Rouben and the BuildPROs team were fantastic to work with throughout our window, siding, and garage job. They offered many different options in terms of design, quality, and overall budget. We are very happy with the work that was completed on our home.

If bulidPROS represented a word, it would stand for transformative, magical, amazing and reasonable. Last year, I had a major reconstruction done on my first floor
apartment. This included: kitchen, bathroom, plumbing, flooring, painting, electrical. tiles, cabinets, and construction starting from the basement to the first floor to shore up the bathroom. The crew did an excellent job anticipating and fixing the problems. My apartment is completely transformed. I am satisfied beyond even my own expectations. Thank you Rouben Balagian and company.

TLDR: We hired them to completely remodel our bathroom, redo the basement stairs, and they did a few other small things along the way. Rouben and his team were phenomenal. If you want quality work, excellent communication, and ease of mind, hire Build Pros.

We originally wanted to have our microwave vented out (rather than circulating air and grease in the kitchen) and add a second banister to the stairs to the basement to make them more safe for our growing toddler. We were also considering having our spare basement bathroom remodeled. The bathroom really wasn't very functional because it was built in pieces (so the gross tiny stall shower wasn't even in the bathroom). That was a big job, and we wanted to get a quote for all three pieces. The first two jobs were too small on their own, so we hired Build Pros for all three.

They were amazing to work with, and the work they did was the highest of quality. The team was extremely communicative, and we always knew when they were coming, what they were doing next, and what to expect. Their spreadsheet system made it really easy for everyone to keep track of what we had selected, costs, etc. They helped us a ton with design decisions, made recommendations when appropriate, and made sure we were happy with absolutely everything before moving forward. Our house stayed unbelievably clean, given the level of work they were doing, throughout the process. Mike and Rouben were fantastic at reimagining the layout of our bathroom, taking all of our priorities into consideration. John, their carpenter, is a master. We went way over budget, but a lot of that was my fault. I wanted a bathroom that was functional, but the more we talked and designed, the more I realized we actually could get a really *nice* bathroom that wasn't just functional, but high end. They did a bunch of other random things in the area too. We just were so happy with their work, and they were already there, so we asked them to fit in a few small things and they were awesome in getting those done too (adding a couple outlets in the adjacent home gym, replacing our outdoor water spigots, etc.). We are extremely happy with the final products. We even had a water problem shortly after they finished. They fixed it swiftly with no charge. It might have been a part issue or a labor issue, and so in the beginning it was unclear whether we were going to have to pay for repairs right away. I would have been very disappointed if they had charged us, and have all the more confidence in them since they fixed it and stood by the work and warranty.

The only real negative was that sometimes when we had to make a decision, and the team gave us a quick "off the cuff" estimate about how much a few different options would cost, the estimate was really a fair amount lower than estimated. That contributed to some of our cost increase, but in the end I think we would have made the same decisions regardless. We're extremely happy with the final products. We even hired them again and they're starting work at my mother-in-laws house this week! I'm already dreaming of putting an addition on our house in the future, and we will hire them absolutely if/when we do this.

Rouben and his Build Pros team did a fantastic job with our kitchen. From design to finished product he was there for us, offered suggestions like the unique but subtle tile placement over the stove for a design pop. He was available and willing to answer questions. They are honest, saved our subfloor as it didn’t need replacement. As with any remodel things come up but they were always addressed immediately. After shopping around we found build pros pricing to be very good and he seems to actually care about his clients. We decided to have our fence redone with Rouben and Build Pros based on our kitchen remodel experience. They have great people but special shout out to Altino who did an amazing job on our kitchen and fence! Also if you are wondering like I was, don’t be afraid to ditch your old peninsula. We are loving the extra space.

At a young age, my wife and I bought our first house, a two family duplex in 2000. Over the years, we hired numerous contractors having windows and roofs, etc. replaced multiple times because none of them stood by their work, it left a bad taste in our mouth, with trusting anyone.
With the back of our house being stucco, we dealt with superficial cracks and deterioration that ultimately allowed water damage over the years. Last year, my wife and I decided to search for yet another contractor that would be able to hopefully solve our issues with the back of the house and remove the stucco. After talking with four different contractors, we settled with Rouben and his build pros team. The stucco removal on the back of our house was no easy task and made us nervous because we had tile on the walls on the inside of the house that we didn’t want damaged but Rouben kept reassuring us not to worry, and he would take care of us.
Framing and structural portions of the wall behind the stucco were rotted and ultimately had to be reframed, nothing was covered up, Orlando was one of his team leaders and was in constant communication with me anytime they found something I should know about he would text and / or call me with pictures. Working with him and his team was like a breath of fresh air to finally find someone out there that not only did the job right but cared! Hopefully this review makes sense. I normally don’t do reviews, but I felt like I had to in this case because it’s so hard to find a contractor that doesn’t just care but they do the job right and stand behind their work! Could not be happier with our decision to use Buildpros for our bathroom remodel. Rouben (the owner) was very involved, helped us make decisions and even met up with us at a supply store to discuss our options. This was also the only company that we got a quote from that itemized the bill so it was easy to see what we were paying for and where we could save some money.

The crew that worked at our house were very professional and clean. There was open communication throughout the entire project so we knew what was going to be done and were always able to speak to someone if we had any questions. We will definitely use them again for future projects!

We had some serious concerns about the structural integrity of our sunroom supports, and our old gas heater was on their last leg. Build Pros came out, gave us a fair quote, and explained the entire process for both jobs. The structural work was done with great attention to detail using helical piles to support the sunroom in uneven soil, and the new heater works better than the original. It’s hard to find a contractor you can trust with both your heating and your home's foundation, but Build Pros exceeded expectations.

After discovering a shower leak related to improper installation by a prior owner, we realized we likely needed to do a complete remodel of the only full bathroom in our house. We met with a few contractors willing to take on the project, and buildPROS were our first choice for a number of reasons. Rouben (the owner) is knowledgeable, kind, and sincere, and seemed excited to take on our project and work with us. As someone who used to work with spreadsheets and data for a living, I especially appreciated the project spreadsheet that laid out line by line was estimated and real costs were, particularly because we could see what impact design decisions we made had on the bottom line as we progressed. We ended up spending more than we initially thought we would, not because of anything buildPROS did wrong, but because we saw what was actually possible with a team like theirs -- we were able to dream bigger than we thought.

Every single person that came to our house was friendly and professional, and they made valiant efforts to not disrupt our lives any more than they had to. We did not hire a designer but instead made nearly all design choices ourselves, with some inspired additions from Rouben and his team (shout out to the angled shower!). There were some hiccups along the way that were impossible to foresee (for example, notched floor joists that needed to be sistered) but everyone took things in stride and addressed each issue as it came up. We also felt like we could reach out at any point and discuss things that weren't exactly right, and Rouben and his team were really responsive in taking care of any small details that needed fine-tuning.

The end result is a bathroom that we absolutely love. It is better than anything we ever imagined and it has added so much to our home and quality of life. We will be hiring buildPROS again for our next project (a screened porch). Thank you to everyone at buildPROS who worked on this project for us! We appreciate each and every one of you.

HomePro is absolutely awful.
The warranties afforded give you absolutely nothing.
Do not invest in this. We did a mold test, and they performed it in a dry room, while one room over, much more wet, with obvious water stains on the walls was not used. mold discovered just a few weeks later.
Pool inspection was a waste of $$$
AC wasn't working in one zone. Heating not working at all on first floor.
We've had to invest $10Ks since moving in, and so many of these problems SHOULD have been caught by Hank.

We were fortunate enough that Hank was doing our home inspection with us. We are first time home buyers, Hank was very patience and took his time to explain things in a way that made sense to us. He allowed us time to retain the information as well as time to ask questions and did not rush us in any way. He was very knowledgeable and informative.

We just bought out first home. Going into this process we did not know what to expect. I was skeptical with just googling a home inspection company but the ones our realtor referred us to were scheduling appointments over two weeks out. When I called HomePro they were able to schedule us within two days. It turned out to be a great call. Our inspectors, Tony and Jay were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and upfront. Our inspection report was available within just a few days and was very detailed and user friendly. When we had some questions, Hank was very responsive and helpful. HomePro Inspections of Rhode Island, Corp., and their inspector Tony were excellent. The home offer was accepted on a Friday evening, and the company was able to have an inspector (Tony) out on the following Wednesday, even with it being a holiday week. Tony was so friendly and super knowledgeable. I recommend the company's services and will use the company in the future.
