Trevor, Frank and Daniel were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They did a fantastic job fixing the foundation. Vincent, the gentleman that gave me my estimate, was also very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We now feel very secure in our home. We would highly recommend them to our family and friends.

Zeke and the other team member with him were great. They were very helpful and informative on our project, they were punctual, and it was completed quickly. They were also friendly and didn’t mind talking us through the process.

We had an appointment this morning to have our foundation issues addressed. Michael Ausborn came to our house. He is a very professional person and answered all our questions regarding our home. He was truthful about the work we need to get done. Michael was very curious and a nice person and took the time to go over everything we wanted to discuss. Thank you

I am VERY happy with the results I got from 58 Foundations.
My old 1950's home has a down sloped driveway going into my basement. A previous owner had put in a raised asphalt ridge funneling to a very small sump basin and it did not work at all. I would get inches of rain in my basement every time it stormed. Driving over the ridge was also super annoying.
I called 58 Foundations and they were very easy to work with and was able to get me scheduled very fast. Mark came out and quoted the job and explained everything very well and within a few weeks, Shelton got me scheduled and Nate and Brian, came out to remove the ridge and install a brand new channel drain, deeper, covered sump basin, new pump, and piped it out to the yard for me.
I have not had any rain in the basement since and I couldn't be happier. I added a few before and after photos as well.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I will have them back out as soon as possible to waterproof the rest of the basement as well! -
Several weeks ago I decided it was time to address my home crawlspace issues. I interviewed multiple companies and decided on 58 foundation and waterproofing out of Knoxville TN. Andy my 1st contact was very professional, thorough with his inspection and answered all my questions. 1 of the many reasons I choose 58 foundation was Andy DIDN'T try to up sell me products and services that weren't necessary. When it came time to perform the work their team was on time and did excellent work. Mind you the complete back of my home was compromised. Brian, Nate, Tyler and the rest of the team were first rate. I couldn't recommend them more. Here's some pictures. Frank from Butler Tennessee.

I had appointment for 4:00pm, left work to make it home. Waited till 5:30pm, no phone call, no text from 58 Foundation and Waterproofing, nothing. I called the company, receptionist very nice. She could not get ahold of my scheduled inspector, but got ahold of his supervisor. Supervisor told receptionist the inspector was having car issues. I understand this happens, HOWEVER, the supervisor could have reached out to the waiting customer and communicate with them. This is poor business practice, I arranged my day for this appointment. I wouldn’t recommend for this reason.

My mother in law's foundation is Bowing. She passed away in July.I needed to get an estimate for probate.58 foundation kept. saying the decision maker the owner has to be there.I told 58 foundations that she is deceased and they kept saying the owner had to be there to make a decision .well now. I will never use this company or recommend them because there's nothing I can do about my mother law being deceased, she cannot make a decision. What a ridiculous rule, this company should be ashamed of themselves for putting the loved ones in this situation not even to get an estimate shame, shame shame on you.

I live in Mt. Carmel, TN. I had an issue with water coming into the basement after a moderate to heavy rain. I called 58 Foundations for help and Andy came by to explain what they could do for us and how everything works. Andy is a great guy and patient with my wife and I as we had a million questions. The process for everything was 2 days. Trevor, D.J., and Jubal did the work for us and just like Andy they all had great positive attitudes and took the time to explain the process of everything before and during. After completion of the work, they didn’t leave until they again explained how everything works. It just looks and feels so much nicer than it was. We love the lighting system they put in and it has a nice timer feature that the lights will automatically shut off after 15 minutes or so if you leave them on.
Over all very impressed with the professionalism and product. Can’t wait for it to rain haha.
Thank you all

Even 10 stars isn't enough for '58 Foundations & Waterproofing. To start off, Michael came out for the free estimate and was very relaxing to be around. Our tall crawl foundation was cracking, the cabin was missing a support column, and the crawlspace needed encapsulation due to very high moisture levels in the cabin and crawlspace.
There was no high-pressure sales tactic, and Michael thoroughly explained the issues and showed us exactly how they'd be fixing them. Even though we needed time to consider the huge costs of our project, we knew before he even left that '58 Foundations was going to be the company we went with.
After accepting the job a few days later, LeeAnn from '58 Foundations called to go over the contract, and she was so patient in fielding all of my questions and concerns. In fact, she was so nice that after completing the business part of the conversation, we ended up talking for at least another 30–45 minutes as though we were friends, and if you ever asked people that know me, they'd tell you that I really don't like to talk on the phone. At all.
A few days before the job started, Shelton called to confirm the appointment and to let me know that someone would be coming out to assess the property for the crew's machinery. He was very professional to talk to and answered any last minute concerns.
Once the actual job started, the two foremen on the job, Matt and Spencer, and the rest of the crew, Jordan, Johnathan, Kaylon, and Richard, were not only super professional but also very nice guys. Anytime I went out to just watch the process or had any questions to ask, they were all super friendly, patient, and explained everything until I understood it. And like my experience with LeeAnn, I just felt like I was hanging out with friends who were just really good at fixing foundations.
Both days were very cold, and the light faded pretty quickly, but the crew worked until they couldn't see. In fact, I not only watched Spencer drill holes for the dehumidifier drain line in near darkness, but I also watched as Matt precariously maneuvered the excavator to finish out the grading around the property and finally Johnathan wrapped it all up by spreading the seed and hay with a headlamp on. Nobody got frustrated at any time no matter how late they were out there and they were all "yes sir, no sir" the entire time.
For the encapsulation, although I didn't get a final shot of the results, the attention to detail by the guys installing that heavy plastic liner was crazy. The crawlspace is built into the side of a steep mountain and contains 3 different angled wood platforms that were dug into the earth, but these guys were on their bellies and backs for hours, making sure every seam and corner was properly secured.
As you can see from the photo, they even walked on the liner without their boots on so that the liner stayed clean. Who raised these guys with such good manners? Seriously though, whoever runs this company and hires these guys really knows what they're doing.
So this whole entire experience with '58 Foundations & Waterproofing from the literal start to finish was phenomenal, and even though it was very tough handing over that big check, it was worth every penny. If you ever need similar work done to your home, I highly, highly recommend using their services.
Update **
I had recommended 58 Foundations to a good friend who was having cracking issues with his interior floor that sits on a slab foundation as well as first floor ceiling cracks in the same area.
We were both expecting the estimate for a similar foundation lift but he said Mike who is the sales manager told him no lift was needed and that he just needed a dehumidifier and some venting between the walls of the garage and the 1st floor.
Just one more reason to choose 58 Foundations and Waterproofing. He could have easily told my friend he needed the full lift and dehumidification but went the honest route. -
We hired 58 foundations to raise one corner of our church building and now we're having issues with water coming in the building. We have around $20,000 of damaged to the inside of the building. They offered to fix it if I would pay more money. We did not have a problem with water coming in before they done the job. Now all the flooring and trim is destroyed.

Eric Cortright and helper did an excellent job in my crawl space today. I am very pleased with the encapsulation work they done. It looks great!! Highly recommend this company. Thank you 58 Foundations and waterproofing!!

On 10/21 the 58 crew came to my house to level and support some of the floors in my house. The crew of Chad, Shaw, and Daniel were led by foreman Cam Hill. The work done was sucessful and my floors were level and sturdier. The crew was organized and worked together well. I would recommend themto do the same for you.

Excellent work done by all. Matt the foreman of our job and Talon were great to work with. My only suggestion would be to improve communication on when they will be coming. Job could not have been done better. They were very respectful coming into the home.

Guys were polite went straight to work. Crew of 4 took 4 hours to pull out the old and put in the new. My crawl space is open so isn’t that hard for someone who knows what they are doing. The job turned out great no complaints. Can’t go wrong with 58 foundation

I had an excellent experience with 58 Foundation from start to finish. The team was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They were completely upfront about all costs and took the time to recommend the most effective and economical solution for my foundation issues. After the work was completed, they followed up to ensure everything was solid and the foundation was performing as it should. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of foundation repair. Thanks 😊

58 Foundations were great from start to finish. Michael Ausborn did an awesome job explaining the process and all the details. Cam Hill and his crew were very efficient, personable and professional even though they had to work in the rain. Our crawl space looks better and the pump works wonderfully. Definitely will recommend them for your crawl space and basement needs.

DO NOT USE THEM.
I paid $13k for an incomplete job. Here’s the list of material and then I’ll explain what they did and didn’t do. That way you can decide if being ripped off by them is worth your while.
Materials:
(2) 4 in. x 6 in. x 12 ft. #2 Pressure-Treated Ground Contact Southern Pine Timber; $30.98/piece
(30) R-13 Kraft Faced Fiberglass Insulation Roll 15 in. W x 32 ft. L; $25.37/roll
(2) temporary employees; $/hr unknown but let’s be generous and say I was charged $20/hr for 20 hours bc they were here for 3 days.
(5) Super S 15 in. Jack Post; $28.53/piece
Total of: $1365 in material and labor.
What they said they would do and what they didn’t put into the contract and what they said they would charge me to repair/finish their warranty all clash.
My house has a 6 inch drop in a 5ft span towards the center of the house. It also bounces when walking. As you can imagine the doors and windows stick and there are structural issues surrounding this. Lots of drywall repairs before and after they came out. Not important but relevant. I was quoted two 20ft beams parallel to each other on either side of the main support beam under the house with jacks and concrete footer pads. We discussed adding a sump pump and drainage around a separate part of the house but the added cost made it prohibitive. Doesn’t affect the main structure so I opted out. I chose to have my insulation replaced instead as it was falling out. I removed the insulation, being mindful to not disrupt my electrical wiring and how it was mounted to the floor joist. I can’t afford an electrician to come out. I removed the entire hvac system myself to assist in the cost and getting it out of the way. The Tech came out with two temporary employees and left them there for a full 8 hours sitting in my driveway playing on their phones because they had no work to do. The tech showed up after dark, mid summer here, and said he was at another job and couldn’t be at my house and left with the two employees that had been at my house all day. He returned the next day with partial material and “completed” the repair/install of the beams and existing issue with the existing main center suppport beam. He left that afternoon for another job. The third day he left his two associates with the insulation and departed again. It took all day for those two to put it up. No big deal. They left all the old insulation in the driveway that I had to haul to the dump and remnants of the beams they cut. No big deal. I’ll do their job their too. During the install of the insulation the two employees pulled down nearly every wire under the house and some show signs of vermin chewing on the wires as well. Now I have to have that replaced.
What I got for $13k was $1365 dollars in materials and labor and the house still wasn’t supported properly. A giant headache and Lots of excuses from the warranty guy about how the tech doesn’t work there anymore. He recognized the issues and apologized for the crappy work. He then handed me a quote of $9k to finish the work and I could finance it through them if I didn’t have the money.
Why am I responsible for paying YOU twice to do what you should have done in the first place. Why didn’t you show me photos of the work after it was done. Why didn’t you send another person out to inspect his work if you knew he was a problem. Why am I responsible for your misgivings? I shouldn’t be and unfortunately I am now. So, if you read this far then thank you and be warned about this company.
I’ll add photos of what they were supposed to fix and didn’t and what they did do and it’s not working. -
Matt and Jordan did an excellent job hands down!! They were able to do everything from the outside so took out the flooring for no reason which I will take any day compared to what the mess inside probably would have been! They even went as far as cleaning up the dirt and mud that was trekked inside. Both guys were awesome and 58 Foundation is lucky to have Matt, Jordan, Zeke, and DJ (I think Zeke’s partner was DJ)!

Just has Jason come out to give me a quote. We spend about 15 mins discussing the cellar and he let me know cost saving options and referred me to someone who was better equipped for my stone foundation. He was candid and seemed genuinely wanting to help. As a Realtor in Chattanooga that deals with salesmen a lot it was refreshing and will definitely be using them in the future.

We chose ‘58 Foundations to encapsulate our crawl space because of their fair pricing, life of the structure warranty and customer service. They arrived at the scheduled time, were very professional, and did a wonderful job! My husband and I highly recommend
‘58 Foundations.

We rented a house for over a year while our new home is being built. The Radon level at the rental was in the 30.0 – 40+ We had 58 Foundations and waterproofing bid on our new home with about 8 other companies. Gerad came over and gave us the bid. He was a perfect gentleman, well versed in the trade as he worked with install and other areas of the company while he worked his way up. Eric, Kaleb and Frank came over to install. They were very courteous, polite and obviously very knowledgeable of their work. They finished their thorough handiwork and left a beautiful job behind. They provided a time to go over everything with all questions being answered. I would most definitely use them again if needed and highly recommend 58 Foundations to anyone in need of their services!
