I personally recommend Southern Grove construction. They have the best team to get the job done right. They are loyal, very professional and nice.. always having a great smile on their faces. I can honestly say that if I need anything in the future, I know who I can call.!

Matt did two roofs for me within a span of two years. The second one resulted from a large oak tree falling on the house during a storm abd he had crews there on the day of the loss repairing and tarping the damaged roof. He’s always been responsive and tends to my needs any time I call.

I have not personally had any work done by Adam and Matt, but I have known the Hoover men almost my entire life. Not only is their work probably the best in Chattanooga, but their desire to please their customers, competitive pricing and quality of work is beyond impressive. ALL of the work that they do is literally second to NONE. they are fair, reliable and their work is always consistent.

the best part of Adam and Matt, though, is their HEARTS, and their desire to serve their hometown and surrounding community. they came thru after the tornadoes in April 2020 and offered free consults (as I am sure they do anyway) AND did a lot of work for people just to help them salvage what was left of their properties, FOR FREE. without any question or hesitation, they were out in all of the mess THE NEXT DAY helping people in any way they could, and that alone speaks volumes. they weren't going out there to try and gain business during the tragedy or taking advantage of people during one of the scariest and potentionally most devastating times of their lives. they went out there with their hearts, to do what they love and to offer a genuine, honest helping hand to anyone they could.

their work is outstanding, and their attention to detail on EVERY project they take on is incredible, just beautiful. if they don't have the most experience or skill in something that needs to be done, you can bet that they are doing their due diligence and will find the best man/team for the job, while still learning themselves as they supervise. they are very hands on and have no problem jumping in to work on a job, and not just act as the contractor.

YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED WITH ANYTHING THESE GUYS DO. THEY WILL WORK ON YOUR HOME WITH THE SAME HEART, SKILL AND ATTENTION THEY WOULD PUT INTO THEIR OWN HOMES. I CAN PROMISE THAT THEY WILL LEAVE A PIECE OF THEIR HEART IN NEARLY EVERY PROPERTY/PROJECT THEY TOUCH, WHETHER THEY MEAN TO OR NOT. ITS JUST WHO THEY ARE, THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST. I reached out to Southern Grove Construction to assist with some painting needs at my restaurant (Golden Corral) in Fort Oglethorpe. Adam and his team were quick to respond to my request, and friendly and professional all along the way. I had several leaks and the roofing team made sure to inspect every inch of my roof and replaced all the rotted wood to ensure I wouldn't have anymore leaks. Matt made sure to double check with me after the first hard rain to make sure nothing was leaking. The roofers were very courteous and made sure to clean up every piece of trash in my yard afterwards, very professional!

Matt H is super responsive and attentive. His crew were very efficient, friendly, and did a fantastic job on the roof and cleaning up after taking down the original roof.

As a Local Media Personality I am asked (and Paid) to endorse many products and services. I am excited to voluntarily share how pleased we are with Southern Grove Construction. Tasked with replacing our back deck, Adam and Matt have FAR exceeded our expectations. I firmly believe that the craftsmanship that has gone into our deck is 2nd to none. (You could probably land LifeForce Helicopters on our deck!) From the planning, to the careful removal of the old deck (without damaging my wife's flower garden or greenhouse) to the design and build of our new structure-they have been attentive, professional, courteous and delivered what they promised. Their careful and keen eye for detail actually led to the discovery of a water leak we (apparently) have had for quite some time. Now we can't wait to see how they complete our Master Bathroom Remodel! I can't recommend Southern Grove Construction any more strongly. Call them......and then entrust your project with them.

Matt Hoover is a very responsive and personable contractor. Our new roof is beautiful. Although we had some additional leaks after the installation, Matt and his team were on the spot. The roof was fixed to our satisfaction and the interior damage was repaired, all at their expense. Our roof is quite complicated with lots of gables, chimney flashings, and valleys, and Matt was persistent In getting it right. Highly recommend!

We contacted Southern Grove to build a deck overlooking our new outdoor space. There were a few hiccups along the way, but Adam came through and we are pleased with the finished product. Thank you.

Southern Grove completed an addition of a two car garage to my existing garage. The effort provided us with covered parking for three cars and a workshop.

Southern Grove is a true one-stop-shop provider. Our process started with a team member completing the plans/drawings of our project for permitting and HOA approval requirements. A fair bid and proposed timeline was provided upon completion of the drawings.

The construction effort was managed daily by our on-site project manager. I was truly impressed that the project manner was responsive to all requests and concerns noted throughout the effort. Our construction site remaind clean throught the process and was completed, above expectation, on time and budget.

I highly recommend Southern Grove Construction and will utilize their services for our future interior remodeling needs.
