First time ever getting a cleaning service for a house. I opted for deep clean as the house is going on 20 years old now. It was incredible to see the night and day difference in the smallest things like the clean molding and windows to the larger items like bathroom tubs and shower. Already scheduled another service a few months out!

The biggest issue with this company was not just the cleaning itself, but how the operations manager, Jacob, handled the situation when I reached out afterward.

When I first mentioned that the cleaning was not up to standard, Jacob immediately told me I should have been booked for a deep cleaning instead. I would have been fine with that explanation if it made sense, but it doesn’t. I just purchased a brand new 2025 home less than three weeks ago, and it was professionally cleaned the day before I moved in. Why would I need a deep clean at that point? When I pointed that out, Jacob told me I must not have been happy with how clean my house was when I moved in, or I wouldn’t have reached out to their company at all. That is not the case. As a first-time homeowner, I just wanted to stay on top of monthly cleanings, not because my house was dirty.

At first Jacob came across as pleasant, but as the conversation went on, it became clear he was not interested in accountability. As a manager myself, I found it alarming that someone in a leadership position would talk to a customer the way he did. He was demeaning, defensive, rude, and constantly talked over me. When I called him out for that behavior, he immediately deflected and claimed that I was the one being argumentative and talking over him. He was not solution driven at all, and it was clear his goal was to win the argument, not resolve the issue.

The cleaning being subpar is not even my biggest concern. My real issue is that within 10 minutes of the cleaners leaving, I found two fresh chips in my brand new bathroom tile. When I asked about this, instead of taking responsibility, Jacob tried to blame it on pitting, claiming that heat mixed with cleaning solution can burst the tile. This is simply not true. Pitting is a manufacturer defect that develops gradually, not two sharp impact chips that suddenly appear minutes after cleaning.

I also asked for the before and after photos their team supposedly takes, hoping for clarity. The photos Jacob sent were dark, blurry, and completely unusable. He tried multiple ways to send them, and they were all the same. Yet, he insisted that on his end they were crystal clear and that they showed no damage. When I pressed for the timestamp on the photo, he told me 4:50 PM. I have my own photo taken at 5:00 PM showing the chips clearly visible. His explanations kept changing, and it felt like he wasn’t expecting me to ask detailed questions. When I continued to push back, he became more argumentative and dismissive, as though he expected me to simply accept his version without question.

To top it all off, I later received a follow-up text from the company doubling down on this pitting story. They offered to either talk to my contractor or buy me an epoxy kit to patch the damage, and then went out of their way to tell me how generous this was since in their view they didn’t cause the damage.

As a paying customer, I expected honesty and accountability when something went wrong. Instead, I was met with excuses, blame-shifting, and disrespect from the very person who should be setting the standard for professionalism. This entire experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. Between a cleaning that did not meet expectations and damage to my brand new home that was brushed off with unbelievable excuses, I cannot recommend this company. I will be moving on to another provider that values responsibility and treats customers with respect.

The co-owner (Jacob) is a great guy very funny and very generous. I highly recommend using their service for any kind of cleaning.

(Just make sure if youre doing a move out clean that you still have power/water when they arrive, otherwise they won't come)

I paid $600 for a “deep clean” with 2 ladies for 5 hours. I got anything but. Two women came, did the bare minimum, talked on their phones and argued with me when I showed what was clearly still dirty. They also left after 2.5 hours. They refused a refund and sent two more people the next day that did clean more, but still didn’t get everything.

I have had nothing but great experiences with maid up cleaners! They are thorough and detail-oriented. I needed a deep-clean before Thanksgiving and they were quick to get me in!

Update 2:
The owner Jacob did everything I could have asked to make this right. That is the true sign that someone cares about their business. He sent a different cleaner to my home. She was awesome and paid attention to the details. So I have amended my review to show that when things were not to standard Maid Up cleaners cared enough to reach out and make things right!

The owner responded to me immediately this morning. And I appreciate the fact that he wants to make it right. So I’m updating the review to reflect his willingness to fix things. And I’ll update again once I see the follow through.

I ended up hiring Maid Up Cleaners because they had such great reviews. It’s not that they’re horrible but the attention to detail on the floors is lacking. We had a problem two weeks ago as we have our house cleaned every two weeks. I had mentioned and showed pictures to the text message thread they have. They said they would give me some sort of credit on my next cleaning. It didn’t happen. Which, I wasn’t as concerned about. Just want my house clean. I got home this evening, and the floors upstairs were not done. They claim they will come out again in the next 24 hours to do it. However, if you have a continual problem, it shouldn’t have to be redone. I have pictures but it’s not allowing me to upload them. Just disappointed.

I couldn’t recommend a better cleaning company, I called these guys for my mother who has been having issues with her past cleaning company. From the initial call to making my mind that we would move to recurring services with these guys the whole process was seamless. These guys are very professional in all aspects and if you are in need of a clean don’t hesitate to call them.

Husband-wife team did a great job. They did a really nice service. Everything is very clean and refreshed, Compared to what it was... the best part about the whole entire thing is that I didn't have to do anything. I did nothing it was great.

I had Daysi And her team and they were excellent. Everything is spic and span ! My house hadn’t had a deep cleaning In over a year and this place looks amazing windows baseboards, floors Oven and the refrigerator thank you for your hard work!!

I’ve had this service for about 5-6 months now. They are always on top of it. Today I had Gustavo service my house and OMGSH! best clean I’ve had so far! It was all the little things (on top of the normal things obviously lol) like leaving the blinds up so we could see our squeaky clean windows, refolding my crumpled up blankets in my blanket basket, remaking my bed to look better (corners tucked and all that!) than before and the extra mile on my vents and doors. Now I’m sitting on my nice vacuumed, fluffed up couch writing this review. Definitely worth it if you ask me:)
