We are installing a fence and needed to make sure the propane line underground wouldn't be an issue. The guy that came out was kind and courteous. He explained that since they didn't initially install the tank, there was no way to confirm where the line was, but he offered to move the tank to the side of the house and run a new line same day. Now we can get our fence installed without worrying about the line. I appreciate you guys!

Due to a value accidentally being left on, my 50 gallon propane tank emptied. I called customer service at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and they promptly explained the safety protocol to have the gas lines safety checked for leaks, and the tank refilled and the appliances checked for proper operation. They remained available throughout the process and made an emergency delivery the next day before noon. It should be noted that we do not heat our home with gas, so there wasn't a home heating emergency. Their response and promptness far exceeded my expectations.

Our 4 yr old furnace stopped working on a night that was six degrees out. We have a Petro service plan and called at 5:30 am. They told us someone would be out between 9:30 and 12:30. To our relief the repairman arrived at 7:30. He diagnosed the issue quickly, had the replacement part on hand, and had our heat working quickly. We were very appreciative.

Extremely happy with Petro Oil. Every time I make a call, service is quick and very easy. Not only that, but when someone comes to my home, they are amazing. Very personal, professional and helpful. The last service call was to fix a leak which took 5 minutes. I asked about a shower leak which had nothing to do with Petro but the guy took the time to look at it and make a recomendation. He showed me on his phone exactly what I needed for parts and exactly what I had to do. He did not need to do this. I will be sticking with Petro for life.

EXCELLENT! This was an install at my daughters home. We thought it was going to be quite an ordeal and in fact it was the best choice ever going with Petro Home Services! This company is exceptional in every aspect of what they do. Scheduling a home consultation with Nick Martin, we thought would be weeks out which is the response I got from other companies, Nick was there the next day! He explained in great detail what our options were and how the process would go. Working with Nancy Saballa in the office, such a pleasure to speak with, left messages she gets right back to you, she scheduled everyone involved in this install. The day of the install, contractors were on time, professional, worked so efficiently. The removal of old oil furnace, another contractor comes in to remove the oil tank, while the Petro installers John Hurst & John Nolan are working on installing the new TRANE high efficient gas system. It is something to truly see how smooth this went. All done in one day! Follow up call from the sales consultant Nick to see how the install is going, told him they were done. Call from Nancy in the office to see if we were pleased with the install. MAKE PETRO HOME SERVICES YOUR FIRST CALL. Pricing was point on especially when you see the end result, well worth it.

Quick. Simple. And informative. We were facing the coldest day of winter and we had just ended our last “contract” due to being told that they would not come out and fill our tank unless we paid for it in full up front. When I asked what the reasoning was , I was told “ your last payment (which was the remainder of our balance (340$) was 7 days over due.”
I have 4 children. 3 of which are under the age of 6. And my partner and I work our tails off to give our children the best life possible. So sometimes, between work , sports, school, and life in general, sometimes things get accidentally forgotten.
I tried to explain all of this and got no where. With All of my payments from the past 2 years , I was not late once.
I started to lose faith in all oil companies til I found PETRO…
They have the most polite, professional personnel, and they honestly made everything so much easier.
I could actually explain everything to them and they actually listened and explained everything to me on how everything works when joining.
I STRONGLY recommend this company and plan on using them for many years to come!!

Usually when you walk into our house on a hot day, you're walking into cool comfort. Not this time: returning from a two-day business trip on Friday, I stepped from a hot garage into a hot house. The A/C was not functioning. The fan was running. But the house wasn't cool. Early next day, I phoned the Petro 800 #, for service. Very pleasant chat with customer service. And Petro had someone at the house with a couple of hours ... on what was for them a busy Saturday. Tony found the problem immediately: some insulation in our 3-year-old system had come loose and was blocking the air flow. Unfortunately, that meant the entire system had subsequently iced up; he couldn't finish his check-up until the ice melted. So next day, on Sunday, John from Petro showed up to finish the job ... and spent more than 2 hours checking on everything. Plus I learned a lot from him about how to maintain our system for peak performance. Everyone I spoke with, by phone and in person, was calm, personable and radiated competence. Very pleased.

I noticed a water leak from a bleeder valve first thing in the morning and made a service call. A technician (Steve) was at my door within an hour and a half and got to work. He educated me on my boiler as I'm pretty new to having an oil boiler as he noted another issue to be addressed in the near future. We talked on a couple of concerns I had about hot water and efficiency and he went into great detail on items I could consider. His many years of experience were evident as he could get into great detail on the items were talked about. We talked about a boiler replacement and a secondary hot water tank and he had so much information about what to consider for replacements. He's not only a great tech he could easily work in sales. I had no heat service and cleaning In Afternoon 2 or 3hours later heat off service call at night no part in truck.manager going to call in a.m to approve cost and installation .tried text chat and called service line they told me would be 24 to 48 hours to review.So will be almost 3 days with out heat over a power vent. After near 20 years expected more

My mother had a petro account at her house before her passing last year, when the balance for home hearing oil wasn’t paid they stopped delivering (understandable) When I called to reinstate service the balance on the account was 2100$, 300 of which was late fees. I explained that my mom had passed away and asked if they could subtract the fees from the balance. They refused. I told them NOT to deliver oil to my house because I wasn’t happy with the service and wanted to shop for a better price. Petro sneakily delivered a full tank of oil to my house and charged me $890 for it! Now that there is a balance on my DECEASED MOTHERS account (not mine) they continually call me trying to collect the balance. Even after I’ve requested to be taken off the automatic call list multiple times. What a pathetic company. You would be foolish to do business with them.

We thought we were well prepared and had taken precautions during the record breaking temperatures. We installed Nest thermostats, left cabinets open, left faucets dripping but even dual diligence didn't help. We came home to the furnace needing to be reset and an air valve leaking. I called Petro the next morning and spoke to Diamond. She took down the information and scheduled an appointment for later that day. She was courteous and thorough. Marty came out and took care of everything. He took the time to explain the problem and resolved everything. Thank you both very much! Very impressed. Petro Home Services has good people working for them that care!

I have had their service and furnace & water heater service plans for a little over a year, and I have no complaints. They come when they say, and have fixed everything first time. This is a big thing. I have had two other local companies where they couldn't even clean a furnace without needing to come back at least 2x. I find that the Petro service technicians are top notch. They even came quickly on a weekend to fix my central AC, even though I do not have a service plan on it!

We always have struggled for years with them. Always struggled with getting accurate and consistent information when speaking with customer service. Every agent would give us different information about our smart pay/ monthly payment.

We have had Petro for a few decades to install and maintain our home heating equipment. While their response time for emergency services is acceptable, they’re not quite as good as they used to be when they were a smaller company. This is an issue with most service companies and not necessarily unique to Petro.

Furnace drowned. Naturally, over the holidays. Petro always showed up, no matter the time, courteous and knowledgeable. They installed a new furnace as soon as they could on New Years Eve eve. That drowned too, until the broken sump pump was repaired by a God in the flesh😇. An angel perhaps? Again Petro shows up; a person determined to get her started again. High respect for those with experience and ethics. Pay them more for they are the very backbone of your business. And your long term customer says so. I’ve used this company since 1993.

Called the fire dept because we had an odor of propane. The fire dept confirmed that there was no leak. Customer service said petro has to come out and inspect the tanks. The service tech did not communicate with the fire department that said there wasn’t a leak. They lock out service to the house for no reason. They tell us that the tech that locked out the service does not have clearance to turn it back on and they need to have a different tech come out in the am. This makes no sense to me. The tech that came to the house should have been able to validate the findings of the fire dept and keep the service on. No reason to shut it off if there is not a leak and if you have someone on call that can turn service off why do you not have people on call that can turn service back on?? I will be looking for a new propane service not affiliated with petro in the future.

However, we don’t understand why 84 year-old people have to freeze for three days on the road because the incompetence brought lately by this company and they still charge for maintenance !!!!
I would like to mention that my wife and I were both handicap

I have had Petro Home Services for about three years and they have come through with all the benefits they have offered me. I am on automatic deliveries and have never run out, nor had to have my furnace primed. They have cleaned my furnace and stay for as long as needed. My tank is always tapped off if they judge that I may need oil before the storm. My package deal and price per gallon & insurance were within range. My oil delivery man never complains and is efficient and leaves my receipt in an easy accessible place. Thank you for your service.

Been with Petro for a little bit more than a year and it been great. Every phone call i get an excellent service and the delivery drivers are respectful and have an excellent customer service. I had a X company before getting refills they were asking for the payment up front which was $570 after that I searched online and found Petro Home Services willing to always make your home warm and ask for payment later. Me and my family are always thankful for your support!
