The employees were nice, but the company is a disaster. I had water damage from a failed bathtub drain. They responded immediately and began drying the water the next day. So far so good.

From that point on all communication with them was confusing and unclear. I never knew when they would return, what the next step was, how much was owed, what insurance was covering, or even who to contact. By the end of the process I had phone numbers for SEVEN different Apex employees. Just give me one or two representatives.

After initial cleanup, my living room floor was left dirty with drywall dust for weeks. I was told they would clean it, but they never did, even after the whole process was over. I also had to paint 2 walls of my living room myself because they didn't get insurance to cover painting all 4 walls, only 2. I'm not sure if that was my insurance's fault or theirs, but somebody dropped the ball.

My whole house was also covered in dust from the ceiling repair, which was also not cleaned.

Overall the process took 2 months while I had a gaping hole in my living room ceiling. My insurance was charged almost $6,000, even though material costs could not have been more than $1,000. It was just 2 or 3 drywall panels, some ceiling texture, a few gallons of paint, some miscellaneous materials, plus whatever depreciation they calculate for running their dehumidifier machine. The rest was labor.

In the end I ended up signing the "good job now leave me alone" papers because the stress they were causing me was not worth fixing any additional problems.

Overall the quality of the work was actually good minus the dust everywhere, but the whole process was slow, miserable, and confusing.

Robert was very fast and efficient in his job. He seems very knowledgeable in his profession and is also friendly.

I had water line burst & flooded my house today. Robert was with the crew that came to help me. He was very concerned about all my stuff. He told me what they would do as they did it. He even took care of my cat! Such a hard worker. Showed he really liked his job. I'd hire him! Lol.

After signing a contact with Apex, who was sent by our insurance. They decided 5 days out to not complete our job. They had already taken our deductible and scheduled the work. I would not recommend doing business with Apex restoration dki. It feels like they were hoping to get more money from insurance and when they couldn’t backed out of the job—even after signed contract. Now we are starting over during the holiday season with giant holes in the ceiling.

Wow, Robert was amazing! He was so professional and prompt. I was impressed with the way he kept his work area clean and made sure all the debris was properly removed. Solid work overall, and the basement bathroom is nicely, well, rerenovated it feels! Robert did an excellent job, was right to the point, and very solid iverall in what needed to be done be it through the task[s] at hand, or through questioning.

Someone recommended Apex Restoration to me after a water leak in my home. They scheduled my clean up immediately. Robert came out the next day. APEX DKI came out fast and got the situation under control and worked with my insurance. They sent out Jennifer to look at the damage and then Robert came out and took all the damage material out and set up the equipment and left a nice clean work space for the other crew to come in and be able to get right to work. Robert did an amazing job and was very professional and thorough and fast. Would recommend to anybody looking for mitigation and restoration.

Robert came in after my house flooded and really got to work. What I thought would take months took Robert about a week. The awful smell was gone and the mold caused by the flood was clean and gone. I would hire Robert and Sarah to work for me in a heartbeat! Thank you for your hard work!!
