Wow…where to begin?!
Bob Key was reliable, timely, outgoing, personable. Rates are reasonable and within market rate.
We had 5 stumps ground down, took all of maybe 45-60 minutes. Ground to around 12-15” BELOW ground level. Bob also filled in the holes, leveled and raked the site afterwards.
While this is the first and only time I’ve ever had stumps ground, I think anyone would be VERY hard pressed to have a better customer experience. If you need this service Key Stump Grinding should be at the TOP of your list.

I highly recommend Key Stump Grinding. We called them to take care of a stump that was in our front yard ever since we moved in a year ago. He quickly ground it down and chased the roots that were poking above ground as well. He also did five more smaller stumps in the back yard and made quick work of it all. He does excellent work at a very reasonable price.

We've been using Bob for several years as we have been cleaning up a property that we purchased. One of the nicest people you will ever meet and always does fantastic work. Highly recommend for any size stump you are needing to get up.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Key Stump Grinding. Bob, the owner, was able to provide a quote remotely (through pictures), showed up earlier than scheduled, and completed the job with precision and thoroughness. I had several stumps very close to the foundation and fence that he removed with ease, just centimeters from the fence! Also had to maneuver the grinding machine through a 46” gate to the backyard and down a slope. The best thing about Bob, however, is his professionalism and care. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing, answered all of my questions with the patience of a saint, and is just simply a good steward of the community. For someone who is limited on time and financial resources (we just had a baby!), I couldn’t have been more appreciative of Bob and his business.

Total cost: $400 for about 20 stumps of various sizes and difficulty.

Professional master at his craft. Timely and efficiently removed my stump problems but cleaned up my old cut pieces setting in his way on top of stumps. Cost of labor involved, beyond worthy of price quoted. I enjoyed speaking with him as well. Goodly man, that knows what he is doing.

We had an emergency where an enormous old stump was discovered underneath the location where we were scheduled to have our new concrete driveway poured the next day, and within a couple of hours Bob Key was out at our location the same afternoon and took care of our problem with his state of the art, remote controlled stump grinder! The most professional business i’ve ever worked with. Great estimate with a site visit after hours. Mr. Key came out the very next day and completed the entire job. Bob came out quickly to give estimate on multiple tree stumps of various diameters and gave a fair price so we set up a time for that Saturday. He arrived with another man and a second machine and they got to work immediately.He ground the 10 stumps and through in 2 for free! We had 19 stumps in our backyard ranging from 5" to 47". Bob came and cleared all of them in about two hours. Great price, reliable, and he did a great job! We definitely recommend him.
