Josh Hunt is awesome! He came out first thing this morning and repaired my unit. He is very trustworthy and dependable. Definitely call him for any HVAC needs.

I really try my hardest to work with local businesses for household things. I find that the local business owners are more reliable, provide good recommendations, and are easier to work with than big/national companies.

Working with Josh epitomized all of those qualities. He came highly recommended from another well-respected business owner, Mark Nichols. When I first reached out to Josh about an issue with our HVAC unit, he was able to stop by within 30 min, give me an assessment, and fix the problem ASAP.

When another problem popped up, Josh was out of town, but he made it a priority to give me a recommendation about the right equipment to order and he was there first thing when he got back in town to do the installation.

I appreciate having someone like him locally, it gives me a sense of security that I have someone I can trust give me clear and accurate feedback, and I don't ever feel like he is taking advantage of us.

Josh is great! Patient, professional and knowledgeable! Not selling you anything, or blowing smoke to make an extra buck. After being thru the ringer a few times with another company, i had doubts on their solution. Josh came and figured out the problem in about 30 min, and fixed it for a reasonable price, same day. Hunt's Mechanical was referred to us by our daughter. Our A/C unit stopped cooling late on a Saturday. I spoke to Josh who scheduled us first thing in the morning the next day. Josh was here 10 minutes early the next morning. The capacitor in our unit needed to be replaced. The unit is back up and running. Josh was sure to double check everything before he left. Josh was very honest, professional, and knowledgeable. The cost for the repair was more than fair. We would recommend Hunt's Mechanical to anyone needing quality HVAC repairs and service.

I was manager of a data center downtown and needed someone to keep the 14 twenty five year old units operational. I had another local vendor signed up for the yearly maintenance but they were not keeping the units going good enough to keep the center cool. Josh came in and corrected all the issues and the center started to stay in the temperature range guaranteed to our customer in their contracts.Temperature is very critical in a data center due to the fact of the servers and routers creating extreme heat.
When I bought an older house this year, Josh was my go to for the tune up. Then about a month ago the blower fan started acting up. Richard came and checked it out but of course it was working when he came. I was not charge anything for this visit. After a couple days the blower fan went out completely and Josh and Richard came out and replaced the motor and the price was very reasonable. We are now getting pricing together for replacement of the unit and all the duct work under the house. Josh is the only mechanical contractor I am getting pricing from. He is my guy.

I had another pleasant experience with Hunt’s Mechanical today. I must say it exceeded my expectations. Josh Hunt does the maintenance on my heat pump every 6 months. He’s trustworthy, professional, and very knowledgeable; he answered all of my questions. It’s rare to get service that is reliable, affordable, and has great customer service!

Amazing service! Our AC went out on 4th of July and someone was there to fix it within an hour! Plus they didn’t jack up their prices due to the holiday. Josh was kind and easy going, explained what had happened as well as some suggestions for how to keep the unit going strong! After fixing the original issue he noticed something else not quite right. Even though the air was back to running normally, he came back the next morning to sort out the other issue- again without jacking the prices up or charging extra. 100% recommend due to the affordability, timeliness, great service, and great and friendly people!

Our heat broke in our rental and Brandon went above and beyond to offer great customer service and ensure the repair was timely. Would definitely recommend!

Josh was very helpful, professional and prompt. I texted him from a referral from one of my neighbors and asked to see if he could check out our HVAC unit. It wasn't running quite right but he stopped by based on our schedule and helped where he could. He made suggestions to help us not have to pay more than we needed to. Most companies would have tried to price gouge but Josh did not. I will definitely be utilizing Josh and Hunt Mechanical again in the future!

I found an awesome HVAC repairman in Joshua Hunt. I had called another HVAC company earlier in the week because my house was ridiculously humid and the AC wasn't keeping up. My AC unit was hosed off and seemed to be in good shape based on inspection, and so when I called back and told them days later the problem was not any better, I was told "that's just how it is when it's this hot out".

Flash forward to yesterday, house is up to 78° and 76% humidity INSIDE THE HOUSE, despite a 3000sqft dehumidifier AND a portable AC unit running full time. I broke down and searched hip D again where I found Josh's post. I replied to his post last night, he showed up today - on a holiday - and was able to source the root of the issue: some critter had gotten into my crawl space and ripped holes in my duct in a spot that I couldn't see from a normal vantage point.

He had the old stuff out and replaced in less than an hour, and he only charged me for parts (no labor) given the money I had already spent earlier in the week. Check out my before and after photos.

I wanted to share our awesome experience with Josh with Hunt’s Mechanical Llc. Our air conditioner went out Monday night, 8-11-25, I called Josh at 7:45 PM, He was here by 8:45 PM to look at our unit. We decided to go with a new unit and Josh had it installed by 11am on Wednesday 8-13-25. He was here exactly when he said he would be, he was very thorough, honest and very detailed in his explanations!
