I left this review on their website but they, of course, have chosen not to share it...Our experience and my review left on the Memphis Merry Maids website:

We used their move-in cleaning services and were extremely disappointed. After Paige spent a lengthy amount of time explaining the type of team we may have show up on the day of service (a more experienced set of cleaners and perhaps a trainee; the equivalent of two-and-a-half cleaners, for example) we basically ended up with a team of one-and-a-half. Paige explained how intensively they clean the refrigerator and oven in the kitchen and that would take at least an hour probably. We requested that the team focus on all of the ceiling fans and the walls (dry dusting) and vacuuming the carpets. The trained person on the team spent two hours in the tiny kitchen but failed to do very basic tasks (like sweep under a cabinet), did not clean the water dispenser tray which turned out to be DISGUSTING, and never touched the ceiling fan. The trainee of the team walked around sweeping and vacuuming while they visited with one another the entire time. They never touched the bathrooms until I mentioned it as they were trying to leave after three hours of wasting our time and money. They didn't CLEAN the bathrooms but tried to kind of make it look like they did. After they left we noticed all of the things they didn't do: huge dead bugs in all of the kitchen cabinets and the entryway coat closet, areas where the walls were dirty and noticeably untouched. They charged me $150 per hour and, for what they did, we paid almost $500 and didn't even get a reasonable hour's worth of work from their team. We had planned to book them for our move-out service needs at our previous rental but were so extremely disappointed in their services that we will NEVER use them again nor recommend them to anyone who values their time or money. Our landlord should have cleaned the property before we moved in but we went ahead and paid ourselves, thinking it would be worth it. It was a complete waste of our delayed move in and our $500. Never. again.

So thankful for Freddie! She has been amazing for us. She has been cleaning for us for awhile now and we are always very pleased! I would definitely recommend Merry Maids!

Terrible clean. I paid $500 for a deep clean. I was told via email that a deep clean includes “washing of all woodwork- baseboards, front of cabinets, and doors” on top of the basic clean.
1) they did not clean baseboards in any of the living spaces. They were filthy.
2) didn’t clean backsplash in kitchen
3) bumped the gas while cleaning stove so when I got home gas was on and house reeked
4) didn’t clean bath tubs
5) dirt and dog fur in corners of rooms

I sent pictures of these issues and they came back. I told them that baseboards in bedrooms were fine but to take care of baseboards in all the living areas. They cleaned the baseboards in living room and kitchen, and I happened to be near them to remind them to do a hallway. I had to leave the house and upon arrival home, disappointed to see that they did not do baseboards in the hall bath, or in the hall to kitchen or hall area off kitchen to bath and laundry room. I shouldn’t have to follow a cleaning service around and explain to them cleaning baseboards means all baseboards. Total waste to pay for a deep clean. Don’t like to post bad reviews but this was a rip off. Won’t have them back.

Every time the Merry Maids leave our home is sparkling down to the baseboards. They thing of things to do that I sometimes don't notice. all are very pleasant and they work quickly !!

Angelina and Shauna were a great duo - my newly clean house lifted my spirits. For someone who works full time and manages their home as well, I highly recommend taking a cleaning off your plate and putting it in the trusted hands of this team.

I wouldn’t pay them to clean my cat’s litter box. Two HUGE red flags with them.

I have a camera so I could see and hear in my house. Maybe don’t speak poorly about your clients or you’ll end up on TikTok.

When I came home I was saddened to see my house was barely clean. Upon checking the cameras, they packed up about 10 minutes early so if you factor in the walk through and the 10 minutes of packing up, they probably cleaned for 35-40 minutes so they didn’t even work an hour.

I happened to throw something in my trash can I was shocked to see the trash bag from the trash they cleaned up had gift cards, jewelry, unopened mail, my tv remote, and more in the trash bag. I guess they just threw away anything they picked up. They even threw away my $60 conditioner and the bottle wasn’t even empty. I had to spend 30 minutes combing through my trash can and I still haven’t been able to find some of my jewelry.

They said they couldn’t finish my house in the allotted time and I may need to add more time. They didn’t tell me that when I called the office and asked about the process though. It was fine though. I called and asked how much it would be for 1 additional hour and I was told $60. I agreed to the $60. A few minutes later, I was surprised to find that they tried to charge me the cost of the entire cleaning for an additional hour. Instead of $200, they tried to charge me $280 without my permission. I called back to see what was going on and was then told $60 was a mistake but they could do it for $100. So that was 3 different quotes? Yes, obviously shady business.

I had to hire another company to come and clean up my house which they did and it was absolutely spotless in the same amount of time this terrible company spent in my house. None of my clients will be using them ever again.

This process has been absolutely amazing. Setting up services was quick, convenient, and friendly. The team who cleaned my home, Bree and Robin, did a fabulous job. They conquered pet AND kid messes beautifully. I could not be more pleased and look forward to my routine monthly cleanings. Highly recommend :)

Double Time Carpet Cleaning came to my home and cleaned three rooms of carpet. Eugene did an excellent job—he was friendly and gave helpful advice about being careful when walking from the freshly cleaned carpet onto the tile, since it could be slippery. I really appreciated the tip. The company also sent me reminder text messages about the appointment and let me know when the technician was on the way, including a photo ID for safety. The price for the service was very fair. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for carpet cleaning, and I’ll definitely use their service again!

Since getting brand new carpets wasn’t an option for me right now, i figured a good carpet cleaning would help me make the most of what i have. honestly, i wasn’t expecting much because our carpets have been through a lot—two dogs, two cats, two busy teenagers, and a coffee spill here and there from a distracted parent. double time carpet cleaning surprised me with how well they cleaned everything! david worked really hard and their cleaning process made the carpets look almost like new again. the carpets feel soft, smell fresh, and even look brighter. now i don’t have to worry about replacing them for a long time. i’m really happy with the results, and the service was friendly, professional, and affordable. definitely recommend for anyone needing a carpet refresh.

My hallway carpets were really dirty, especially since they are mostly white and get a lot of foot traffic. When I had them cleaned, I was impressed with how the team handled everything. Eugene came by to return the rugs, but he noticed they weren't as clean as they should be. Instead of just dropping them off, he insisted on taking them back for another deep cleaning. That really showed me how much they care about their customers and the quality of their work. When the carpets came back, they looked as bright and clean as possible. I’ll definitely call them again when I need carpet cleaning in Memphis!

I had a fantastic experience with David and Shawn when they came out for carpet cleaning. They were very professional and worked efficiently, making sure every part of my carpet was spotless. My carpets look fresh and almost new again, and I can really notice the difference in how clean my home feels. I recently hired Double Time Carpet Cleaning to deep clean and sanitize the carpet in three bedrooms, the hallway, and the stairs. Jace and the crew also cleaned my sofa and an extra chair downstairs, which made the whole home feel much fresher and more comfortable. Their carpet cleaning process was one of the best I have seen. I do not usually leave reviews unless the service and results really stand out, and this job absolutely did. Double Time Carpet Cleaning made the whole upholstery and carpet cleaning process easy from booking to finish. Jace and Shawn came to our home in Memphis to clean our sofa, and they did an excellent job. They worked fast, were very polite, and stayed quiet and respectful while our newborn was resting. They explained the cleaning clearly, used care around our furniture, and made the couch look fresh and almost brand new for a very reasonable price. Communication was great the entire time, and the service felt professional, thoughtful, and efficient. We would gladly use this service again and would love to have Jace and Shawn back because their customer care truly stood out.
