Recommended me to some contractors who provided me quotes for various home projects. We didn't use the contractor but plan to for another job

Got put on hold then they dropped my call after waiting 30 mins. Was told I would be called back and waited two days so I called back myself. They measured my carpet wrong then they made me come back to return it for a new one that took more time then told to arrive.
Very unhappy with this location and their service.

Home Depot is my go to big box store. They helped us design our kitchen and saved us nearly $1000. I trust their advice and appreciate how the emloyees go the extra mile to give great service.

Recently bought a house and wanted to restore our beaten up kitchen cabinets to make them look like new. We went to The Home Depot to get some ideas when someone told us about the refacing program they offered and said about the free consultation. We scheduled an appointment, and a representative came out to look at our cabinets. The discussion went well even though it was a little short and we decide it would be a great fit for what we wanted to do. It took about a month to order the parts as expected and then the process began a week or so later. We found out our contractor was not a licensed contractor and just works under a licensed one. This is absurd considering we were spending over $ 10,000 for just refacing our small sized kitchen, and that did not even including replacing the countertops. Only one man did the entire project which was okay, but he consistently made relatively significant mistakes, complained about his job and his personal life. Then when he thought we were not in the room he sometimes even complained about us to his boss on the phone. Which was extremely uniprofessional. Not even a week after starting he thought he was finished to protection. The crown molding was cracked and not even nailed all the way into the cabinets, pieces were not all the way together, all the door handles were crooked, the slide out drawers was not all the way screwed in on most of them, and you could see large gaps in between the lament. This is just a few examples of errors made. We called one of his supervisors, and he came back out acting very confused why until we showed him everything. We had him redo one of the panels and while he was doing that he left it in our oven and turned it on thus catching fire. There was smoke throughout our entire house and melted the plastic on our brand new stove. When we asked him how he was going to fix our oven he told us "We" should be able to take care of it ourselves and then left immediately afterward. Very concerned we contacted his supervisor again only to be told they were booked until next week to get someone different to look at it. The new person that came out was the actual licensed contractor he was working under. We were thrilled because he told us almost half of what the other guy did was completely wrong and he would fix all of it in no time and take care of our stove. Come to find out that the man that works under him only does such a bad job because the licensed contractor does a horrible job too and ended him back another 2 or 3 times to fix his mistakes or other things he promised he would fix, but did not the first couple of visits. In the end, it still looked nowhere near the $ 10,000 asking price they quoted us as a "steal" and looked more like a $ 4,000 to $ 6,000 job. Please do not make the same mistake we did and go to a local company and please do research on them!!!

Had my garage attic insulation blown in. George and Jack did an outstanding job. Very professional and explained everything and took the time to answer all my questions. The insulation made a huge difference in the garage. Will defiantly be using RetroFoam of East Tennessee for future jobs. Highly recommend!!

I would very highly recommend Retrofoam. After speaking with the owner we hired them to insulate our garage and part of our new renovation. This is an excellent option to ripping out the drywall. They showed up on time and worked until the job was complete. They prepped the rooms well and when they were done, cleaned up completely. It been over a month since the work was done and we are are amazed at how warm our garage and home are now. We love it and are so glad we worked with Retrofoam!

We had foam put in the walls last week, and we can tell a big difference in temperature. Robert, Jack, Nathan, and George did a great job and cleaned their workspace really well. I will reach out to this company again in the future.

RetroFoam did a fantastic job sound proofing the master bedroom of one of my custom homes. Robert, George, Jack, and Nathan was very professional, timely, and even sent me pictures of the finished results. Will definitely use again!

I've known of GES and Eddie Sanford's excellent reputation from friend's positive experiences. Although I only needed a small amount of foam insulation, I contacted Eddie for the job. It's been a huge improvement since adding the foam. It's been a few weeks with mild temperatures so hard to tell if my heat and air bill is less, BUT I know there will be! How do I know this? Because I can't hear the trash truck anymore at 6am! I highly recommend the retrofoam system with Eddie and his crew installing it!

I couldn't have used a better company for our insulation job. Eddie and the crew from RetroFoam of East Tennessee were very professional and friendly. The guys were knowledgeable and informative of what they were doing and any safety precautions we needed to know. They made sure to put down protective plastic before they started and cleaned up after they were finished. I would higly recommend Eddie and the crew from RetroFoam of East Tennessee.

Eddie was easy to talk with and forthcoming about the pluses/minuses and challenges of doing foam insulation through old mortar. The work was promptly completed, and they quickly responded to and addressed minor issues that came up, which were mostly pointed out ahead of time as possibilities of the process. The finished patch work was better expected, house is quieter and the HVAC seems to be running less, so far. I look forward to reporting back on the reduction in our KUB bill.

George, Nate and Robert installed foam insulation in my garage. They came as promised in the morning. They even helped me to clear the walls from obstruction items so they could get to work. These 3 guys worked intensively from beginning to end. We couldn’t have had any better team than these hard working men. We certainly would hire them again and we recommend them for any one who is going to insulate a garage or the walls on a garage. THANK YOU !

I was one of the first 7 customers of East TN Retrofoam ,probably 6 or 7 years ago,and I had them come out and give me an estimate to inject foam in my basement brick walls. I liked their quote so I hired them. They did an excellent job and you cant even see where they drilled in the mortar to inject the foam. My basement is a lot warmer and quieter now. I definitely will use them again ! Thanks Eddie!

Eddie and Robert were easy to work with. They weren’t in a hurry to make a sale but they wanted to make sure that their product would fix our issue. They came in and applied the spray insulation. We can tell a great difference in the temperature of our room.

This was a small job that others would not even look at. It was converting a carport into a two car garage with a single door. It has really made a difference in keeping our cars and house a lot cleaner. House is cooler and less street noise.
I thought this was going to be a small and simple job but when Kevin, John and Kent got started I was glad I did not try this myself because it would have been a mess. They did many things that made a huge difference in the out come like putting styrofoam strips glued down under the framing of walls. Every 2 X 4 was checked and made sure it was level and plumb. They worked fast and efficiently. The only thing that slowed them down was waiting on material. They put up with me watching and getting in the way and were really great to work with. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them for any project. I would definitely use them again.

I've waited over a year before reviewing to get a good idea of how Retrofoam was working for my home. I had only the exterior walls done in my older home that has plaster walls. I haven't seen any real movement in my electric bill or felt a huge difference in how cool/toasty my rooms feel throughout the seasons.
I've owned the house for 9 years. I was concerned about wall cracks but was assured my plaster walls shouldn't be an issue. Cracks have formed in most all my exterior walls since Retrofoam was installed.
I used reviews as part of my research before I ordered the service. I was surprised on installation day to find out there was a $60 incentive for leaving reviews (which i didn't accept because i didn't know how I felt about the service yet). I became skeptical since customer feedback was a big part of why I decided to move forward. However, I had made a non-refundable deposit, workers were in the yard and minutes from getting started. I decided to cross my fingers and hope it worked.
Everyone was very nice, the crew worked diligently and left the house/yard in great shape. Looking back though, I haven't seen any real benefit and wish I'd never done it.

I had the exterior walls foamed first. The salesman was very patient, understanding, and helpful answering my many questions. Due to the distance, most of our communication was via phone, email, and text; all of which were prompt. The installation was efficient and methodical. They took their time to do it right. I got many explanations of how and why they were doing things. It took a little longer than expected due to the complexity of the project but I noticed a difference as soon as the walls were done. Quieter. The furnace didn't kick on as long or as often. I'm happy and it's only been 3 days! Thanks guys!
Several months later I had them redo my crawlspace. The removed the drooping insulation and foamed the floor joists then removed the old plastic and put in 8 mil plastic. The vents were replaced with a newer model that would open and close automatically. The night after they foamed the floor joists the heat didn't kick on for hours! Yes, it was a mild evening, in the 40/50 range but still. The next day the temps were still mild and again the heat didn't kick on for hours. I could sit without feeling the cold creep through the floor. The closets even felt not as cold. They hauled away the debris and cleaned up. They answered questions and were polite. It's been a couple of weeks now and still the heat runs less often then it did before I had the work done. I am very grateful for the excellent work they did.
