The worst service ever. I called on a Tues morning st 7 30 a.m. and it's now Fri at 11 a.m. and still haven't called me back. I was told by reception that they would call right back. Still waiting for a call. I had to go else where as I had a leak that needed to get fixed asap

After trying for weeks to solve the problem myself I called for my mother’s kitchen sink that was clogged. Susan scheduled it and they came out the same day. Josh was very professional and took care of it straight away.
We will call them the next time she has plumbing issues at her home.

Came here to leave a scathing review after we got into a bit of a road rage incident with a driver on East Main Road due to the construction/zipper merge but he made us both laugh so hard with his prolific miming skills as we passed him that I’m here to say “thanks for the laugh” lol

They replaced my water heater. Service was fast and friendly. Price was much lower than expected. 3 of 5 other places on the island never even called me back. Sticking with these guys for future service.

We needed a new hot water heater. Dan Donovan was SUPER responsive - 1) getting back to me about my initial inquiry 2) showing up on time - 3) getting a quote out - 4) getting the work done by Chris and Dave! It was a real pleasure dealing with the entire company! Lauren and Tracy work in the office. When I called, they relayed a message to Dan, and he got back to me asap! I'm giving 5 *****!!!!! ps Dan suggested a water filtration system. The system has made a world of difference!

Donavan's sent out Chris to fix our bathroom sink and shower faucet after they stopped running. Chris was extremely helpful and very effective at communicating the problem and the steps needed to fix the issue. Very professional and worked long hours to resolve the problem

Pretty sure they were the least helpful people I’ve ever spoken to on the phone. They acted like me calling for a plumbing issue was an inconvenience to them.

We have used Donovan’s half a dozen times … SO happy with them. They are amazing. June in the office is so friendly and helpful . Josh came out today - same day I called ! He was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We had water spots on our ceiling and he identified the problem and fixed it in an hours time. I would not call anywhere else. Donovan’s is excellent !

Have used them 3 times now and every time they arrive quickly to assess the repairs needed and get the system stable if a bigger fix is needed and then schedule the fix soon after. Pricing, quality and reliability are always great.

Saved my butt on an emergency call. My renters have a newborn and the hot water tank was leaking & needed replacement. They surprisingly came the same day and got everything running again! Professional, prompt, and understanding. This was my first experience with Donovan & Sons, but will not be the last. Thank you!!
PS I respect those with bad experiences. In this type of business, things sometimes go wrong. This company may not always surpass expectations, but they are honest. We all have bad days.

After a burst pipe Donovan was here immediately although it was late Saturday afternoon. I got a temporary fix and was able to get my water turned back on and stay at my home. Monday they sent a crew to do a permanent fix. So grateful. Photos are temporary repair and broken pipe.

Very prompt, efficient and friendly service from Kevin and Sam. It did take a some time for someone to call me to make an appointment, but once they did, it went great. Top notch service from them both..

They recently replaced a boiler in the apartment building I live in. After they shut off the heat and hot water, they replaced the boiler, and before verifying whether or not tenants had functioning heat in their apartments, declared the job complete. I have not had heat in my apartment since they reported everything was working as intended. Do not recommend.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I called this company for an emergency plumbing issue because they said they could come out the soonest. I cancelled other plumbers based on that. They showed up, spent about 20 minutes looking around and fiddling with the plumbing, then told me they only handle emergency calls for “regular customers” — after showing up and doing partial work.

That left me with no working toilet at 5 PM on a Saturday and no time to call anyone else. If that’s their policy, they should disclose it upfront, not after wasting time and leaving me worse off than before. Completely unprofessional way to handle an emergency call.

Worst supply house there is. Very unprofessional unhelpful counter staff. I am a plumber and frequent supply houses. Avoid this one!
