They came out and did a great job. Says they'd be there at 1 and showed up at 1. They even call to let you know they're on the way. Great customer service.

Last time when we had a clogged in our bathrooms, they charged us $175; and this time the price is outrageous!! How do u go from charging $175 to $531? Their timeliness is excellent, but to be chargin your regular or new costumer this ridiculuos price for just running a snake into the pipe is absurb! Thanks but no thanks!

My 89 year old grandmother has been without water for 2 days... I had called another plumber to fix a stoppage that is backing up in the whole house.. I get my free estimate from him because there is apparently a bigger problem with the cleanout, he can't snake it. Ok. So I call roto-rooter to get a 2nd estimate on cleaning it out.. all is well. I am told it will be no problem I can clean that out. Tells me 120$ to clean it out.. (I have told him the previous plumber couldn't snake it) Of course I happily tell him yes! So he starts the snake process and then comes back & tells me the same thing the last plumber told me.... That I had told him?! Only he still has to charge me 120$.. because. Once we said yes to the estimate.. which was to snake the line(no problem) I was told... He had to charge me full price & could not leave until he was paid! For nothing!!! To tell me what we already knew!!! All I'm saying is Beware! I will say they were able to get to us very quickly.

I had a gas issue and they came to my house in 30 minutes, found the issue and fixed it in less than an hour. Mike the technician was fast and did great. I'll use them again anytime.

You guys came to my mother in laws yesterday and wow the rudeness and the audacity makes me sick. It costed $85 to get what she needed fixed by ANOTHER company when you guys wanted to charge her $500. She dodged a bullet then.Didnt even go to her residence to check what was wrong. She had the gas company meet her there, why would she lie about that? She had a gas leak... Eff you guys.

I have used Roto-Rooter on a couple occasions and have found them to be honest and dependable and very courteous. And on another note I have been in construction all my life and I can detest that plumbers are underpaid. People gripe about what it cost to have a plumber come out and these guys are more reasonably priced than most yet trust me they earn their money. And the same goes with heating and air.

Just needed a drip pan installed under my water heater. They convinced me I needed a whole new one. So I paid the $1300. Waited days for inspection-which it didn’t pass. Had to wait for a fix. When he fixed it, he didn’t take pics. He also had installed the hot and cold lines backwards.
(On top of that, the installation caused debris to slow the water flow in my lines-which was solved by Scottco clearing the filters. Super simple but Roto Rooter claimed there was no fix other than replacing the pipes in my yard which would be another $4k.)

Waited on him to come back-dude didn’t show up, and no one in the office knew what the deal was, never got a call back.
I called again and they sent someone new. That guy took the pics but claimed he didn’t know he was supposed to fix the lines. So he said he’d be back with some longer lines but told his office I was gunna set an appointment for that.
It’s been a nightmare the whole time, and I feel like they just did everything they could to take advantage of my lack knowledge for money. Go elsewhere.

These guys did a great job. Kenny was the person that showed up and there was another guy, didn’t catch his name though.
Very professional and down to earth and got the job done. I will tell all friends about the great service they provided.

This company does not take responsibility for their actions. Sent a "drain specialist" come out on Monday. In the process of pulling the toilet to clean the line, he broke my cut off line. Had to call a different tech to help him - they left the line under the ground leaking which flooded my bathroom floor. Called them back & they sent yet another inept technician who also left it leaking. Called back in the weekend and was told they don't do repairs on the weekend. Better hope they don't mess up in the process of fixing what ails you.

I have been using Roto-Rooter for 20+ years and have never had a bad experience with them. Everyone from the receptionists to the plumbers that come out to my house are always friendly and knowledgeable professionals who not only give you an estimate upfront and stick to it but are usually on time if not early. Great company with great employees. If you need a plumber call Roto-Rooter you will not be sorry.

On the surface they seem professional. I called them on a Saturday afternoon. A tech said he would call me right back and didn't. He called back an hour later all while I got running water from a leak in my house. Tech called back an hour later. By that time I have found an plumber. Tech get mad and rudely hangs up.

Called yesterday for appointment for some plumbing issues. I was able to plan a day ahead to have them come out. Josh the tech was on time, knew what issues to address and started working. He had to leave to pickup the correct parts that needed to be replaced. When he was at part store, he reached out to the office to call me with a price. When I felt like I could get a better price at local hardware store, RotoRooter was fine with me getting my own part. Josh did the replacement and repairs. The shop sent over another tech to check for gas leak. All techs were very polite and let me know what was going on every step of the way. The job was completed in a very timely manner and the cost for all three issues was very reasonable. I have used RotoRooter for over 20 years now. Their work is guaranteed and they do a great job. I'll continue to depend on them for all my plumbing needs.

I've always used Roto-Rooter because they've been a reliable company in the past. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. I called them to snake one of my drains because my washer wasn’t draining properly. They cleared the drain, but later that night, my bathroom sink started overflowing.

They do not stand by their service, and the technician who came out wasn’t even a certified plumber. When I contacted them again, they claimed it was a separate line and would charge me $150 for a visit. Additionally, they mentioned a 3% fee for credit card payments. The call center was rude and confrontational, and the owner seemed incompetent. Overall, I feel let down by their lack of professionalism and support. do not call them or use them go with another plumbing service. Run away as fast as you can look at the reviews on the Better Business Bureau.

I would never use these people. They blocked the alley way to where we couldn’t get in or out of our driveway and it was extremely inconsiderate. My son left to work and tried to squeeze by their obnoxious truck and hit our fence and damaged it. Then the man finally moved. Mind you, there was plenty of room in the driveway of their customer as well as the front of the house. I called and lodged a complaint with the company but of course they acted completely oblivious and told me their equipment is heavy and we should have known that they need to impede the alley! There are millions of plumbing companies and this is just egregious and unacceptable that these people would indirectly damage our property because their time and space is more valuable than anyone else’s.

I had to call roto-rooter today for my sink. Brandon came and fixed it quickly. He didn't mind me watching how he fixed the stopped up sinks and answered any questions I had. I've used this company many times and will continue to do so.

They installed 220 service to our hot tub on our covered patio. they drilled several extra holes in our brick after changing routing of the electric line. they also split a brick and drilled an extra hole in the patio. We were assured it would be repaired. it has been several months and no remedy has been offered nor are they returning calls.

Zlatan and his co-worker (can’t remember his name) were very professional, friendly, courteous and efficient. They did a great job repairing my shower. They also put in new fixtures and replaced the valve and supply line for the toilet. I’m very pleased with the results. I’ll definitely call 1-800-Plumber the next time I need a plumber. It’s nice to know they also do electrical work.
