I recently had a mixed customer experience with Howe, Inc. On the positive side, I truly appreciated the quick response and installation of my new HVAC system, especially during peak hot temperatures. Your team’s prompt action made a difficult situation much more manageable.

That said, my follow-up experience had some challenges and presented opportunities where the service could have been stronger. I did, however, appreciate that Howe, Inc. took the time to reach out afterward to make amends.

Overall, while the experience had ups and downs, I recognize and value the efforts your team made both during the installation and in following up.

I used Howe to install a garage heater. It was quick and quality work. Kyle and Jeremy are true professionals. Howe is a solid 5 star.

Chad and the team at Howe were fantastic to work with. Had an issue with my previous furnace and they came out and took care of it. I will always go back to Howe for my HVAC and plumbing needs because they really care about making it right with the customer when things happen.

I called Howe to set up an appointment for a basic fall furnace service and to address a few concerns I had. The technician took the time to listen to my questions and explained everything in detail, which I really appreciated. After completing the service, he also talked with me about the age of my furnace and what I might expect in the future. By the time he left, I felt confident and had all my questions answered. Very friendly, very helpful—I’ll definitely call Howe again in the future.

Howes Heating and Air is the best in Sioux Falls. My furnace quit working and it’s 18 years old. I thought for sure it needed to be replaced, but Kyle and Mike both looked at it and figured out a small problem after looking at the furnace itself and checking outside the house.They were persistent and found out what the problem was. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Howe is wonderfully responsive, professional, and efficient. My outdoor spigot broke and flooded my finished basement. They came the following day. Seth fixed it quickly. A week or so later, a hot water heater would no longer spark on. They gave me an accurate estimate over the phone. Again, the next day, Evan came out another fellow delivered the hot water heater they both worked together to bring the heater safely downstairs. As soon as possible, the 2 safely brought the defunct heater so they could cart it away. My oh my, showers are nice now! Thank you, Howe! Your company is my go-to! I even had gorgeous Moen bathroom fixtures installed in 2 bathrooms!
Even though we had a sump pump installed and it was working, we still had a leak in our utility room. Joel from Howe trouble shot he checked where hoses were, if it was coming from the furnace. He dried the spot with a towel and proceeded with figuring out where the problem stemmed from. He checked hoses, cracks in foundation,he suggested concrete caulk cracks, but he appeared to have found the culprit when he placed a level on a downspout and it was angled toward the house. Great work, Joel!! Howe installed a new HVAC system in 1 day after my previous HVAC leaked and rusted out! The team work from 5 men with 2 men as leaders was spectacular. Afterwards, Howe sent appreciation cookies.

Water heater decided to spring a leak on a late Friday afternoon. Of course after closing hours!
Dillon was the on call person at Howe, Dillon was amazing! He was here promptly after I called and got everything checked out so I could have peace of mind. Unfortunately I have to wait until Monday for replacement install. Dillon did a great job!

From phone call to having service done, Howe was very prompt and professional. My furnace hadn't been working correctly; Alex and Kyle came right over after getting off the phone with their dispatch and got to figuring it out right away! Turned out my ECM blower motor was shot. They gave me the quote, went to go get the part from their shop, and got the repair done all within a couple hours. They were very friendly and professional and were able to help out with my home warranty. Thanks, fellas! I'll be looking you guys up again if anything else go awry!

I’m so thankful that they made room to come over on such short notice! We needed an urgent repair done and they were able to send someone the same day. Hayden did a wonderful job and was very professional and explained everything so well. Highly recommend Howe!

William and Dylan and the gentleman that helped with the dryer vent did excellent work showed up on time and were very professional. The work was done in a very timely and efficient manner. I’d recommend their services elsewhere.

Our HVAC unit stopped working and Jared from Howes was amazing. He found the problem quickly, explained what was wrong, and fixed it without any hassle. Honest, efficient, and professional service. I’ll definitely use Howes again

Jeremy worked on our humidifier and did great work. He patiently explained the issue to me and gave us the options for repair. He completed the work and was able to show me what had been wrong with our system.

Jeremy is a great guy and an asset for Howe.

Dillon was very professional and answered all my questions down to the very details. He is very professional and so is the work he did. I’ve been looking for a long time for an honest company to have work on my home and Dillon made Howe my number 1 favorite. Would recommend all day every day. Keep up the good work. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Harrison was amazing this early morning! I called 24 hr emergency and Harrison called me back within 30 minutes, and got us up and warm again within an hour or so! I'm very impressed with the quietness that he also brought when he was here! I would recommend them all the time! I called 2 other places and I'm still waiting to hear back, ugh! Thanks so much Harrison!!!!!!

Our furnace went out on the coldest day of the year.
We called Howe as soon as they opened and we had Alex at our house within an hour.
Alex worked on troubleshooting, replacing parts and ultimately fixing the furnace in a professional and timely manner.
We appreciate the prompt and professional service provided by Alex and Howe Heating!

Hayden from Howe, Inc. Plumbing was fantastic. He came out after 5 PM, was quick and extremely careful, and took the time to find the source of a leak and repair it properly. He was kind, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. Overall, just a really good job and a great experience. I’d definitely recommend him and Howe, Inc.

First called another company..they were rude said MAYBE they would call us back later.
Called Howe and they had someone out in 15 minutes..new hot water heater installed within just a couple hours. Dillon did an amazing job, friendly, courteous and professional.
Would highly recommend Howe based on the customer experience ALONE.

When I first contacted Howe regarding a plumbing question (sewer smell in master bathroom) Brian proved expert advice on some things that I could try.
He was very courteous, patient, and knowledgeable

Later when I needed a house visit, Dylan and Cody conducted a thorough diagnostic assessment including smoking the pipes to detect possible leaks. I was really impressed with Dylan and Cody. Very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I am a firm advocate of strong customer service and Howe certainly delivered through their awesome staff. Plumber came out and was friendly and very neat and organized. Ran runners to keep the floor clean and covers on his shoes. It was a big job and had to be inspected. He got it inspected , finished and showed me everything he did. Explained the warranty. Dude was a professional all the way. High quality. Would recommend.

Water heater was leaking so I was able to text in and set up an appointment. They were able to send Dillon out same day to replace the unit. The team was super friendly and informative. They had it removed and the new one installed in an hour, they took the time to explain proper maintenance and warranty information on the new water heater.

All things considered it was a great experience. They have earned my business going forward!!!
