Bobby was very nice and he was thorough. He also was good at explaining what he was going to do and then what he had done. He made sure I didn’t have any questions before leaving.

On time, called ahead, courteous, friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable, took care of the problem, he and his assistant were both very efficient and took care of the service requests. Earned our confidence, respect and our next service call. We asked him to also clean the dryer vent. He checked it, inside and outside and said it didn’t need cleaning - no charge. This would have been an easy additional service charge by most companies. A good ethical company…

We have a new home and Brandon from Ashbusters came out to show us how our gas logs worked. He checked everything, proclaimed it had barely been used and there was no need to clean it. We appreciated his honestly and that we didn't have to pay an extra expense. Now that we know how to use it, I suspect we'll really be enjoying it. And we'll keep using Ashbusters.

The courtesy with which Brandon worked was impeccable. He was very knowledgeable about the product, gave me options, and installed my insert within an hour. He checked thoroughly the chimney and cap for problems plus carbon dioxide. Overall a positive experience. Highly recommend.

Ashbusters installed our vent free natural gas logs device in 2021. The unit is an Empire vfse 2401. We installed it as a backup heating system, and we have only rarely used it. We needed it during the Ice storm that knocked out all our power for 4 days this past week. After about a day of operating properly the ignitor failed, and we were without heat.
I called Ashbusters and received excellent customer service on the phone when scheduling and a from the technicians who came out to make repairs. The Ashbusters employees I have dealt with either by phone or at my residence were all very professional and I have no complaints about the personnel. The technicians temporarily fixed it so we can now light it but in order to fix it permanently we need to either replace the whole unit or replace the defective part for $800 (in addition to the $300 plus it cost to get it temporarily fixed). A small plastic gear cost $800 but it is still the piece of crap gear?
I definitely do not recommend this unit!!!! The gear malfunction is a known issue. The vulnerability involves a small plastic gear that is part of the ignition process, and it is not uncommon for the teeth in this gear to break. Replacing the gear (parts and labor) is over $800 but it is made of the same material as the one that already failed and is a known vulnerability!
I do have problems with Ashbusters selling devices with known issues but not warning about those issues before we invested a significant amount of money on a piece of crap from China. Sell me junk once then you got me, but I assure you it will not happen again.

The Ashbuster's crew did a terrific job replacing the chase cap and a couple of refractory panels. The workmanship looks really good. Brad and his partner (I forgot his name) were friendly and professional, kept me updated as they worked their way through the project, and took great care of my home.

Matt with Ashbusters did a great job servicing our non vented gas logs. He cleaned and adjusted the sensors and logs so everything is working properly. He also explained how to operate the igniter and control valve. He also provided information on replacement of our 20+ year old system and recommended service intervals. I will use this company again!

Our technician was Chad. He was wonderful, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He took his time and made sure he did everything with impeccable detail. I couldn't be any happier with our installation and experience. And he was able to win over my dog as well! Highly recommended, and ask for Chad!

Brandon was quick, friendly, and explained everything clearly. He replaced the pilot light assembly in my gas fireplace and cleaned my dryer vent. Consummate professional that I would recommend to anyone. Peace of mind for safety and in case of an ice storm - thanks!

Jason was very informative and thorough in his discussion with us. I learned a great deal about gas logs and he immediately had some great solutions for us. He is also kind and very well-mannered - even took his shoes off at the door. Highly recommend him for your Ashbusters work.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Clyde, the technician who came to inspect our fireplace. He arrived right on time, was extremely professional, and so patient with all of my questions.

He came the week of Christmas and noticed that we have three young children—and somehow managed to “find” a piece of Santa’s coat in our fireplace! It absolutely made their Christmas and is a memory they’ll never forget.

Clyde recommended that we address a few items before burning a fire. Fast forward—we hadn’t gotten around to those repairs when the ice storm hit. I called him in a panic, worried about what we should do if we lost power. He spent 15 minutes on the phone calmly walking me through a plan and completely putting my mind at ease.

On top of all that, he even called to check in after we lost power to make sure we were okay.

You truly don’t find people like Clyde anymore—so genuine, patient, and incredibly helpful. Highly, highly recommend.

Ashbusters Chimney Service came out today to service our gas fireplace. They were punctual, knowledgeable, & professional throughout the process. Explained everything as they made repairs on what needed to be done and were incredibly careful to leave everything clean before they left. The fireplace is now safe to operate and we are very thankful. We would definitely recommend them again. As a side note: Matt was terrific!

Did some searching online and settled on Ashbusters to take a look at our gas fireplace/chimney. Have lived in the house for 7 years and never had an inspection, and was frankly nervous to. Bobby came over, was able to explain the process and what he was looking for, and gave our fireplace/chimney the TLC it deserved. Photo is the gunk pulled out before even cleaning the flue, and doesn't even show the shop vac.

Will recommend to anyone on the fence!

Jason Tucker came by to quote me on installing a wood burning stove insert in my fireplace. He was very knowledgeable and I asked him a lot of questions that he was able to answer so I could make an informed decision about my purchase. Rob Crips did the installation and he was very kind, helpful, thorough, and respectful of my place. The installation happened a week after the ice storm and it was raining outside and just very wet and messy. Rob and his colleague kept a really great attitude during what I expect was a challenging day for doing a job like this. I had a great experience with Ashbusters and will be calling them again.

I bought a set of gas logs from ashbusters last year and they have been outstanding. The logs have worked great, especially during our recent ice storm. Matt Keatts has been great, from advising us on what to get, conducting and overseeing installation, and most recently walking me through changing batteries etc. He always answers his phone. He is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about his job and making sure we are happy. Strongly recommend Ashbusters!!!
