I have worked with Robert Rook on multiple projects for 15 years and on every level it was a great experience. Punctual, fair, honest, knowledgeable and reliable are but a few of the terms I would use to describe Robert and his crew.
Our first experience was a full bath remodel with zero entry shower, custom vanity and cabinets as well as new plumbing and tile work. Robert handled it all and along the way made suggestions that not only improved the vision we had for the area but the job came ahead of schedule and under budget.
Some months later we did a full kitchen remodel and the results were outstanding. Granite counter tops and backsplash, redesigned lighting, kitchen garden window and reconfiguration of counter peninsula to kitchen island with Roberts insight and craftsmanship created a dream kitchen.
We were so impressed with the kitchen that granite was extended to the family room base cabinets and the bar. The crowning touch was new hardwood floors throughout that greatly enhanced both function and visual appeal.
Over the years there were several other projects, always on time, professionally done and very price competitive.
I cannot speak highly enough of the skill and expertise Robert Rook brings to a job and would gladly rate him above 5 stars if I could.

As the wife of Robert Roberts, the owner of Robert Roberts LLC, I’ve had a front-row seat to the dedication and passion he pours into every commercial project. Watching him lead his team, I’m continually amazed by his commitment to excellence. Robert and his crew recently completed a large office complex renovation, and the results were stunning—modern, functional spaces delivered on time and within budget. From my perspective, what sets Robert Roberts LLC apart is their integrity; Robert ensures every client is kept in the loop with clear communication and no surprises. His team’s craftsmanship, from structural work to polished finishes, is always top-tier, and they maintain a clean, safe job site. I’m incredibly proud of the professionalism and care they bring to every commercial project. Five stars for Robert Roberts LLC!

this company sucks from a subcontractors point of view. they dont pay on time and we had to contact the owner of the building to get paid. we finished the project before receiving one penny.

Working with J C Curtis has been a rewarding experience from their professionalism, to the ability to keep cool during the imperfect moments of the construction industry.

Extremely competent in project management, efficiency in coordination and completion of multiple projects. Support staff goes above and beyond in dealings with subcontractors.

I have been working with JC Curtis the past few months and have had a very good experience. Jill Abens has been easy to work with and I have had no issues. Emails are answered promptly and phone calls are returned.

I'm a sheetrock subcontractor out of Louisiana and worked on a Love's Truck Stop project. I've read some of the negative reviews posted and will have to disagree, with some of the post written. Being a subcontractor as, well, I did found, that there are few challenges in the paperwork. However, Jill A. assistant acct. manager was more then willing to assist in the process. Jill A. went above and beyond to ensure that everything was is place and that we recieved our invoice paid in a timely manner. Great follow up and did exactly what she said she would. To all my Subs, if you educate and make sure you know, what will be asked of you. Before and after the project, you shouldn't have any problems. One other thing, shout out to Rodney forman on the job very patient and just a great guy to work with.

    Thanks,
    Paul S.

I can’t speak to the quality of their construction. However, I can speak to the quality of the individual(s) they employ - one in particular. JC Curtis is currently remodeling a building on the same street as my work. My work is a retail location in a highly trafficked area with street parking only. JC Curtis, for the past two months, has taken over half of the street parking for their employees. I understand the necessity of reaching tools and other important items. However, after being observed firsthand and via camera footage only 1 of the spots being taken is actually needed. The other spots, which directly block multiple small businesses - including their direct business front, are just there so the employees don’t have to walk so far. 🙄

The company has repeatedly, and without warning, closed both the street and sidewalk, left said sidewalk filled with trash, and as of today a site supervisor made a comment about our business and customers not being as important as his deadline. When asked if the week before Christmas it was possible to only use the one needed spot (4 days of work would be affected for them but could be paramount for a small business) the supervisor responded with “They’d be better off supporting Walmart anyway.” So, in his way of thinking I guess we’d be better off supporting another company. Shame on this individual for being so rude to several small business owners.

It has been a pleasure working will JC Curtis Construction. They do have some tricky paperwork, but Jill Abens has helped me every step of the way. She offers to check over everything before I submit the final copies and always gets back to me quickly when I have any questions or concerns. She seems to genuinely care about the people she is working with and tries very hard to make the process as smooth as possible. This is our second time working with them and we hope to continue to do future projects with them.

We just completed a Love's project as an Electrical Contractor and it has been a great experience. This was the first Project with the company and yes the Pay Application process was a bit confusing. However, Jill who is the office manager was remarkable with assistance me. She was always available to assist with whatever questions I had. We were paid per the terms of the contract as. I look forward to working with this company on future projects and would highly recommend the company to others.
