Needed an engineer to make sure our new screened in deck supports were built properly. Called and spoke with Moti who was very helpful and had me scheduled in days with a letter in my hand a day later! Very responsive and professional.

Jorge was very precessional and punctual. He explained everything that we needed to do now took pictures and sent the photos very nice person I would recommend him to anyone that needs to know how to repair the foundation of the home.

I reached out to EEI about inspecting a crawlspace for additional support. EEI provided great service, was informative, and provided a detailed scope of work needed. Will definitely use again!

EquaGen is a company full of professional engineers who are timely and effective. They provided the quickest service I have ever had. They went above and beyond to get a re-inspection report back to us in time to make it to the closing table. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for results. Working with EEI was a great experience. We are remolding a master bedroom and closet in our historical 1910's home. EEI did a thorough inspection of our space and explained their findings in terms we could understand. When the engineer left, we had a clear understanding as to what would make our space structurally safe and sound. We received detailed plans within a week as promised.

We needed an assessment of our footings for our deck and enclosed porch, and within 24 hours of contacting Moti, someone was at our house performing the inspection. We received the assessment report in a timely manner, so we could provide the county inspection's department. Moti and his team at EEI were very professional and friendly, I would recommended EEI!

Disappointed. Do not recommend. We selected this company because we are on a time crunch for closing on a home. They told us that while we would have to wait several days for an engineer to come out on site, we would have a report the same week. The engineer was not able to answer any questions or provide any information while on site Monday. He simply took photos to bring back to the chief engineers. It is Friday and now they tell us we have to wait until next week for the report. This service is very expensive so I am really disappointed that they did not stick with the promised timeline. We need the results of the engineer inspection in order to decide if we need to continue with our home search. Time is of the essence and this company did not stick to their word. I tried calling the office and I was sent to voicemail. I am assuming they all left office early today to start off their weekend early rather than completing our report as expected. I do not recommend this company. I’ll update my review if necessary once we get the report.

We were fortunate enough to work with Moti directly and the experience was absolutely fantastic. He was thorough and professional as well as being responsive to questions and necessary revisions.

The price was exceptionally reasonable and for the quality of work we received, it was an absolute bargain. We simply could not be happier with our experience as we pursue that open kitchen concept floor plan.

If you’re looking for an engineer I can not recommend this company any more. You will not be disappointed!

EEI sent an assistant who was not a PE on site. The report recommended piers that a local contractor advised not to place (despite the fact that they were in the business of selling piers). I was intrigued, and got a second opinion from a more reputable local engineering firm (priced the same as EEI, by the way), which agreed with the contractor’s assessment. According to that contractor, notwithstanding the current Google reviews, EEI actually has been developing a poor reputation around town. The second opinion report (took the same number of business days to generate) was significantly different from EEI’s report. My experience supports that EEI is no faster, cheaper or more accurate than other local firms.

EEI sent a young structural engineer from NCState, Jorge Aquas, to my home to assess a dire situation with my cracking basement (foundation) wall. I was a little nervous as Jorge seemed so young (I must be getting old!) but Jorge was as thorough as he possibly could be, made drawings of the cracks, took photographs inside and out, and produced a report with recommendations within a week. I would unequivocally recommend him for his professionalism and calm demeanor.

I highly recommend EEI. I closely work with Jorge. He helps me with projects and collaborates with all my clients that require any type of structural work or plans for city approvals. I strongly suggest you reach out to Jorge, he is very detailed oriented and has very accurate drawings and inspections.

I hired EEI Engineering to inspect the removal of wall in a half bath to install a shower stall. I paid $825 for inspection and report on Nov 19, 2024. I have not received a report despite several calls and emails. I had to hire another structual engineer to complete project and pass inspection. I would caution anyone using EEI for residential inspection.

In this day and age it is very hard to find a professional business that still takes the time to do the extra things for their customers. There is not enough I can say about Jorge Aguas . As a Contractor , he fully understands my needs and time schedule when working on projects. Both him and Rabin Ojha Have been wonderful to work with and I absolutely recommend their services. I sure will be continuing to work with them myself no doubt!

Hired EEI Engineering to perform structural analysis and make recommendations for bathroom remodel involving removal of a structural wall and installation of a large freestanding tub. Jorge Aguas did the analysis, he was personable and professional, though the process. His work was meticulously performed and the recommendations were very clear. Overall very pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend this company.
