Justin and his team were highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly people. His team was very efficient in removing our tree as well as fairly priced. Hands down would recommend this company. They went above and beyond all expectations! I wouldn't even waste your time getting quotes from someone else because Justin and his team will beat it with their prices and quality of work! If I could give more stars I would.

I had recently bought a house with about 10 trees in the front yard that were not taken care of. I called Hard Knot and within 30 minutes I had Justin show up to look at them and give me an estimate on how much it would run me to remove them. Him and his wife were patient and kind and willing to take their time to educate me on what they recommended. Justin was able to work out a payment plan with me and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. On the day of service they worked fast and immediately cleaned up their mess and then some. Even put my mailbox back better than before! They even cut down some other old stumps on my property that had continued to grow and trimmed some other trees FOR FREE! 10/10 recommend and will be back for all future projects I may need!

Justin and his team have been wonderful. They are professional, work incredibly hard & are extremely knowledgeable. We’ve had them remove a total of 3 trees from our yard and they have done an amazing job - start to finish (including reassembling our gate & clean-up down to the last leaf.) I hired Hard Knot Tree Service to remove three large, dead trees from my yard. Justin came out the same day I called to give me a quote. The quote was much more reasonable than other tree services I had contacted. I signed a contract with Hard Knot Tree Service the same day. Justin gave me a start date and end date, and both were met. Justin and his crew were very professional. They worked through rain, sleet, snow, and ice to cut down my trees. When they were done, they hauled the wood away and replaced fencing that had to be taken down during the tree removal process. I was extremely impressed with their hard work and professionalism. Hard Knot Tree service was one of the top recommendation when we took to Facebook looking for tree removal. Justin reached out came to our home listen to my concerns. He not only listened but made a few suggestions as well. we would recommend this veteran own company again and again. He reached out the day of service to let us know of the weather concerns and what the equipment would do to our yard. Postpone his service. and they showed and got the job done. They are professional, kind and dedicated workers. You can tell they enjoy what they do!

Justin and his team recently removed two large trees from my back yard. One tree had been nearly toppled during a recent storm and was arching precariously over the back of my storage shed. The other tree was larger still but, unfortunately, dying.

I was given a reasonable quote for the work. They arrived when they said they would, and did and outstanding job.

The whole team was professional and quite skilled at their jobs. They also cleaned the site well.

Anytime I need tree service in the future, Hard Knot is who I will call. You would do well to call them also if you need expert tree service.

I definitely recommend these guys. They are very professional, polite and thorough. They did a fantastic job cutting down 2 of our trees. You can tell they like what they do and are proud of their work. They did a great job cleaning up after as well. Kept us informed. The day the came was one of the hottest days we we’ve had. I think the heat index was 109. But they worked through it. They did end up coming back another day once the heat wave passed to finish up and do the last bit. Such a great company. We will definitely be contacting them again for any of our tree needs.

We had two trees removed and one tree trimmed. Justin and his crew did an awesome job, everyone knew what to do and did it. I had never seen a tree service function like this one. I know why they have a buff squirrel on their shirts. No bucket trucks they climb and cut limbs. The real test was the large oak tree shown in the pictures. It was extremely close to the house and utility lines. They were able to remove the branches and drop the tree with no problems. I know who I'm going to call if I need a tree service again plus they were substantially under the other bids.

They were very professional, timely and safe. They cleaned up afterwards better than it was when they arrived. They went the extra mile setting wood aside for me to split later. They even removed a few trees that I was supposed to do before they came, but due to family situations I was not able to do. I wouldn't call anyone else. Thank you Justin!

We contacted Justin and his team late one night about a tree that landed on our house after a wind storm. They showed up early the following morning and had all the necessary safety equipment and were extremely professional. Prior to the work starting, Justin met with me and went over the necessary documents and explained the process. They took great care to not damage anything throughout the process and were completely done and cleaned up within 3 hours. Excellent service and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal services.

This is Veteran owned business and it shows. I’ve gotten nothing, but respect from the owner and his crews. All of the 5 stars are real. I was skeptical at first, but when the business is this good I had to give it 5 stars too. I had a tree fall on my fence, and they were booked for about 2 days out. Then I got a call 30 minutes later saying they were wrapping up some booked appointments. They do indeed work quickly and efficiently. I had an issue with my gate not widening enough and they told me it’s fine they’ll find a way to work around it, which made me even more impressed about how quickly the job got done. I highly recommend this company for anyone who needs tree services.

There's a reason they have a 5 star review. Hard Knot Tree Service was so easy to work with. We had gotten a couple of quotes from other businesses, but right away when Justin came out he was matter of fact and gave a fair quote. The crew showed up and went to work immediately. They were so professional! We've had to take down trees in the past and had what we thought were ok experiences, but working with this crew we were thoroughly impressed. The crew put together the swing set that had to be disassembled for the job and cleaned up completely before they left. Our yard looks better than it did before they showed up. We don't have any other trees that would need work, but we'll be recommending Hard Knot Tree Service to everyone we know.

Justin and his crew are absolutely amazing. Safety is their #1 priority. They work hard to get the job done. They cut down 4 trees and cleaned out 3 trees. They did a fantastic job. We are lining up a second job for him, another 4 trees to go down. He walked our yard and told us the name of every tree in our yard and told us about each one of them. He even gave us advice on what trees to plant and what part of our yard to plant them. He is a young company, with his knowledge and professionalism his company will grow. Hard Knot Tree Service is run by Justin Julian with his wife, Jenna. I am 71 years old and I have never experienced a company operated as professionally and proficiently as this one. Believe me at 71 a person uses many contractors for different projects over the years. I lived in California 53 years. I hired a California arborist. California arborists do not work like Hard Knot Tree. Other Tennessee arborists do not work like Hard Knot Tree.
Justin and his crew work together as a team to get the job done and leave the project tidy. Justin and his men are respectful of the client and the client’s property. Justin will answer all your questions and assuage any doubts or concerns you have.
During the March storm in Clarksville, I had nine trees fall on a chain link fence and a 100+ foot oak split. One half fell on my fence and the other was trying to fall on my house! Justin worked quickly to get the leaning “death tree” down and saved my home and me. We had follow up wind and rain. The death tree was ready to crush anything in its’ way.
After the project was finished, most contractors forget you’re a customer. Hard Knot Tree Service does not forget. Justin and Jenna have worked diligently and patiently with me and my insurance company. I’ve been with my insurance company 43 years and they do not respect tenure in their clients. I have gotten nothing but arguments and denials from my insurance company. Justin has been amazingly understanding and continues to patiently wait for resolution.
As long as I live in Tennessee, I will never use another arborist for tree issues.
I need a fence repair company. Unfortunately Justin does not work on fences!😊
