Dennis and Team did an awesome job repairing my sprinkler system.
I had several leaks which were identified and repaired promptly and at a fair price.

I had about an acre of my property that I wanted irrigated and sourced from a well. There is a balancing act to make that work correctly and I have to say Dennis did it perfectly. He stuck to his estimate and even gave an upgrade or two. His helper was also hard working and experienced. Couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend Hometown to anyone.

I can't say enough good about Hepler's. They got back to me very quickly. They were able to fix my problem and charged a very reasonable amount. They were very friendly and nice to work with. Will definitely call them again if I have sprinkler issues. Highly recommended.

EDIT: Dennis came out again to install a new controller. Works great. He also fixed several poor performing heads and tuned everything up!

Our sprinklers stopped working during several days of 100+ degree temperatures and no rain. Dennis came out in short notice and was able to make several repairs to our system to get it running well enough until parts could be ordered and more thorough repairs could be made. He was very professional and efficient. We will definitely use him again for all repairs and maintenance.

Dennis is the best. We bought a house on an acre that had an existing 14 zone irrigation system. Most of it worked but it needed some love. We also did and are planning a lot of work in the back yard—removed an old 25x16 feet workshop, removed a large garden, we’re building an office in the back, planting 16 trees (a couple are huge) all across the acre in front and back, and building a large garden + smaller herb garden in different spots of the yard. Needless to say we were going to need some extra work with rerouting the sprinkler system. We also plan on building a pool in the next few years and we didn’t want to have to tear up anything we add/fix now.

So how does one go about accomplishing all of this, you ask? Dennis Hepler. That’s how. We got a final back yard layout from our designers that included the pool, where new trees are going to be planted, and gave it to Dennis with our list of items we need fixed plus all the new things we needed covered both now, a couple months from now when parts of the construction will be finished, and finally when everything is all done in 5 or so years. Dennis came out and mapped our existing system, assessed what we were working with, and then plotted out a plan that covered everything. And I mean eeeeeeeverything. And it did! Here is what he did:

1. Abandoned the existing back yard sprinkler system.
2. Replotted an entirely new back yard layout that covered all the area we need covered right now while avoiding the areas where pool construction will eventually happen. So when we put the pool in we just adjust 3 heads to not spray on certain sides and we don’t have to pay to have the sprinkler system redone all over again. He left room for where they pool equipment and plumbing will be too.
3. Upgraded our controller.
4. Added separate, new zones for both garden areas so we can put them on a drip system!
5. Added 4 new garden hose bibs throughout the front and back yard so we have water easily accessible anywhere in the yard now.
6. Added 3 new zones for our 16 new trees. These were all over the yard. Front, back, side. He went under our driveway to get to some.
7. Fixed a bunch of things that were broken on the existing system.

Dennis is super professional, communicative, and really good at what he does. He was amazing to work with and worked really hard to do everything around our weird timeline as we went through a couple of phases of construction. He worked around it all perfectly and told us what he needed from other contractors so that we wouldn’t have to redo any work. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Oh also he made us maps of everything and took drone pics so we know where everything is in the future!

I sent a text to Dennis on Sunday evening and received a prompt reply that he can get my sprinkler repaired within the week since it was a minor issue. By Wednesday afternoon, Dennis had fixed the system without me even needing to be home. I 100% will use Hepler's HomeTown Landscape and Irrigation for our future sprinkler needs.

We recently had foundation work done on our home. The company had two different sprinkler companies come out to tell us that everything was fine and there were no leaks in the sprinkler system although our sump pump was running every time, we ran the sprinklers. They said that was normal. Our water bill was running over $100 more per month. I was unable to determine which zone(s) were causing the leak on my own. We called Dennis at Hepler's (who has done our periodic tune ups) and he came out prepared to help us and agreed that the sump pump running was absolutely not normal. He diligently evaluated the system and found several things improperly done by the foundation company's sprinkler repair vendors when the sprinkler system was checked out. Dennis and his team did amazing work and located the source of the underground leak. They were able to determine that the previous sprinkler vendors had attempted to repair the leak (so they knew there was a problem) but the repair was done incorrectly and was just buried with the leak. After Dennis and his team completed the leak repair, we have gone over 30 days without the sump pump running once after the sprinklers run and our water bills are back to normal. Hepler's knows what they are doing and absolutely fixed the leak on the first try. They were not afraid to dig in and get messy to fix the problem. Words I use to describe Hepler's Home Town Landscape & Irrigation are honest, thorough, diligent, determined, knowledgeable, reasonable, dedicated, trustworthy, highly recommended, and AMAZING.
