They answered the phone and got me on the schedule the next day. I had a serious draft issue that was quickly identified and corrected by the friendly and knowledgable tech, James. Sleeping much better now! Would recommend A-Tec to anyone.

Would give zero stars if I could. Brand new lime washed hearth and fireplace only to be destroyed by the mess they made. Black ash all over the hearth and fingerprints on the face of the fireplace. They even checked off that the screen was good. We don’t have a screen.

I had damage to the crown and cap of my chimney that included crumbling brick and cement. Also, the flashing had been damaged and chewed away by squirrels. On the same day I called them, A-Tec came to view the job and give an estimate and were able to schedule the repair within two weeks. They did a great job explaining what needed to be done, and took photos to show the finished job. It turned out the two flues at the top of the chimney needed replacing, which they did for no extra charge. I wouldn't say it was cheap, but I think the price was fair for what was done.

The technicians were all very knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient. Pricing was very fair. Both times they arrived exactly when they said they would. I highly recommend!

A-Tec Chimney came out to replace a chimney at our home in September of 2022. For this service, we paid $3350. The installation was improperly completed, leading to ceiling and wall water damage. They came out to fix the issue with silicone and we were told we had to take care of the damage caused by the chimney ourselves. After a few months, we recently had new water damage in the same area. A tech came out to investigate. During his investigation, he dropped a large HVAC vent which damaged our recently renovated wall and floor. He informed us that the roofing installed by the masons was installed incorrectly because “they are masons, not roofers.” The roof had to be reopened and reinstalled around the chimney to remedy the issue. There was no charge for this service.

When asked about the damage caused by the tech and incorrect installation, he said that the owner did not want to put it through insurance and he would have to fix it. As he didn’t have any previous flooring experience, I told him I would rather it be fixed professionally. He told me the owner would be in contact.

A week later, there was no contact. I reached out to the owner to inquire as to when the repairs would be done. He told me that he wouldn’t be repairing anything. After explaining all the damage had been done as a result of incorrect installation, he asked me to send him pictures.

Days went by and I realized that the owner had blocked my number. I called from another phone and the owner explained he wasn’t going to make any repairs. Furthermore, I was told that if I had any other issues from the install and wanted to be “a nit-picking customer”, I was now “on my own”.

This is my second time using A-Tec and I couldn't be happier. They were able to get me an appointment ASAP and they communicated arrivals and got there just as they said they would. Service was great and they worked quickly and most importantly cleanly.

Great experience cleaned my chimney, when 3 other companies just want to sell me a liner and would not clean my chimney. Tech chimney is an honest company I will always use them

Guys showed up on time and did the necessary in an efficient manner. Most important, they didn't discover some major flaw that needed an expensive repair. Such was not the case with previous 2-3 chimney cleanings causing me to be concerned lest this crew might discover something. It's nice to have a clean and healthy chimney

Came out to our new home for a chimney clean before winter. They were honest and let us know that the chimney didn't need cleaning. Instead asked them to do an inspection and they only charged us the lesser price. Great guys.

Called a few companies due to having a possible blocked chimney and was able to get an appointment with them right away. I had an appt scheduled for between 3 and 5 pm. At around 430 I received a call updating me of the time it would take to get to my house and asking me if that was still okay. The two workers Steve and Kenny arrived just a little after five and were very professional and polite. They quickly addressed my chimney problem and gave me a written estimate of what they recommend I do in the future.

Our HoA has been using A-Tec Chimney since 2022 and have always been very happy with their service. They answer the phone or quickly return calls as necessary, come within the agreed time window, are very polite, thorough and knowledgeable.

Job completed on schedule and looks great. The chimney was an odd size so the cap had to be built special.

These guys are the best. Great craftsmanship, cost, and professionalism. Finding good contractors can be a challenge and a headache. Save yourself the trouble and call these guys.

These guys were awesome. Very competitive pricing. They worked super fast. They had the job staged out, taken down and rebuilt with an incredible pace of work. They were clean, courteous and professional. James protected my property and yard / garden as they were working. The end result was incredible. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to do a rebuild. Several neighbors are already asking. Fantastic family business.
