I am very pleased by the service provided by Window World for my new back sliding door. Everyone I worked with in order get this new door installed was such a pleasure to work with and took time to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. The installation was the cherry on top as my installers Jonathan & Kaiden where friendly, timely, and very complimentary of my home. I highly recommend Window World for any of your home needs.

We had such a great experience with Window World! Hunter Williams and his crew were quick, friendly, and answered any questions we had. We had a terrible experience with another window company in town, and from the beginning the first person who came out, wish I could remember his name, explained everything in a concise way, didn't do a big long sales pitch, and the price was super reasonable. Our new windows look amazing, we are so happy with our experience!

We got windows from them a few years ago during covid and it went good enough so we came back to get windows for our new house. The windows look great but that's where the positive things stop. The install finished August 8th and a window was broken. Here we are on Aug 30th and it was supposed to be installed today and they called and said they had to cancel with 6 hours notice because the service tech called out sick conveniently on Labor Day weekend and nobody else can come install it. So rescheduled to Sept 4th, the window has been at their warehouse over a week now so that wasn't the issue. The installers were nice enough but they were on break as much as they were working. The windows are disgusting and every single one of them needs cleaned, when I brought this up I was told "we don't have a window cleaning service". They destroyed our trim when installing the windows, trash all over our roof and screens came with holes in them. This was a VERY expensive job with a very frustrating experience and the communication has been extremely bad in all regards as well. I definitely would never recommend Window World after this experience. I do know from the first time I got Windows until this time the owner changed and I can tell you all the prices went up drastically as well. Check the included photos!

First of all ,we had a fast response on the first phone call we made to them. We were told a salesman would be out to talk to us. Scott M. came out and gave a price for new windows in our house. We agreed on four windows being installed. Scott told us the price would be in effect for 1 year. David was our installer, he was great at his job.He cleaned as he worked. David showed us all the details of the windows and how to use them. The windows were so much more than we thought they would be . We are very pleased with Window World.

I’m so pleased with my new windows. 18 in total, all installed in 1 day about 3 weeks earlier than anticipated. The crew did an excellent job, cleaned up afterwards and were very courteous.
I chose Window World of Knoxville because they scheduled quickly for the initial visit to get measurements and give me a quote, unlike the other company I contacted who didn’t call back until 5 days later.

We checked out other companies here in Knoxville before we chose Window World. We had a very good experience with Window World for 3 doors & 29 (!) windows this October.
The sales rep took all the time we needed to answer our questions with no pressure. The door crew, Jonathan & Kaiden, were skilled. Our house was built in the 60s so skilled door hangers was a must for us.
The window crew was very good also. They did all the indoor work quickly first so that they minimized our household disruption. We appreciated their good work & tidy cleanup. They cleaned the windows so nicely before they left. We were very satisfied.

After securing 3 estimates for replacing 9 windows and a door at our home, the staff at Window World best helped us understand how changing out our windows with their products would go smoothly and affordable. They walked us through the entire process, including payment. We went ahead and ordered the nine windows to replace our existing windows and a beautiful new door. The technicians were extremely professional, timely, industrious and cleaned up very nicely after they completed their work. I highly recommend Window World for your next window project. They are great!

We ordered windows from Window World on July 6, 2025 after an in-home meeting with their rep, Greg, attended by myself and my builder. We specifically asked for the lead time for our exact order, which included custom sizes and bronze exterior / white interior factory finish. We were clearly told that the expected turnaround time was 6–8 weeks from the time of order. Based on this information, we proceeded with the purchase and structured the remainder of our construction timeline accordingly.

Based on the stated lead time, our windows should have arrived by the first week September 2025 at the latest.

At approximately six weeks post-order, I attempted to follow up for a status update. Multiple voicemails were left over several days without response. About a week later, I was informed that Greg had been on vacation and that the windows were now expected to arrive in another 2–3 weeks, which still aligned reasonably with the original estimate.

However, after that point, the communication deteriorated significantly. At 9 weeks post-order, we were told “hopefully next week.” This same message continued for another 5 weeks, despite repeated follow-ups.

On November 3, I left another voicemail. Greg returned my call on Nov 5 and stated the following (paraphrased):

“Normally standard white windows are 6–8 weeks. Once you get them painted or colored, they have to ship them to another plant to get painted, and it takes longer—usually about 10–12 weeks.”

This explanation was never disclosed at the time of sale, despite us asking specifically about lead times for our chosen configuration. Had this information been provided upfront, we would have made a different purchasing decision or adjusted our construction schedule accordingly.

Ultimately, the windows were not delivered until November 9 — approximately 16 weeks after the order was placed, more than double the original quoted timeframe (and beyond the timeline even IF they had given the 10-12 weeks
in the first place)

Key Issues:
1. Misrepresentation of lead times when directly asked about this specific order configuration.
2. Failure to return calls and provide timely, honest updates.
3. Repeated assurances that delivery was imminent when it clearly was not.
4. A significant domino effect on our construction schedule, including delays to drywall and finishing work.
5. Substantial financial impact, including:
• Delayed move-in from Christmas to March/April
• Additional months of rent while simultaneously paying a mortgage
• Thousands of dollars in avoidable costs caused by inaccurate and misleading information

I fully understand that delays can occur in construction and manufacturing. What is unacceptable is intentional or negligent misrepresentation, compounded by poor communication once the sale was secured.

Had Window World been honest about realistic lead times—or transparent once delays became evident—we could have planned accordingly and significantly reduced the financial and logistical damage.

This experience reflects a breakdown in honesty and accountability. I am documenting this not only to seek acknowledgment and resolution, but also so that future customers are not placed in the same position.

Wonderful experience! Love my window! Kevin gave us quote arrived 6-8 weeks later!The installation was great they cleaned up after themselves left no mess! Lifetime warranty! Another copy from Knoxville told us all three windows had to be replaced due to warranty that was untrue! The price was very reasonable! I would recommend Window World to everyone!

Our installation went wonderful! Johnny Bell did an awesome and amazing job, very much a perfectionist and we are extremely happy! From 1-10 I rate his work a 15!

I have used Window World several times. Their products are superior and their employees are much better. We just had a patio door installed from our living room to our enclosed sunroom. It changed everything for us. With a sleeper sofa, it turned the room into a 4th bedroom for guest and the door provides privacy and a noise barrier.

110% satisfied with the job done by window world and there installation team. The crew arrived slightly ahead of scheduled time, after introductions they immediately started working. Within 4 hours all of the old windows had been removed and the new one in place. We also had 3 entry and 1 sliding patio door replaced. By the time they left day one the job was 75% completed, returned the next day finished. All old windows and scrap from new was picked up and hauled off. Except for the new look and yard sign you can't tell they have been here.
The crew was, friendly, professional, well organized and very proficient at their jobs.
I have zero hesitation about referrals for window world. They did what said they would. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. It is a shame you can only rate up to a 5.
Window world was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, they fell in the middle of the price range, very happy with the final product.

Window world came out measured and placed an order. They arrived quicker than originally estimated. Super easy installation and entire window sill outside was wrapped with coil stock. The installers were careful with the plants in the flowerbeds below the windows. Super happy with entire process.

Absolutely the best home reno experience my husband and I have ever had! Cant wait to replace more windows in the future! VERY professional. Left no mess. Johns finish work was impeccable.

Robert, Sam and Chris with the mitigation team got to my house quickly and worked very hard to get fans setup and start the mitigation work. Robert worked hard to get things cleaned up. They kept in contact during this part of the process.

Robert from Apex DKI came out very promptly and to do a board up and got everything sealed in with no issues in a few hours. Thank you again
