Joey (owner/operator) and his crew did an excellent job from giving a fair/reasonable estimate to completion of the quite difficult job of removing a large and leaning (over a swimming pool/deck) oak tree using ropes and climber. it was difficult to do without damaging the pool/deck beneath it but they pulled it off flawlessly. I might add that they have a fully equipped business with cherry picker truck, grinder, trailer and misc. tractors etc. They are just the best.

Excellent experience. Joey was quick to respond to an inquiry through the website and scheduled time to come out for a one time cut quote. He took my CC info over the phone and came back out a few days later on schedule for the cut. Well done and we will be looking to use Joey bi weekly moving forward.

CUT did a wonderful job mowing our grass. Joey was very professional, friendly and was able to mow our grass on the same day we called. We would highly recommend his lawn care services.

My husband and I were new to the area and really needed someone to handle the lawn mowing as well as cutting some trees down around our property. Joey was very timely in removing all 4 large trees and did an excellent job cleaning up. Due to his great service and wonderful, positive attitude, we will continue to use him for all of our services here in Nashville!

Joey has helped me three times. He is friendly and professional and makes sure the trees look great when he leaves. He is honest about what does and does not need to be done. He cares about trees and his customers. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

Joey has been refreshing to work with in a field that seems unreliable and unable to communicate. He is always texting updates on schedule due to weather issues and is very friendly. He asked my husband exactly what pattern he wanted the grass cut so we appreciated those details. He has a nice website, branded truck and comes across as very professional. We would recommend him to anyone looking for cutting/edging services.

When storms caused an enormous maple tree to fall on our house, Joey responded quickly and efficiently to remove the tree. His prompt attention allowed us to move ahead on schedule with the insurance adjuster and contractor repairs. Communication was always prompt and professional, and the service was executed flawlessly. Cut Lawn Care is the best! I spoke with Joey, he was so kind and helpful! Joey went to my house that day to give me a bid on what it would cost to mow, weed wack and blow my yard. Their pricing is super reasonable! Also they cut my yard the same day because I was in a crunch! I will definitely be using them again!

I am new to the area. I am not in town full time and desperately needed my lawn to be cut. After calling several lawn services and not being able to get anyone to come and cut my grass, before I left town again, I called CUT Lawn and tree services. Found the number on line. Even though I am not within the area that Joey typically services he was willing to come and give me a one time service and did an amazing job. That is what I call customer service! I am only upset because he will not be able to come on a regular basis because I am out of his service area. Joey is professional and cares about the work he does. This was a great experience The price was reasonable too. I would highly recommend cut lawn & tree service!

Joey came to our house to remove a tall Ash tree that had died. He and his crew did an incredible job cutting down the tree, grinding the stump and cleaning up everything. I found Joey's company based on reviews and after having him and his crew remove a very large tree in our yard I would never use anyone else. They are very professional, friendly, and actually care about making you, as the customer, happy with the results. They took the time to do it right, watched out for other trees in our yard, and cleaned up everything before leaving so that you'd never even know they were there. And on top of all of this, their prices are great too!

We had an excellent experience with everyone involved with Moore & Smith Tree Care----start to finish and everything in between. Can't say enough on how impressed we were. They were timely in all aspects (returning the phone message, getting out to give the estimate, doing the work, and keeping me abreast of the schedule / plan). This was extraordinary. In our attempts to get various work accomplished, most contractor companies have been 'trying' to say the least. Moore & Smith came highly recommended, by word of mouth.

Kasandra immediately impressed me with her professionalism towards being earth friendly-green, and experienced. She was also flexible on her approach and the timing in giving the estimate. The crew went above and beyond to satisfy my husband and I with the debris, and the price. We were amazed at how thorough Philip and his employees were...contentious of safety the whole time, both theirs and the safety of the children who will be in our yard. His knowledge and experience was reassuring. They not only cut out more dead branches as preventative, without a cost increase, but also put up two rope swings. The men were always respectful; no cussing, no littering....Top Notch. Nice people. Thank-you!

I would highly recommended Moore & Smith! Their pricing is fair and reasonable. They are extremely knowledgeable and want to make certain that whatever landscaping is done preserves the trees/landscape, while maintaining the desire aesthetic of the property. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The crew came out and were very efficient in removing the landscape trees and they cleaned all the property up nicely. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

Unprofessional! I expect professionals to honor a signed contract, and any disagreement within your company stays there. I do not appreciate an owner trash talking new employees to me the customer. If you think your workers are "missing things" in their proposal, that is your fault as the owner/ manager and not my fault as the customer. Talking to a customer this way about your internal issues reflects poorly on you, not your employee.
Initially I received a proposal for $2850 for tree removal + $450 for stump grinding. A few days later, my bid was lowered to $2600 + $450. I signed the contract and sent a 20% deposit in good faith.
A couple days later, owner Kasandra arrived unannounced to do a revised estimate, complained about working 100 hours a week, and talked poorly of her new employees who "miss things", then proceeded add $1200 to the bid. We already had a signed contract! Now it's $3850 + $450. She said if I didn't approve she would refund my deposit immediately.
I thought about this, and wrote back that I would agree to the first proposed amount. M&S did resolve this situation by subbing out the job to Christian Cuts, who did a fine job with a nice crew of guys for $2850. Beware of the bait and switch. Do yourself a favor and skip Moore & Smith and go straight to Christian Cuts or another professional team.

It's rare these days that you find a company to perform work for you that you can trust, especially with tree work. We worked for 4 months to find someone to meet our criteria of safety, fully insured, and someone we felt comfortable with to remove a very large dangerous tree from our property. Kassandra made us very comfortable on day 1 with her knowledge and proposal. Phillip, Rowdy and their team were on time, every day on a multi day job. Safety was their primary consideration, They approached us at every turn to keep us informed us how they were going to approach every aspect of this very dangerous job. Extremely conscientious and fairly priced. Fully knowledgeable, licensed and insured. I will never use anyone else ever again.

I called five different arborists to inspect the two large oak trees in my front yard hoping they could be saved but knowing better seeing all the signs of decline on these trees. They all verified that the trees needed to come down. Jessie, from Moore and Smith, noticed other branches hanging over my roof from another oak tree in my side yard and suggested having those lower branches removed and lifting the tree canopy to avoid future problems. That was something I had not even noticed until she pointed it out. I felt confident that they would do the best job and they gave me a very fair quote. They had also come highly recommended by my son who had them removed several trees from his property. The quality of their work lived up to my expectations but what really impressed me was how they dealt with a problem during the final stage of the tree removal. Surrounding my oaks was a very large, circular, brick retaining wall almost two feet high and I noticed that it had been cracked in two places and that portion of the wall between the two cracks had moved forward. I called Jessie immediately and she said not to worry that they would fix the problem. She then called the owner who didn't hesitate to respond and he called me within minutes to apologize and to tell me that he would be out first thing in the morning to repair the wall and that I was not to worry because he was very knowledgable in this area. I honestly could not figure out how they were going to be able to repair the damage but he was true to his word and was here first thing this morning and he did a great job of repairing the wall. It's good to know and do business with people of integrity.

I hired Moore & Smith because they had good reviews and are te fully licensed and insured. Rowdy and his team did a great job removing our river birch. They were safety conscious for the crew and careful not to damage our property (some of the tree branches hung over our deck). The boom truck couldn’t reach far enough into our backyard, so Rowdy climbed the tree and took down the tree in stages. They cleaned up after the job was complete, removing all branches and blowing away wood chips and sawdust and fallen leaves. Well pleased with their work!

Cory and the rest of the team at Moore & Smith have been great assets in helping us feel safe in the house we live in. They’ve been out here for us a few times when neighbors trees have caused damage and to trim back limbs hanging too close to our own roof. They’re knowledgeable about their work and are fast while still being safe. I recommend them without reservation.

I am so happy we used Moore & Smith! I called yesterday morning to schedule a quote on having work done on an oak. I was very surprised that I would be able to get a quote on the same morning and ended up getting the tree trimmed that afternoon! This oak had been neglected for many years and was an absolute mess, it was even hanging on our roof. The guys were able to artistically prune the tree, so that it looks gorgeous! Way better than I ever imagined! They also cleaned up my other oaks and my whole back yard! They went above an beyond and really exceeded my expectations! The whole crew was so polite and really cared about doing a great job! You can tell these guys have been doing this along time! If you are searching for a tree company call them first you won't regret it!

Great experience! I had a Live Oak in dire need of some help and Moore and Smith stepped up to the effort. They are a very experienced crew and did a fine job of fixing up my tree. They are very customer focused and extremely professional. I would definitely use their services again.
