We used Ampt Electric to solve an electrical issue we had with our flood lights. The lights had not been working for years and Ampt Electric was able to get those up and running in minutes. We also had an electrical outlet that was not working properly and they replaced the outlet with ease and got it working correctly again.
I would definitely recommend Ampt Electric to anyone in need of any and all electrical issues. They are the most reliable electric service I have had.

Amsterdam Electric installed an additional inside outlet, split a basement light string into 3 sections, installed a ceiling fan, added a whole house surge protector, and adjusted the height of a hanging light fixture. They provided a free quote for the job. Their price was very reasonable and they provided prompt friendly service. Our job was done within a week of initial contact. I highly recommend this company.

Ampt Electric did a dental office for Treg Contracting in the Knoxville area. Paul and Tom (the sidekick) were professional and knowledgeable. They are reasonable in pricing and completed the job with the upmost efficiency. Ampt Electric goes above and beyond for their clients, even for our company that is located out of state. Amazing service and an army ranger to boot! He worked us in after he’d had a full day. When my job turned out to have complications from a previous electrician, he buckled down and found the problem. He was disciplined, extremely knowledgeable, kind and adaptive. He even fabricated a necessary part that was missing. We felt like we were watching Macgyver! He worked hard and solved our problem. Before closing on our first home, the inspector flagged some electrical issues that needed to be looked at by an electrician. We called Paul, and he was at our house the next day. He agreed with the inspector's recommendation and had a quote in our email within hours of looking at the home. Paul got us on his calendar the same week we closed on the house. I had quite a few electrical jobs to be done around the house. I hired someone and waited a month but he never showed up. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I asked for recommendations on my neighborhood Facebook group and found Ampt Electric. They were scheduled for today and were here at 8am as promised. Paul and Joseph did a great job and got everything completed. I even added a few more things to their list they weren’t planning on doing but they were able to work those in as well.
