5th time I use Allen's. 3rd time disappointed with their service. On this occasion, I called them out to unstop a grease line. Two technicians arrived. The 1st technician had to leave right away because he had to pick up his paperwork in order for me to sign a liability release form. The 2nd technician couldn't start work until the 1st technician arrived. We don't mind paying them for the time it takes them to do the work and the time it takes them to pick up and drop off the jetter truck. But we do mind being charged 30 mins to an hour for the time it takes the technician to pick up the paperwork from the office because he forgot. He did not like when we told him we won't be paying for that loss time. He got upset and left as if it was our fault he forgot the paperwork.

I then called their office and explained what happened. The secretary told me they don't do paper, everything they do is paperless and that the technician wouldn't leave the job for something like that. Apparently I was making things up. It's when I told her that why didn't the 2nd technician start the work while waiting on the 1st technician? Because even the 2nd technician acknowledged that they had to wait on the 1st technician to arrive with the paperwork! Allen's can verify their GPS on their trucks.

After the secretary somewhat believed us, she said the technicians won't be going out again. Even their manager would back them up on it.

We are the customer. We are paying them. I guess customer service isn't the same as it used to be just because you hurt a technician's feelings. Pansy.

I was overcharged for work at my home. I mailed in my invoice, a check, and a letter detailing how my security camera captured the Tri State crew leaving after a total of 6 hours at time and a half. I was charged for 8 hours. The only reply I have received is they cashed my check.

We needed some warranty work on a Bosch dishwasher and they had Allen's Mechanical come out. They showed up days before I was told by the factory. The tech, Kellen showed up when he said he would. Not only polite, he did excellent work. I can't commend his work ethics and professionalism enough.
I would recommend Allen's and Kellen in the future.

The reason I contacted them was I was looking for Bolton Electric. Allen's had purchased them. I'm glad they were available for an urgent need, but I was billed for 6 man hours inaccurately. 3 max. They acted like union workers. They found the problem & fixed it, but left the wires exposed w/ no cover. Not contacting them again.

Kellen and Taylor installed a giant refrigerator for us. They did a fantastic job. It was a very difficult task getting it together and perfect and they got it done.

These company’s anma and goes above and beyond to deliver. From the call to the receptionist to the guys who came a did the work. Phenomenal service and impeccable work. Cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

I'm a manager with Ashley Furniture and we've been dealing with other companies for years to fix our AC units that are very old and on their last leg. Mark Mendoza was sent out to assist us with the extreme heat and AC units down making us and our customers uncomfortable. He worked very hard to get what he could going and on and the temp in our store has drastically changed making it more comfortable for us all. Thank you Mark and team for helping us get our store back to a comfortable level and I appreciate your help and informing us of all the issues and updates!

The guys did a great job replacing our water heater. Be aware of the cost!!! It was a big surprise when I received the invoice! Labor for two guys was extremely high, $840!! Said it took 3-1/2 hours to install. That must have included the time it took to go get the water heater and parts needed. All I know is after the fees added came to over $2000….crazy to us!

Allen’s provides exceptional service, with friendly, knowledgeable technicians. Austin and his team are fast and accurate, and have taken wonderful care of my all my commercial needs. 10/10 would recommend 10 times over!

Terrible driving almost killed me and my family with their truck. Speeding and started charging the lane with no signal and right into my car. Thanks God there were three lanes on i40 and I was able to escape there. Otherwise we all were dead. This company must have their license revoked. Dangerous for other people.

This is a high quality company with high quality work. They have worked in our house from plumbing to gas lines to electric and heat and air. We have never been disappointed. They may have higher prices but remember you get what you pay for. Thank you Allen's for being such a longstanding family company in Amarillo.

Our hvac system just stopped working while we were on vacation ( of course). My daughter was home with my sister Inlaw. Three weeks later, multiple visits from Ryan and his team nothing was working. They had truly tried everything! Ryan advocated for us to the supplier and even went as far as to go meet with them in person. Finally we had a solution at a cost much lower than even the work they had into it. They truly went above and beyond. It is safe to say another company would have just said tough and moved on. Not Ryan he fought for us and did everything in his power to actually help us.

Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They kept me informed, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt confident in every decision.
