I am now on my 5th tile remove and replace engagement with Wilkerson Tile including two (2) full masonry tile showers and three (3) hybrid fiberglass & tile bathrooms. I was initially drawn to this company in early 2020 because they are the ONLY tile installer in the local area that provides a lifetime warranty on their work. I have been 100% satisfied with their best in class craftsmanship and professionalism of the entire staff. I now have a 6th engagement scheduled with Wilkerson Tile this month and have high expectations based upon their excellent performance and track record.

I had a wonderful experience with Wilkerson Tile. Their team respected my home, were extremely professional with my family and completed the job in the timeline presented when I signed the contract. I was blown away with their attention to detail and their thoughtful approach of laying out the designs of my shower and kitchen back-splash. The craftsmanship of the work is true quality. If I need any tile work in the future, I now have a company I can trust.

We recently selected Wilkerson Tile for replacement of our existing tile in the kitchen, laundry and master bathroom. We are very pleased with the results. Richy was great to work with and the crew was courteous, skilled and made sure they stayed on schedule. If there were any questions, they were answered promptly. We have already recommended Wilkerson Tile to several friends based on the quality of the tile product, workmanship and manner in which the work was done. – The rest of the story is that Richy provided an estimate for the original work that we did about six years ago. The estimates were close but we ultimately chose a competing company. Unfortunately, the work and product did not meet expectations and cracking of multiple tiles continued to occur. That company did NOT honor their commitments to correct the issues. Richy had said that if he could ever help to call on him. We did and he made sure the replacement work was done correctly! Sure wish we had selected Wilkerson Tile the first time!. –

From job scope and component selection to finish punch list, the Wilkerson team shared impeccable attention to detail and ease of making our dream a reality. Mid course adjustments that were needed were handled easily. The quality of the finishes and fixtures are top notch. The communication and coordination of the trades was flawless. Each trade was courteous, knowledgeable, perfectionist, took pride in their work, and even cleaned up after themselves!
Yes, the multi week process is disruptive, but Richy and team did a good job of managing our expectations, so no surprises. I highly recommend Wilkerson Tile for your remodel project regardless of scope. You will not be disappointed!

We recently hired Wilkerson Tile to complete our bathroom/laundry room project. They did tile, schluter trim, wood trim, plumbing, and electrical work to complete our shower and wall-to-wall tile with accessories, toilet, vanity, mirror, etc. Every aspect of their work was excellent quality craftsmanship with experts performing each part of the remodelling job. I met with Richie and he provided a reasonable estimate for everything we needed. They did not stop until we were satisfied. I have been researching tile remodelling intensely before the project started and the end result was very precise and beautiful. We highly recommend Wilkerson Tile and would definitely hire them again!

We absolutely LOVE the new limestone floors Richie and his team installed in our kitchen. While not everything went perfect during the project, Richie responded quickly and appropriately to every challenge. He is of high character and we would definitely use them again.

Our master bathroom was stuck in the early 80's and in much need of a facelift. After meeting the folks from Wilkerson Tile at the Chattanooga Home Show, we knew we would be calling them for an estimate. Their estimate turned out to be very fair and we knew immediately the project would be handled by experienced and knowledgable workmen. They have an amazing selection of beautiful tile to choose from. A huge difference in their selection compared to the large home improvement stores. The entire project is complete and I couldn't be happier! Special thanks to Richy, Don & Buster. With my vision and their expertise, our bathroom is now Pintrest worthy!

We are thrilled with our shower re-installation. Background: we had our bathroom remodeled a year ago and noticed some hairline cracks near the bottom of the shower walls about 6 months after we started using it. We called the original contractor, who claimed it was due to settling, which according to our contract would mean he is not responsible for any repair. Further investigation suggested the cracks were due to lack of waterproofing, which he vehemently denied. Long story short, after a complaint to the licensing board and an attorney's involvement, he agreed to pay us to have Wilkerson tile re-do the repairs that his team had done incorrectly (wrong color grout, more of a long story).

Richy Wilkerson knows his stuff- when his team started the repairs anew, they found that the only waterproofing in the shower was installed incorrectly. We already had water damage to the framing, not even a year after the initial installation was complete!

Due to these findings, we ended up re-installing the entire shower. They use the Schluter Kerdi system, which apparently takes a lot of the guess-work out of the waterproofing process, but because the guys have been doing this for decades, they were able to adjust the installation to accommodate some idiosyncrasies of our 100-year-old house. You don't get that kind of experience from just anyone.

Richy Wilkerson and his team are extremely knowledgeable. He and I had a nice chat about the Tile Council of North America (I went down a rabbit hole) and he takes pride in being an expert in his craft. I highly recommend them to anyone needing tile work done. It's worth the wait and any (potential) minimally higher initial cost to have the job done right the first time.

4 - I would go back

We used Home Depot this summer for a carpet replacement thinking it would be the most convenient option. We are several weeks past the initial install and still waiting on them to come fix it. The people they sent to us did not sew the seams properly, nor did they use an actual carpet stretcher. Within days of install we found places where we could lift the carpet up. It's a shoddy job through and through. To add to this, we have been given the run around for weeks now about fixing it. Yes, everyone is polite. Yes everyone assures us to our face they will get it done immediately and how they are so sorry. But there is excuse after excuse and we are still sitting here with all our stuff in boxes waiting to unpack because the carpet needs to be fixed. This experience has been many things but convenient is not one of them.

ATTENTION all potential customers!

If you are even thinking about using Home Depot to install ANYTHING, stop now and look some where else. I am not one to complain and I am pretty forgiving, but this company has pushed me over the edge. We were suckered into the $500 install with purchase of flooring. They tried to stick us with every little thing they could to rack up the price.
They tried to get us to agree to a $5500 bill when the total cost was less than $2500. Every time we called we were put on hold, then told someone would call us back.....The sub sub contractors customer service was even worse. The women there were out right rude and acted as if we were "bothering them."
We ordered laminate and vinyl for the house and they sent us way too much materials and made us jump through hoops to be reimbursed. They sent us the wrong transitions which we will have to wait for another few weeks for them to arrive. They even charged us for some crappy dust mop that we did not order.
Long story short, just go somewhere else.
