Our inspector was on-time (at least 20 minutes early!) and performed a thorough inspection of the property, from the basement to the attic, as well as the exterior features of the property (siding, fences, decks, shed, etc). We also got the septic inspection service. The detailed report was available that same night. Would gladly use HomePro Inspections for my next home purchase and highly recommend them.

I represented the buyer in a property under contract and they used HomePro for their inspection. My client and I were led to believe HomePro completed a "thorough" inspection of the property. Come to find out HomePro did not inspect the unit in the attic at all-they merely photographed it and said "it was working". When my client had it serviced, they were informed of a gas leak due to corrosion-and there is absolutely no way that amount of corrosion could have occurred in the short time my client lived there post inspection. The unit was placed on sheet rock shims with an improperly sized pan underneath it, the lines were completely clogged with mold, mold growth was evident throughout the surrounding area surfaces, the lines were duct taped together, and the big deal-it is not compatible with the exterior unit. There is no way they properly inspected this unit-they would have produced photographs of how precariously poorly it was placed. Home inspectors generally live to point out these issues which is how I am 100% certain they did inspect it at all. Due to this, we missed the opportunity to negotiate a replacement for the unit and my client had to spend over $20k to have the work done-not to mention the gas leak that was right above their bedroom which could have posed a real danger. HomePro refused to take any accountability for their negligence and would not even refund my client the cost of the home inspection. None of this happened overnight, but through years of neglect of the previous owner. I absolutely would not recommend them.

HD has to outsource the carpet install. First trip: 3 men came ripped up carpet & doors. Refused to install bc of wood floors underneath (I paid for pre- install inspection). They Walked off leaving doors piled up in main bath. Second trip: same 3 showed & walked again off bc (HD sent some temporary carpet pieces bc of my bare floors) & they refused to “ handle”. I called HD & installers refused to talk to the manager due to language barriers. Third trip: a professional installer did a great job but could not finish install of doors (carpet clearance great) bc first two install appts. destroyed/lost hardware. HD is at the mercy of this outsourced unprofessional & crippling association.
