Chop removed a 60 year old Pinnacle Oak from our backyard without removing our fence. They quoted a reasonable price and completed the work quickly. We really miss the tree but I'm glad we hired Chop!

We have been so pleased with services from Chop! They did considerable amount of tree trimming and removal. They were careful, thorough, professional and reasonable! On a recent visit we asked them to properly install a toddler swing from a tree in the back yard. They did a great job! Done Right!

I had the Chop fellas to the house for a pretty big job. 6-7 massive trees removed. Two days of solid work. They did an amazing job, I wouldn’t consider anyone else, neither should you. A+ boys.

Then, I saw a news segment about a tree that fell on a house, and Chop Nashville was "B Roll footage" featured, showcasing their impressive tools and efficient work, but the segment was about the homeowner, the tree, and insurance. I immediately knew they were the right choice.
Drew with Chop Tree Service did a thorough walkthrough, documenting my requests with photos in an emailed proposal and cost estimate. The work was completed efficiently, and the cleanup was excellent. My property and my neighbor's property were completely unharmed. I highly recommend Chop Tree Service for all your tree care needs.

I contacted Chop at 3am before pending winter storm that was calling for Ice to see if they could come out and trim a tree of mine that was encroaching some power lines. I was contacted back within few hours and we got a plan together and they had someone out here to take care of it around 3pm which work perfectly for me. Tree looks great and one less thing I have to worry about with the winter storm. Very seamless process from beginning to end and price was more than reasonable even more so it was so last minute on my end.

Chop and Drew were exceptional. We had a large project to clear, transplant, and prune trees and they did it all. Fantastic service, communication, and work. They transplanted 3 30’ Hollies and it was remarkable! Highly recommend!

My husband and I have worked with many tree service companies at our home for decades, so we’ve seen different approaches to tree care firsthand. After talking with JonEric of Chop Nashville, it was evident that he was very intelligent and highly knowledgeable about tree care. Unlike other tree companies, the Chop Nashville team was not going to merely top off the trees. There was a better way and they were going to use it as they tended to the trees on our property. As arborists they take great pride in their work and want to ensure that tree care is done properly.

So, when it was time to remove the 3 huge Bradford Pears lining our driveway and directly between our house and our neighbors, there was no one my husband and I trusted more to take the trees down safely than Chop Nashville. We were very happy with their work and how they cleaned up the property afterwards.

In a word the Chop Nashville Team is outstanding and they are now our forever arborists. We were so pleased with their work on all the trees surrounding our house and look forward to working with the Chop Nashville Team again in the future.

I highly recommend this company. After losing the bulk of a large tree during a storm on a Saturday evening, I began to look for someone to clear it off my neighbor’s property. The tree was on a steep hill and required special equipment to lift it. Companies who had worked for me before were not available to call on the weekend, so I tried Chop Nashville. The man who came out on Sunday afternoon was very nice and said his people could be out the next morning. He told me about his business and his employees, and I was sold.

The next morning three very large vehicles arrived, I left, and the crew got to work. One of the highest compliments came from my neighbor whose property was affected. He was home the whole time and was highly complimentary, saying the workers could not have been nicer.

They left the base of the tree at my request, cleaned the area and closed the gate as they left. I would definitely use them again.

Scooby and his crew took care of our trees after the ice storm. They were incredibly professional, knowledgable, and kind. They answered my questions before they started, worked very hard, and took obvious measures regarding safety and efficiency. I felt at ease while they were on our property.

After a devastating ice storm, SavATree came out and did fast work to remove a massive branch from our roof and clean up all of the dangerous branches that were still hanging from the trees and littering our yard. Their courteous, kind and knowledgeable staff were great from scheduling to the actual service. I fully recommend them

This past fall, we had a few trees trimmed and de-vined on our property. Julia quoted my fiance $1,200 to $1,800 with a discount she said would be about 30%. When we got the bill, it was $1,800. My fiance reminded Julia about the discount and how this was the absolute max quote. Julia feigned ignorance and did nothing about it.
Now, this past week, I checked in with SavATree to see what they could do about trees that had fallen in the storm, not knowing this was the company my fiance had worked with. They quoted a bare minimum of $3,000 (btw: I’ve gotten quotes as low as $1,300 for this job). When I returned communication with Liz, I told her that we had been overcharged during our last experience and asked her what she could do rectify this. She sent no response.
This company is clearly based on the mission of surge pricing in the higher real estate areas, doing bare minimum decent work and not doing anything about bad feedback or reviews.
Take for example their response to Mary 4 months ago: “ We hope that as time goes by, you will be able to reevaluate the situation and see things in a different light.”
What a joke!
Stay away from this scam business. They pretend to be an upstanding business but really just want to OVERCHARGE and run away once they’ve been paid…even after we gave them multiple chances to make it right.

Andrew and Julia were courteous, professional and incredibly informative throughout the entire process. Their pricing was reasonable, and in the midst of the ice storm we were especially grateful for how hard they worked and how willing they were to help. They truly went above and beyond and far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them. 5 Stars!

We had our Japanese Maple trimmed by this company. They said they trim Japanese Maples, which have to be trimmed in a certain way. I was told they will have 2 guys and a ladder and other equipment for safety, that is why it cost so much, $600 for 1 tree. One guy showed up, no ladder, only a trimmer. He was done in 1/2 hr. I couldn't tell he did anything. He did a little more. It looks awful, all these shoots coming out of the top. I called another company and they said they can't do anything till it's much cooler in the fall or it would damage the tree. They were amazed at how bad this tree looked. Totally unacceptable!!

In August 2025, I had a large ash tree in my back yard that had to be cut due to being eaten by the Emerald Ash Borer. A SavATree arborist, who initially came out and assessed the tree, determined it could not be saved, and was too far gone to put a climber in it. So, they had to bring in a large lift to cut it. Everything was done to the highest of safety standards. This is a very professional company that does outstanding work. They also trimmed two other trees as part of this job, and both turned out beautifully. The crew of four that was onsite all day was very nice, and respectful to our property. Everything was cleaned up nicely, and fixtures in the yard were all put back as they found them. Whenever we need tree work in the future, I know who I’m calling. Highly recommend SavATree.
Edit: November 2025: SavATree came back out this month and planted a Bur Oak in the spot where the ash once stood. They took great care with the whole process, which was quite a job, since it was an 18-foot tree. Thank you again for your quality work!
