Janet and Faith did a FANTASTIC job in cleaning my house. They were punctual and efficient. The ladies were both very polite and professional. This is my first time using a cleaning service, and I will be using them again. The ladies were such a BLESSING.

WARNING: DO NOT USE MOLLY MAIDS OF SMYRNA! I booked Molly Maids for a move out cleaning. I explained to four people, two managers and two cleaners, that everything on the list had to be completed. I was told they will do everything, but clean the walls. They arrived on time at 9:45.
I had an appointment to attend to and let them clean. When I returned, there were many things NOT completed. Things I had to do before the final walkthrough. I called the office and a manager called me back. I told her I was livid and she said after my walkthrough to let them know what was said. Before the walkthrough started, I took pics and sent them to the Molly Maids manager. She was making excuses about the carpet cleaners being there after the cleaners were done and causing footprints. I told her it was prints from my cat that had walked in the fireplace before we left. They weren't human prints. I sent her pictures of the floors not being mopped, the counters not cleaned, the refrigerator not cleaned 100% (which was really bad, but this is what they are hired for), the deck not swept, the oven not cleaned, the cabinets were not wiped down, and the valet trash can wasn't cleaned. After the walkthrough I was only charged for the oven not being cleaned, $10. When I called her, I told her and she said she would take $10 off for the oven charge and she would give me an additional $30 off. When she sent the receipt it only showed $30 off. Then the total price listed was VERY high. $200. It was for 2.5 Hours of cleaning. That meant the cleaners would have been there from 9:45 - 12:15. However, the carpet cleaners arrived about 12:10 and no one was there. He actually called me to ask him to let him into the apartment because no one was answering the door. Proof they weren't there until 12:15, making their billing statement a falsification. I sent the manager a message and told her they weren't there until 12:15 and I received no response. When I spoke with the carpet cleaning guy, he said they hadn't vacuumed either. I am BEYOND livid with this company and will make sure EVERYONE knows how horrible their service is.

Overall, the move-out cleaning service was helpful. I was hoping for a deeper clean, but would still employ their services if I had it to do over. I didn't want to be the guy that follows them around with a white glove so I stood back and let them do their thing. In hindsight, I should have just been awkward and micro-managed the cleaning.

I have performed make-ready cleaning of foreclosed homes in the past and was expecting the same level of cleaning. What the maids performed was a wipe-down of surfaces. The tub cleaning, windows, refrigerator, oven, and general wipe-down were huge time-savers for me.

What could have been improved upon:
- kitchen sink was wiped down, but not scrubbed. I'll have to do this myself.
- oven was cleaned well, but was not wiped out fully. It was visibly still wet and gritty in the bottom and around the walls. I was able to fully clean that up with two paper towels. Easier than cleaning the oven myself, but I would have liked to have seen the job finished.
- kitchen counters seem to have been missed. A quick wiping will have them clean, but this should have been done.
- the top of the refrigerator was missed.
- kitchen cabinets were supposed to be wiped out, but were missed either wholly or in-part. A quick visual inspection shows that I need to address those.

In general, while there are opportunities for improvement, the service was a huge time-saver and the maids were very pleasant.

They’re always late. When they came HOURS late they rang the doorbell and knocked once then left - I was in the bathroom and they said they call when they’re on the way and they NEVER did except for the first time. We used them 3 times and tipped! The 3rd time they came it was obvious they barely cleaned. The bathroom and kitchen floors are still dirty, my shower is still dirty, and they don’t clean around doorknobs. The last time they came I don’t know if it was because I was downstairs but they didn’t vacuum either.
We will be canceling our service with them.

This company is amazing! Bill, the president, is super hands on! He is polite and involved. Every time I call, he answers! & They have great customer service. I had an issue one time and he sent a team out the next day to correct my issues! Hands down the best cleaners I have used!

Molly Maid came out and cleaned my old rental home and my new rental home. Love their work! The floors are so clean!

I'll preface by saying that I used to work for a luxury home cleaning service, so my standards are probably pretty strict. Over all, I'm satisfied with the job that was done - the house looks and smells nice, and it was definitely in need of a deep clean (very dusty, sticky gross surfaces, awful floors and baseboards) so the attendants did put in a lot of work.

Pros:
One of the attendants was polite and very hard working, and I felt good about paying for her time in my home. They took the trash with them, while most companies I'm familiar with just takes it to the garbage can outside. They also clean your windows, which a lot of companies don't include! Finally, they run promotions, so I was able to use a coupon.

Cons:
One of the attendants was a bit rude and unprofessional (she took personal calls while on the job, consistently spoke to me in an annoyed tone, and left all of the hardest rooms for the other attendant). I didn't feel comfortable paying for her time since dusting and vacuuming three pretty well-maintained rooms took her as long as it took her partner to scrub three embarrassingly dirty bathrooms and a kitchen. Unfortunately I had to sign off for both of them as being "completely satisfied", and the other attendant really did work very hard.
I was pretty disappointed by the price point ($240 for a 2 person/3 hour clean) to clean our 1,546 sqft duplex. At my old company, I regularly cleaned a decently-maintained 3,994 sqft 3-story house from top to bottom by myself for $120/6 hours, and an always very dirty 2,347 sqft 2-story for $190/8 hours (also by myself). I feel that my former company had much stricter standards for the finished product, too, but I wanted to give Molly Maid a try.
Finally, there were a few things that I found odd and a little unprofessional about the service. For example, they don't rearrange things in the room back how they were, especially in bathrooms. I can understand not everything being put back exactly as it was found, but they left trash cans, plungers, and anything found in the floor (including a hairy cat toy in the half bath) sitting on the newly-cleaned surfaces (the objects left rings, grime, and hair behind). Also, the finish on the floors looked really terrible. Our floors are mostly laminate faux-wood boards and most anything leaves a bit of a film on them (I hate our floors so I didn't expect them to look great or anything), but there were really visible white spots left on every board as though they were just mopped with water or possibly even something abrasive. To be fair, I was asked if there was any special product I'd like used on the floors, but I assumed the company supplied its own good products for the job so I declined. Also, it seemed like most of the dusting was done as a quick sweep in front of objects on a surface. My invoice said "deep clean", but some surfaces still had dust, hair, and even my kiddo's oatmeal smears and my cat's dirty paw prints, so I think the surfaces were just dusted and not damp-wiped as with most deep cleans. Lastly, the service uses very harsh products compared to other companies. The hard-working attendant had to excuse herself to catch her breath outside during the cleaning, and when I checked on her later the other attendant told me "Yeah, she mixed bleach and acid in the bath and didn't know you're not supposed to do that" (I can only assume she meant ammonia, but it's still not very comforting).

TL;DR: My home was left fresh and clean just like I'd wanted, but for much more than you might pay elsewhere for a more thorough job. Ultimately it's a great before and after, and I'm appreciative of the job that was done, but you might want to look around for other cleaning services.

Unfortunately, I have to give zero stars for this "business". I scheduled this team to clean about a month ago, four hours before I scheduled a deep carpet cleaning team. They were a no show at their proper time and called me long after the carpet cleaners left to announce that they were standing at my door and no one was home. This appointment was a confirmed appointment. Just in case anyone thought that this could be a mix up of the appt. time, I rescheduled them again today and a twice confirmed 8:15/9:15 appointment was a 2ND NO SHOW...leaving me scrambling again. I'm reviewing so that someone else will not waste their time as I have with these past two incidents.

I am very disappointed in the service that was provided from the branch in Smyrna, TN. I selected the “move in” service in which vacuuming, base board cleaning, the basics, floor mopped and window seals were to be completed. I came home and there was still soap scum and grime on the sink fixtures; I was able to clean it with a little pressure. There was still dog hair from previous owners near toilet seats, floor wasn’t mobbed at all and just didn’t seem like they did much. I literally went back and cleaned everything again. It was a waste of money and they would not work with giving a refund. Just claiming to get someone else over. The lady who answered as the office manager was the same girl who was out in the field. No one ever called back to speak with us either as requested. I applauded Molly Maids before and now I don’t want to recommend them because of the customer service and job.

Faith and Hope did a great job cleaning my house! My wife and I have been traveling for much of the summer, and our house needed a deep clean in a bad way. They showed up on time, were professional, worked efficiently, and, most importantly, cleaned the house perfectly! After some quick rate shopping, this also seemed to be the most affordable option.

I was a bit disappointed and figured I couldn’t really make a complaint about the “cleaning” because, how does one prove that the toilet was left dirty and nothing was swept? The windows were not cleaned as I was told they would be. I appreciated the ceiling fans dusted but I was told the cabinets in kitchen would be wiped down and they weren’t. The 200$ “move in special” was not worth it. I had to clean it all myself again. I I will not be hiring molly maids again.

If you’re smart you will not spend your money using Molly MaidThe two girls that came and cleaned for me just gave it a swipe here and there The girl that was the team leader had to redust and vacuum where the other girl did the first time because she did such a terrible job and because of that it took away the time she was supposed to be focusing on the areas that were her responsibility The same girl did not vacuum the kitchen before she mopped it I ended up having to clean over my apartment after they left I couldn’t take advantage of people like they do

After being there for barely and hour, they left crumbs, hair, dust, and smudges on all surfaces. They also permanently stained our countertops and still charged us. It is completely unacceptable that they caused property damage and they still charged us. It should of been a full refund.

They need to find new people to clean because these people clearly didn’t know how or didn’t care to do any proper cleaning. Had to spend several hours afterwards cleaning after they left. I will never use this company again.

To say that I was disappointed in my Molly Maids service today is a severe understatement. Though the girls were nice and friendly, I felt they were inadequately trained. None of my surfaces (shelves, night stands, etc.) were wiped down, I found pieces of litter on the floor, and the bed was not made. Since I am moving, one of my bedrooms had no furniture in it other than a lamp. This lamp was not even moved out of the way to vacuum the corner it was in. The greatest atrocity was how they cleaned the ceiling fan that was directly over the mattress I am sleeping on. TONS of dust fell all over my bed, which was left there for me to clean and wash. When booking the appointment, I asked that the ashes of my fireplace be swept out and was told this would not be a problem. The girls who cleaned the house said they couldn't because it was a fire hazard. They did not even open a single closet, including the laundry closet or the hot water heater closet. When I called to explain my situation, i was given half of my money back; I still paid $80, which I feel is absurd. Can you imagine paying $160 for this service? Please do not consider giving Molly Maids your business for a moving clean. I only hope that my experience saves someone else the trouble. Cleaning up after the cleaners is a frustrating process.

Janet and Cathy were amazing! They cleaned everything really well. We called same day and they came out within an hour of when we called. They were professional and efficient! We totally recommend their team!

Molly Maid was the best decision I've made in a long time. The 2 ladies that came out, went straight to work with their own cleaners and equipment, got down to business right away . The house was immaculate and smelled so fresh and clean, it made me feel so good getting that work done and look I forward to continuing with their services. If you have not tried it, it was so much more affordable than I ever thought and the results were worth every penny. I highly recommend Molly Maid to anyone who is looking to spend more quality time with their family and needs a break after coming home from working all day to clean, immaculate , fresh home!

Brandy and Sarah from Route 1 just finished with my initial cleaning and I couldn’t be more pleased with their efforts and the subsequent results. They were very polite and courteous, and worked very efficiently to complete the initial cleaning much faster than I would have expected. I am looking forward to reaping the benefits of their services as I continue with semi-monthly cleanings in the future.

Molly Maid in Davidson & Rutherford County is fantastic! Brandy and Sarah are the ladies who take such good care of me and my home. They clean everything much better than I can. They notice the little things that are easy to miss. They are very professional, and yet feel like friends, too. They take the time to know me, my family, and even greet my pets with enthusiasm. They work conscientiously and carefully, and have earned my complete trust. These ladies go above and beyond minimum requirement every single time they come to my home, in addition to graciously going that extra mile for me if I'm having company. Janet & Isela were amazing while cleaning my apartment. Not only did they arrive early but they removed marks that I did not think we're going to come out. I am more than pleased with my experience and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. I greatly appreciate Molly Maid for sending Molly Miracle Workers!!!

I was told 2 people would come for 2 and 1/2 hours to do a deep cleaning including oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, blinds, and much more. They were suppose to call me before they mopped the floors so I could look at the work they did. I returned to the house 1 and 1/2 hours later to get something and the were gone. I called them and asked them about leaving. They said I didn't answer but they texted me not called. When I went inside I could see that the had mopped but there were specials of dirt on the floors. Oven was not touched, freezer cleaned but a frozen pea was still in it. The fridge had been hastily wiped out but was still dirty. The toilets hadn't been scrub, some blinds still dusty and dirty. Cabinets in kitchen and bath not wiped off. I was in disbelief. I texted them and let the know I was dissatisfied. They were just going to freezer me a $20 discount but did not offer to come back and clean it. My daughter called and the woman who cleaned was very rude to her. The boss was not going to be back for a week so we could not talk to him. I have not received any kind of communication from the manager and I had to move before talking to him. I had to personally redo and clean the house myself adding more stress to an already stressful situation
I will never use the cleaning company again and I will not recommend them. On their website they have a warranty that if you are not satisfied they will redo the job. I just got ignored.
