RetroFoam and Eddie Sanford's crew provided us with professionalism and were highly respectful toward the unique properties of our older home. We have had the opportunity to experience cold and hot weather since having the insulation completed, and we can tell an enormous difference within the home. We no longer have random cold or hot zones in the rooms. We also feel our heating and air are operating at greater efficiency. We expected the insulation benefits however, we are also amazed at the sound buffer qualities that it provides.

Eddie’s guys did a fantastic job putting foam insulation in my existing attic space. They were thorough, super clean and careful, came back to double check their work, and ensured everything they did met with my approval. They showed up on time, kept to their estimate, and were incredibly professional and courteous in every interaction. I couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend them.

My house has zero insulation and I had light bills averaging 375.00 a month. Last year vs this year, my light bill cut in half. They guys did a great job, no mess or any issues. I had a crew come out to install Retrofoam into three walls. The plan was that the crew would drill 2 1/2 inch holes between each stud, spray in the foam, and plug the holes. I would then do the work of finishing the drywall with joint compound. I had to leave just before the work was complete. When I returned, I discovered that the crew utilized Styrofoam discs to plug each hole and then applied fiberglass tape to the outside of the hole. I was not comfortable using Styrofoam plugs to repair drywall. I then chose to create California patches to repair each of the 29 holes. However, the crew was courteous, did a great job of cleaning up, and the RetroFoam provided an effective noise control solution for my counseling office.

Update: After speaking with the owner, apparently the use of Styrofoam plugs is commonly used in the field by foam insulation contractors. Personally, I would not feel comfortable using Styrofoam for drywall repair. However, it appears that the contractor was following established procedures for the installation of foam insulation.

I am so pleased with my Retrofoam installation! The company showed up when scheduled, did my installation, and left no mess, all while charging me a very reasonable price. We can already tell a difference in the temperature in our very old home. The HVAC unit is getting some relief. I look forward to the reduced energy bills. Thank you, Retrofoam!

Very blessed to have worked with RetroFoam for my spray foam insulation job at my building. My rating reflects the fact that all businesses have room to grow not that these gentleman did anything wrong but everyone can always work to improve. My communications with Eddie was very pleasant and he was extremely accommodating with my schedule and trying to explain in full the entire process. Paperwork portion was a breeze, easy to understand and follow instructions. The crew that came out were all pleasant and worked professionally. The job was done as described and expected. My building is now able to be worked in where before the insulation we struggled due to heat exhaustion. These men came out in the heat of the summer to ensure the safety of others working. I definitely would recommend them to anyone else looking to get foam insulation down. They also installed fans in my attic to push out hot air. FYI for those who book a job, if they have to cover any holes in the ceiling, when they take the tape off it may peel back your paint/drywall etc. I do have a few small spots of repair work due to that. It’s best if you ensure the work space is set up for a successful job. This team was great at what they did, worked well and quick enough and cleaned up after!

6 mortar holes missed after I asked them to come back and fill them. They did… and still there are 6 holes I can see that haven’t been filled, it’s been 18 months since my job was complete.

Recently I had to have some plaster work done at my house… I was astonished to find gaps between foam and studs, like it shrank. Also very disappointed to find large areas without any foam at all, and these are only in the areas that were opened up… makes me wonder how spotty the rest of the retro foam in my walls is. The lack of energy savings now makes sense. I was hoping for some sort of reduction in my utility bills as it mentions on the website, unfortunately my bills are the same and in some cases higher than they were before.

We used RetroFoam for spray foam insulation of our warehouse building. Eddie and his team went ABOVE and beyond for us from start to finish. The installers were professional and very informative. 10/10 would highly recommend this company!

Recently, RetroFoam came out to insulate our garage. Our home was built in 2015, but the builder hadn't insulated above or in the walls of the garage. We received estimates from a few companies, but we were especially impressed with Eddie, the representative from RetroFoam - his attitude and professionalism stood out right away.
On installation day, Nate, Gunner, and Robert arrived and did a fantastic job. They prepped the area thoroughly, completed the work efficiently, and left everything spotless. Their professionalism and work ethic were excellent from start to finish. The entire experience was smooth, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Great experience! Have an old 1940’s house with no insulation at all in its walls. They filled up the walls with little issues. Had a small blow out on one of the walls because it was weaker than the rest due to a previous repair, but they have gone the extra mile to repair it correctly, and I couldn’t be more happier with the results. Great bunch of guys and professional. Cleaned up well and left no trace. Heat isn’t running all night any more, and my house stays warm. Great job!

Eddie treated me very well and price was on the lower side of all the quotes I shopped. He came out and looked at the job gave me a quote and the guys were not to far behind starting the work. 50x60 steel building 2” Closed Cell Foam they knocked it out in 2 days. Finished product is amazing.
