I 120% recommend Ground Up!! They were an absolute gem to work with and so helpful! Such a great group of people and they go above and beyond!! Not long after they finished up encapsulating our crawl space some unfortunate events occurred and they were right back out making sure we were taken care of. They also helped make sure we would be taken care of in the future as well. I really can't say enough about how great they are!

This company does really amazing work. From the initial consultation and quote, to the work itself, to the wrap-up, everyone was impeccably professional. I never felt like I was being sold more than was needed. In fact, as part of the initial consultation I was advised to do one specific part of what could have otherwise been a much larger project. It gave me confidence that I was being expertly advised and not being upsold. I also had an opportunity to observe a good part of the work as it was being done. The crew is professional and they clearly take pride in the work and attention to details. Finally, they cleaned up the job site so well that honestly it looked even neater than when they started. They were responsive and on time and the follow through was great. They have my very highest recommendation and I will refer them to everyone I know.

Cory came to inspect our crawlspace. He was very kind, professional, and forthcoming throughout the visit. He took the time to listen to our concerns and talk through all of our options for next steps. He was obviously extremely knowledgeable and even took the time to discuss the best way for us to prepare for some upcoming construction in our neighborhood. We received the bid in an email the same night. We will definitely be contacting Ground Up when we move forward with the projects in the next year.

A few months ago we noticed cracks near some of the doorframes in our home. Mark came over to inspect inside and under our house in the crawlspace to come up with a bid that could take care of the foundation issues we had.

We really appreciated how he never made us feel pressured into any decisions and was always available to answer our questions during the entire process. We ended up splitting the job into two phases so we could afford it without financing and both times things were handled professionally and effectively by the crews that came out to work here. At the end of the second phase the crew found that some of the materials originally planned for wouldn’t be needed and were able to save us several thousand dollars off the final invoice as a result.

Even though it was the Hollidays, the came out quickly, did and excellent job, and kept us in the loop on where they were on their progress and what exactly they did to ensure our foundation was safe! We were under contract on a property that was built around 1930. We had many questions about the condition and height of the crawl space and well as the overall integrity of the structure. Ground Up Foundation Repair is an excellent business. The owners are great people and they run a great company. I’ve been able to count on them to do great work over the last ten years. They have done a variety of jobs for my family over the years. Each time the job looks excellent and they do what they say. I highly recommend them.

***Description of Work:
Added 300 feet of curtain drainage with pipe and rock. They also added 400 feet of drainage ditch with riprap. They did the all the excavation and installed the pipes and rock with no problems. The drains and ditch work perfectly. They saved our driveway and our septic system. I feel it was an excellent value for the amount of work they did. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, our service with Ground Up was a pleasure. Cory came out initially to inspect our home for a sloping issue/issues in our crawl space, and he was a very knowledgeable and genuine guy, and didn't make me feel like I was going to get robbed for their services.

We even had other companies come out & inspect and give us quotes, and no one else compared to Cory's demeanor & Ground Up's pricing!

Fast forward to the day of the service, and everyone in the crew was very friendly and seemed to do a great job. An even bigger plus, they took the time to introduce themselves to my dog so he wouldn't be scared of them (and my dog ended up loving them). I was so relieved when the work was done, that the dip in our floors was virtually gone. We still have a slight slope in the house, but we knew that would be the case & we are still very happy with the result.

We had ground up do our foundation. Wonderful up front. The work has been finished and we had new cracks and my floor has dropped from the baseboard in my kitchen. I ask them to come back. They did and said it is because the ground is dried finally. Well they wanted to charge me more money to come back and fix what should have been addressed from the first bid.
I spoke with Jim. He is the business partner. He could care less about my problem.
I have ask several times for Derrick to call me back. Even their office staff understands that I am just asking for my home to be fixed from the part that I originally asked them to come out for.
I feel like Corey got caught in the middle
If there had just been some care through Jim I would have felt better.
I am having to pay another company to come fix my home.
I can’t get them to come out and take a picture to show me that they even did the work I paid for.
I asked for pictures of before and after.
Still waiting for a call back.
Nothing

And they were highly recommended as a small business that cares about their customers.

After purchasing our first home, we were dismayed to learn that we needed some extensive crawl space work undertaken. We consulted several "foundation" specialists/companies before seeking an evaluation by a structural engineer due to the wildly varying nature of the remediation proposals and quotes. Kelly White at Ground Up was the only consultant who's evaluation matched that of the structural engineer, and did not include unnecessary work and costs all the other companies had diagnosed. Kelly's honest approach to evaluating our crawl space, and the options available to us, saved us thousands of dollars. Kelly worked on a plan to prioritize the different phases of work and made us feel comfortable and assured in the investment we were making. After several bad experiences with other well known companies, it was refreshing to experience working with Kelly and the Ground Up team. We felt they were trustworthy, experienced, and knowledgeable; moving forward in approving their bid. The Ground Up team provided plenty of scheduling and payment options to suit our needs.

Kelly and the team were very responsive and the work was quickly scheduled. Ground Up remained in constant contact with me throughout. The crew's showed up when the said they would, explained the work they were doing, and were willing to answer my numerous questions, walk me through their work, and thoroughly review and evaluate all aspects of the process. The guys were pleasant, worked hard, and did a great job. Very pleased with the outcome. I cannot speak more highly of Kelly and the whole Ground Up team. I will be happy to work with them in the future.

Mark was so kind and addressed all of our concerns. He was very informative and helpful. He didnt try to sell us on anything and gave us peace of mind about the structure of our home. Will definitely be using them for any future needs!

Thumbs up for GroundUP Foundation Repair.
We just went through some major repairs in our home that were completed by GroundUP and it was a very positive experience.
A corner of our house was dropping due to settling and cracks in the foundation.
We have been wanting to encapsulate the crawl space for some time so it made sense to also take care of that.
Please note that these are two separate jobs and they are not dependent on each other. It just made sense to get them both completed while we were working with GroundUP.
They did a great job on both.
When we met with their design tech he shared pictures he took of the exterior walls where the foundation cracks were causing the brickwork to move.
He also took many pictures of the crawl space so we could clearly see what was going on. We never felt that they were just trying to sell us something.
Instead, GroundUP took the time to carefully examine our home and clearly explained what our options were.
We asked a lot of questions which they took time to answer and along with the pictures they provided very precise diagrams so the proposed solutions were very easy to understand.
All emails, texts and phone calls were answered very quickly.
Many thanks to all the team members for their quick response, punctuality and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the jobs were done correctly.

Love, Love, LOVE this company. We got three estimates from three different companies, and Jamie gave us the best value and most informed estimate, by far. Jamie deserves a raise! He was super to work with. Excellent communication skills. He responded fast and was always available. What a top notch experience.

Also really loved working with Miss Kelly - in the office. She was so responsive, professional and very nice. She really made a powerfully positive first impression, illustrating just how business should be done. The right way. Treating people with care, respect and kindness. Really impressed by her professionalism and pleasant personality.

The crew Foreman was Brandon - he was an amazing Foreman. Brandon and his crew worked SO hard making sure we were happy, and clearly really cared about what we wanted, and what mattered most to us. We were so very blessed by these guys; super skilled, polite and professional. Also - even though it was dark and evening when they left, they cleaned up everything afterward! So thorough. Wow!

We will definitely be calling Ground Up Foundation back again when we do our next project. We would give 10 stars if we could.

We then contacted Ground Up Ground Repair. They came out, set up a laser and showed us that only one corner of our home needed repaired.
