Had them out to quote building a pergola for a spot in the yard - needed a concrete pad, four-post pergola with a roof, four lights, and ceiling fan. Quote was $91,000. $73,000 without retractable screens.

The quote was just for a simple four-post structure. No fireplace, no grill, no media center, no refrigerator - just four posts and a roof.

I don't know who is hiring this company, but you're paying a very high chump tax.

When initially contracted with Covered Patio (CP), I told them that I wanted the job completed by Thanksgiving and it was done. I like the finished product. The screened in patio meets our needs perfectly!!. The team that enclosed my patio was professional and courteous. Covered Patio subcontracted the electrical wiring for my ceiling fan & outlets. They did good work, but they left my patio dirty. Once I notified CP, they sent someone out to address the mess. My other issue was after the initial in-person correspondence, everything was basically handled via text/email. I know that’s how many people like it. If I call and leave you a message, then I’d prefer a call back, not just a response via text/email.
Hint… Hint…. Also, you may want to ask to do your payment through ACH because it saves you the processing fee.

Ben and Miguel were awesome!! Everyone at The Covered Patio that I spoke to, emailed with, or texted were so friendly, professional, and thorough. They answered every question we had. They were quick and the quality of their work is outstanding! We will 100% use them again and will recommend them to everyone!! Not the cheapest quote we got but because of their professionalism and the way they explained things to us we chose The Covered Patio! Thank you all!!

We had a great experience using The Covered Patio. Our new screened in porch turned out great and it was a fairly quick process and at a fair market price. We’re very excited to have this new space for our family to enjoy and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a screened in porch.

I had The Covered Patio come out and build a cover over my patio. The quality of workmanship was excellent, communication was clear throughout the project, and the finished result turned out exactly as expected. The patio cover integrates well with my home and looks great.

I would highly recommend The Covered Patio to anyone considering a covered patio.

Josh and his team did an amazing job screening in our back deck. They were quick, thorough and detailed in the work they did. They showed up when they said they would and were finished in about 6 hours! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Definitely recommend!

We love having the patio screened in. It looks great and price didn’t break the bank. The team showed up on time and only took a day and half to screen in the porch.

I love my covered patio with screens and pickets. It is beautiful. The estimating process was so easy with Cole, and Josh and the guys had it completed in two days. They were wonderful. Thanks so much to The Covered Patio!!!

These guys are amazing! We used The Covered Patio back in '22 for a simple screened porch. We were super happy with that project, so when we moved to a new home, I contacted them for an estimate on a larger project. This one was significantly more expensive, but worth every penny. I worked with Cole and Marcus on the front end; they were great during the planning stage. Josh and his crew came out to the house and wasted no time getting to it. Josh was sure to have all the details before starting the build. The final product was gorgeous! Everything was clean and crisp and done in 2 days! We definitely recommend The Covered Patio and can't say enough praise about Josh and his crew. Thank you!

Josh and his crew put up my deck cover very quickly and professionally. Josh was very friendly and updated me on the progress of the project. He even got me an estimate on a possible future update I'm considering. I would highly recommend this company.

After having a not so good experience with the contractor that built my deck, I contacted The Covered Patio. These experienced guys found and pointed out some building issues that may hinder my installation. These guys were nice enough to fix the minor issues and they were still able to install the screened portion of my deck. The Installers were professional and meticulous. It was evident they knew what they were doing. They were cohesive and looked like they enjoyed their job. These guys were great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Sorry they had the long drive home, but im glad the did. Thank you to Josh and his crew.

The Covered Patio installed our screen porch on 12/22. We are very pleased with quality of the install. The screen blends well with our house and it looks like it was part of the original home build. They communicated well throughout the process. Pricing was transparent and we had no surprises.

The covered did an amazing job on our screened in patio, from laying the concrete to installing the ceiling fans and outlets. Communication and interaction was friendly and professional. I can see why there reviews are so good and that's the reason I reached out in the first place. Thank you Covered patio!

Mr England was prompt, very professional, and friendly. He is super knowledgeable and explained to me in every day terms each item I had questions about. The report he produced is awesome.

Well to start off, getting anyone to arrive when they say they will is almost impossible. The fact that Mr. England did exactly what he said, when he said, was an A+ in my book. His knowledge of building structures, proper drainage, and the quality of materials used in our home was just the start. He gave us recommendations for a quality dehumidifier for my basement.  He even gave me some great ideas on landscaping in the future. It was like talking to someone from HGTV.  Highly recommend and a great value.

The process from the initial call to schedule and appointment to the scope of work to the design, installation to the price was very easy. the crews did a good job they arrived on time and kept us informed of what was going on (We were out of town when the work was performed) they answered any questions and concerns that we had after the work was done.
the work performed was adding downspout extensions (with pop-off valves)raising a section of floor that had settled(poor quality on the initial build of the home)and leveled the porch
I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again

The Team at Ground Up was exceptional! From the beginning quote, which was professionally and completely provided, as well as very competitive, to the excellent communication before my porch-lifting project was begun, to arriving on time, working methodically and efficiently with great attention to detail, including putting the soil and mulch that was disturbed back to original condition while being careful not to harm any of the surrounding landscaping, we could not have been more pleased with the results. Over twenty years, the porch stairs had dropped more than 6 inches and, when the job was completed, it was difficult to see/believe there had ever been a problem. I highly recommend this Company!

Kelly and his crew did an amazing job replacing an old concrete pier under my house that was sinking. They were super quick and thorough and now I have a steel beam holding things up. They stayed late to make sure everything was good to go and explained everything throughout the whole process. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Ground Up came out to repair and improve the foundation of our new-to-us home. The house was built in 1915 and saw a minor renovation and addition in the late 2000s and the addition was weighing on the original foundation, causing a crack in one corner of our basement. From start to finish, every crew member and employee was beyond professional and pleasant to work with. The project required almost three days worth of excavation and concrete work to restore the original foundation before executing their lift and pier installation. The crew was very respectful of our home and our neighbors, they communicated every step of the way and left our house looking as if nothing had ever happened. Also worth mentioning Kelly's estimate was incredibly accurate and thorough. HUGE thank you to Kelly W, Scott, and Billy for providing us with so much confidence in the foundation of our home going forward. Thanks again Ground Up!!

Did not have a great experience with Ground Up Foundation. We knew there may be some foundation issues during our home inspection as there were some notable sagging floors in the kitchen. Our home inspector also noted the sagging floors in his inspection and recommended we have a foundation specialist check out the home. Our realtor suggested Ground Up Foundation as she had a contact there. I did not speak with Ground Up prior to their inspection, as my realtor organized everything for us.

Ground Up did their inspection and noted some foundation issues in the exact same corner of the house that had the sagging floors and came back with an estimate of $3,750 to install 3 piers and correct a footer. Based on that estimate my wife and I purchased the home.

Almost immediately after they begin working to fix the foundation issues the project manager asks to speak with me. As soon as they started digging they found more issues and things turned out to be much worse then they originally thought. I’m then told the wonderful news that it’s going to be an additional $5,000 to fix the new issue.

When Ground Up returned to finish the work I mentioned the sagging floors to someone on the crew and he said the work they were doing was not related to that. More wonderful news, as this was the entire reason I got a foundation inspection in the first place. It turns out the sagging floors had absolutely nothing to do with the foundation issues they were correcting.

Once the Ground Up foundation crew finished their work I had 3 different foundation companies provide an estimate on fixing the sagging kitchen floors. Of the 3 separate foundation companies, every single one mentioned that they could not believe that a previous foundation company would have done an inspection on this house and not have mentioned the obvious issues they found that were causing the sagging floor. I then also got an estimate from Ground Up to fix the sagging floors and they were by far the most expensive of the 4 estimates I received.

All in all, not a wonderful experience. I asked for a foundation inspection because of sagging floors. Ground Up quotes us $3,750. In the end it's going to cost me $11,000+. I get that they can’t see underground to have predicted the $5,000 surprise issue, but they obviously missed a very apparent $3,000 issue (related to the sagging floors) that I could have gone after the sellers for.
