our family and pets. I'm already thinking of more projects we can have Square One help us with!! Thank you!!!!

My wife and I purchased our Scottsdale home in May of ‘23. We determined prior to closing that we needed to add a casita including full bathroom. Complicating matters was that we needed to manage the project from Chicago, our primary residence. Thus, in addition to finding a GC that provided quality work at a fair price, we needed someone we could TRUST being our eyes/ears on the ground while we were in Chicago.
We interviewed and received Bids from six contractors including Bob Kapci, Square One. The estimate we received from Square One was in the middle of the pack. However, we selected Square One because we felt that they were best quipped to deliver the ultimate trifecta of quality/price/and speed.

The Square One team and excellent collection of sub-contractors completed our project on time , on budget and certainly delivered the level of quality & craftsmanship that was important to us.

Square One has done three remodels for us. Each time Bob and his team exceeded our expectations. No remodel ever goes completely to plan, but Bob is super easy to work with and helped get any issues resolved and the project back on track. The finished projects were consistently done with high quality and on budget. You can’t go wrong using Bob and his team!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Bob, Ryan and their team!! Their communication and responsiveness before and during our major home remodel was tremendous!! These are 2 critical characteristics that many contractors lack and frankly why projects can go wrong. As a manager in my field, I loved their attention to details and schedules to ensure the project went to plan. They cared to the level as if it were their own home remodel. We had an excellent experience with Bob & Square One Construction. Bob was thorough, timely, organized, and all around, just a really nice contractor to work with. His team helped us come in under budget for our home addition, which allowed for us to do more remodeling throughout the other portion of the house! We have recommended Square One Construction to many friends & family and I would continue to highly recommend him!

This last summer we had the unfortunate experience of a broken waterline that flooded our master bedroom, walk-in closet and master bathroom. As snowbirds living 1000 miles away from Scottsdale at the time, what do you do. You contact Bob Kapci owner of Square One Construction who did a great job a few years earlier on some remodeling on our home. All worked out great. We trusted Bob on doing the leg work on new finishes for flooring, new tile, counter tops, etc. with details handled through email/phone calls without us feeling the need of being on site. We worked with Bob Kapci of Square One Construction through four distinct phases of our remodel, transforming our dark "Tuscan" home into a bright and airy desert contemporary. We are thrilled with the end result, and we can't recommend Bob highly enough. Bob's experience, knowledge, easy-going demeanor, and "we-will-make-you-happy" attitude made him a pleasure to work with. He organized the phases of our construction methodically, always describing the pros and cons of various options. Bob is very honest and forthright; he informed us when he didn't think the benefits of a proposed change were worth the price tag. On the rare occasion when one of his subcontractors made a mistake, Bob took care of the problem without any complaints, determined to make the situation "right." Unlike many general contractors, Bob is also extremely responsive; he typically answered our calls and texts immediately, but if he was in a meeting or on the other line, he called us back promptly. We love our "new" home, and we are grateful we had Bob Kapci and Square One Construction to guide us through the process!

We had a complete flooring and baseboard remodel, kitchen and bathroom countertops redone, an electric stove converted to gas range, a shower added to a bathroom, master bedroom window converted to a door out to our patio, and our 3rd car garage converted into a home office. Square One was great at communicating with us when moving out of our home. They were efficient and professional in every step of the process. Helped us choose our bathroom accessories, windows, sinks, etc. and made it a simple streamlined process. They ensured every detail on our punch list was taken care of and reviewed everything on the final walk through. We are now enjoying our lovely remodel. I highly recommend SquareOne, even if it isn’t your lowest quote. You get what you pay for and everything was top notch!

I’ve used Square One Construction a number of times over the years and I’ve been very happy with everything. Bob and his company came highly recommended by an old neighbor, so I was able to see his work beforehand. He was extremely easy to work with and has great subcontractors that work for him. I’ve been so impressed with his electricians, painters, tilers, countertop people, etc. He renovated 3 bathrooms in my old house, which all turned out beautiful. In my new house, he renovated 5 bathrooms, a TV room, various smaller kitchen projects. I had his team work on some things that needed to be redone that were done by the previous owner. A Casita is the next project.

Bob’s communication is great. I’ve never had any issues getting ahold of him. He also has great attention to detail and can recognize when something needs to be redone or perfected. Highly recommend!

Home renovations are notoriously stressful, but with Ryan and team at Square One they made the process as painless as possible. They were communicative, always had a solution ready for the inevitable project hiccups, and offered helpful recommendations as this was our first time doing something of this scale. We recommend Square One to all of our friends and would love to work with them again in the future.

Square One Construction just finished up a kitchen remodel project for us and I cant say enough good things about Ryan and the people he has working with him. Ryan's communication is outstanding. We always knew the schedule, he responds quickly when we had questions and was onsite when work was being done. All the guys that came into our house (Design, Demo, Electricians, Plumbers, Cabinet install, Counter install, Appliance, etc.) were professional, pleasant and just excellent at their trade. I do not hesitate highly recommending Square One Construction and will have them do our next remodel when the time comes.

We were putting off our kitchen remodel due to uncertainty about contractors, inconvenience, etc. when we were told about the people at Square One and decided to meet with them. Best decision we could have made! Ryan was knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and kept everything moving in a timely manner. I always knew that he was a quick text away if there was a question or concern. All the subcontractors he brought in were professional, pleasant, and kept any disruption to a minimum. The vendors he recommended were also extremely helpful and easy to work with. The project was completed on schedule and we are extremely pleased with the result.
