Rob Carlson came highly recommended to me by a friend who washes windows as a side job. Rob features a quality product at a competitive price. The whole installation process was very professional. Rob arrived promptly for each appointment and the project was completed in the time frame he estimated when I signed the contract. Installation time was expedient for the number of windows involved, and I was particularly impressed with the clean way they left the work site. Except for the shiny new windows, you would never guess that Rob and his assistant had been there. I'm very happy with the appearance and the function of these windows.

I have been very satisfied with the work Carlson Siding and Construction has done for me. Rob is very professional, helpful and most importantly honest. His prices are better than most. He has always done an amazing job. He is meticulous and it shows in everything he does. When he is finished with the job there is no evidence he has been working other than my home becoming aesthetically pleasing in the end. We used Carlson Siding & Construction to put up metal siding on our house, Rob came out several times before we decided on which product and colors to purchase. He was understanding and helpful in explaining all the options available and let us know how long it would take once siding was ordered when work would begin. The siding is a superior product and with his help we were able to pick colors to match our bottom brick. There was no pressure to purchase or sign a contract right away, this was only done once we agreed to hire his company. He and his employees/contractors worked the schedule they told us they would, they were reliable, on time and dependable. At the end of the day tools were picked up and all materials and products put away prior to leaving, the outside parameter of the house was left clean during and after installation. He was respectful of our home, bushes, flowers and tress and none were damaged or destroyed while work was done. I would highly recommend Carlson Siding and Construction, I feel he is an honest, trustworthy and very hard working individual with strong work ethics.

I used Carlson Siding several years ago to install new Alside windows, recently broke one and reached out to Rob to come see if he could fix the window, he showed up maybe a day or two later to take a look and was able to replace what was broken, very good service and very knowledgeable, I am planning to replace the siding on my house and using Carlson Siding for the job.

I am the Home Owners Association president for a small, 12 unit condominium building on Capitol Hill in Seattle. We worked with Synapse Construction on a comprehensive exterior renovation to address deteriorating stucco siding, failing roof membrane, misc water intrusion issues, and rotten framing. The project’s scope of work included siding replacement, new windows, new doors, new roof, new deck surfaces and railings, and new flashings and wall penetrations. The work also included extensive rot repair and significant re-framing of structural lumber that was discovered to be rotten. The project budget was over one million dollars.

Synapse was an excellent partner throughout the process. Their communication and project management were effective without being cumbersome. The schedule was well maintained during the course of the project. The full extent of rot was unknown prior to starting the project and Synapse did an excellent job of carefully exposing where rot was found, and systematically addressing it. The cost and schedule impacts of unknown rot repair were effectively conveyed back to the HOA so ownership could make timely decisions.

Synapse deployed a high degree of craftsmanship throughout the project. After install, we utilized an independent, third party window testing agency to check for leaks in the new windows. The new windows passed the leak tests with no issue.

Synapse’s cost to complete the project was fair and comparable to or less than similar contractors who bid on the project. Overall, our experience was good and we would recommend Synapse to other condominium buildings that have exterior construction and waterproofing issues.

Beautiful work siding my new construction house. House is a mix of shou sugi ban, metal, and concrete, and it all came together beautifully. The house looks stunning.

They replaced our leaky single-pane windows with new double-pane windows properly installed without leaks. They worked from the exterior to minimize disruption and did a great job.

Synapse's team was very polite, very hard working, stayed until quite late to finish promptly and made extra sure every aspect was well done, checking in with me early and often. They were very meticulous wih cleanup and protection of adjacent finishes.

Kyle, Konstantine, and his project team resided 2 levels of my contemporary 2009 modern home with Hardie Panel to replace some cedar siding incorrectly and poorly installed by the original contractors. The results were professional with beautiful touch and careful eye for detail.

Everything is done "in-house" ie, his own employees brought the skill to make it happen, except for some waterproofing that we later figured needed to be done to address some incomplete work by the previous contractor, which did impact our planned schedule by an additional 30 days. And he worked very well with the waterproofing contractor: they were able to coordinate seamlessly into the project timeline.

I was taken aback how professional Kyle was throughout the project, and he answered my questions and concerns within 12 hours, and often much sooner (within the hour), even when he was out of town. When we faced a problem, he would let me know asap, then tell me my options, impact to the schedule, impact to cost, and gave me an informal risk analysis if I were to ignore the problem and let him continue as we originally planned.

And there was the issue where my newly installed garage door was accidently dinged during construction. I mentioned I would have been happy if he just popped the ding out, but he went above and beyond and had my garage door panel completely replaced with a new panel. Clearly he didn’t have to do it, but he took all responsibility for it and took the lead in making sure I was absolutely happy and that it wouldn’t happen again. That tells me the kind of true professional Kyle is.

Communication, options, skill, and attention to detail. I have been very happy with the work done, and I currently have plans to use Synapse Construction on a second siding project in the near future.
