Installed a new Navien combi boilier to replace my old dead bolier and water heater. New Navien works great, and gave me more space in my basement. Bob and his workers solved all my problems and made it easy. They provided high quality, professional service. Thank you very much.

So today was our first really hot day since Bobby and his team installed our new HVAC system.The system Bobby recommend was spot on. It has exceeded all our expectations.We highly recommend R.E. Coogan. Thanks to the wonderful ladies in the office for all their help and all the installers.

My family recently moved to Warwick. We were spoiled because our previous plumber, Mike Zompa, was excellent; however, he only works in the East Bay. So, I called around a bit and thankfully found R.E. Heating. Right from the get-go,
I was impressed. The customer service person who answered the phone was incredibly informative and super friendly. A technician/plumber arrived at our house in about 15 minutes! He, too, was incredibly informative and super friendly. He identified and resolved our heating issue with mind blowing efficiency. On top of that the owner, Robert Coogan, drove to our house to make sure the job was done well and get my feedback. It is a sincere pleasure writing this review as I have rarely experienced this level of excellent customer service!

Highly recommend Coogan HVAC and plumbing. Reliable, efficient, and knowledgeable. We had a system failure 2 weeks before Christmas. They responded quickly and were genuinely concerned about our situation during our time of need. They came quickly, evaluated and ordered parts needed. The job was quick, handled professionally and actually neat! Do not hesitate to consider them for any job.

8 years ago my water heater flooded my basement. RE Coogan came the same day and installed a new one which worked perfectly and never had a problem. So obviously I called him again to install a new one. Laurie in the office is soooo nice, Bob the owner is great and the guys that came to replace my tank were polite, professional, and respectful of the property. E brought down an overly extended exhaust tube, cleaned all the birds nest out of the exhaust & sealed it. All employees very knowledgeable and friendly. From the moment I called Coogan Heating, Air and plumbing I knew this was the company I would have to replace a cracked furnace. Great office staff, workers and big Robert himself! The team was amazing from start to finish, respectful of your home too.

I’ve used this company before based on a referral I received. I contracted Coogan to fix my AC last summer and it took them weeks to figure out what was wrong, order the part and make it back to fix the issue. I asked them to install a Nest thermostat while they were there to repair the AC, they refused and took it upon themselves to install their own thermostat. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I called back earlier this year to give them another shot and have a heating zone added for a bedroom, but never received a call back. This week my AC stopped working so I called them again since they fixed it last summer and are familiar with my AC unit. Once again, I never got a call back. I’ll be looking for another company since RE Coogan has been unreliable after giving them a few chances.

Mr. Coogan, your response speaks volumes about your lack of professionalism. In response to your misinformed feedback below, I asked about the $275 service call fee and for your employee to explain what was included in that cost. She had no information to share other than this is the fee to come to your house. I did not hang up on your employee, she advised that they would call to schedule an appointment (which never happened btw) and the call ended. In reference to the work you completed last summer, I’m pretty confident that’s what your job entails, fixing people’s ac units and heaters in uncomfortable conditions. For your bill, you sent a description of the work you completed but no break down of the labor charges or parts costs so I asked for you to provide more detail on the charges, that’s not an unreasonable ask. It’s likely why you responded defensively and unprofessionally. You only validated my review and why people should look elsewhere for HVAC services.

We have been calling since November 2022 and being told two weeks. We decided to keep trying because they did our installation and originally the service was great, responsive and helpful. Our latest call was three weeks ago and again we were told two weeks, our HVAC is not working and now leaking. Pretty disappointed because it could have been avoided if they followed through.

This review is under my maiden name and it is my husbands name in the system. We have done business with this company. This company installed our Navien unit and has done the necessary maintenance such as descaling since installation. Previous experience with the company was great which is why this year our interaction with R.E. Coogan has been so disappointing.

R E Coogan installed a Navien tankless water heater! Joe and Ben did an outstanding job! Now we have piece of mind knowing that our installation will last many years.

I highly recommend RE Coogan Heating. My air conditioner died days before an expected heat wave. I called 4 HAVC Companies only 2 responded. One, who I had a contract with, could fit me in for a diagnostic in 2 weeks. Another came out and said I needed a new AC and heating system, they could have a quote to me in a week. A family member recommended RE Coogan. I called Bobby on a Saturday. He asked me to send him pictures of my system. He called back and said he would come to look at the job on Monday. He confirmed I needed a new system and ordered the equipment. It was delivered on Tuesday and by Wednesday the installation was completed. Bobby’s crew was experienced, friendly and answered any questions I had. Bobbly called the next day to make sure everything was working. Needless to say I cancelled my heating contract and RE Coogan will be maintaining our new AC/heating system.

We had Coogan Heating install a new Navien heating system 4 years ago. During that time, everything was working perfectly. 2 weeks ago we had no hot water. I called Bob, and he called back that same day. He sent one of his workers the next day we thought the problem was solved but Bob said there were 2 parts that needed to be ordered. When Bob got the parts he came himself to install the 2 new parts.
I am extremely satisfied with Coogan Heating. I would recommend them highly for all your plumbing needs. He really cares about customers!
