Constraction reviews in Austin, Texas

Jorge and the Habitat team were a pleasure to work with. Their high-end modern vision is matched by a strong commitment to craftsmanship and premium finishes. I’m extremely pleased with how the home turned out and would gladly work with the team again. Thank you!

Very responsive, quick, and great quality. Would recommend.

Very good experience. On budget and on time. Great communication start to finish. Will use for more work in the future.

They stood me up on an appointment. I tried to confirm the time and they never responded. They finally texted me back, after I had driven 20 minutes to meet them at my property, that they were not coming. Unprofessional and
lack of concern since this was on their calendar for days in advance.

They took care of a multitude of projects one after the other in a professional, orderly way and I felt that they charged a reasonable price too. Juan did a fantastic job. I will be using them again in the future.

I have used them several times for both interior and exterior painting. The work is very good, well priced and meticulous. They are very good at communicating with me about scheduling, type of paint, and details. I highly recommend them.

We have used J&J remodeling for years now across many different renovation projects, and couldn’t be happier with the work. Juan and his team has completed multiple projects, including painting cabinets, texturing ceiling, and installing new tile and hardwood floors. The quality of their work is the reason we keep using them for future improvements.

I had scheduled another company to come and repaint my entire apartment a few days before it was to be listed for sale, the other company suddenly backed out the day before painting was to start. I called J&J and they were able to come out and quote me that day, and the next day they were able to start painting. They knew I needed the help and they squeezed me in between other jobs, and still managed to paint the entire apartment in a record amount of time. Not only did they do it quickly - they did it properly, they taped the baseboards, windows, etc, and removed the light switches and switch plates so there were no messy lines (a pet peeve of mine). They also did some light drywall repair that I can’t even find any more it was that good (and I am admittedly picky). I am still over the moon that J&J was there to help, quickly, professionally and also very nice to boot. I know that if I ever need anything painted in Austin, I will be calling Thanks Melissa!

Great experience with J&J. I got a very reasonable quote to repair sheetrock in my home by texting a few photos. The job was scheduled a a couple days later. Crew arrived and did great work. I have smooth finish on my ceiling, so it had to be done well, which it was. They cleaned up after. I would highly recommend.

Javier and his team are fast, friendly, and very professional. We needed a quick turn-around on some fairly extensive plumbing and electrical work and this team was amazing. Within a few of days of contacting Javier we had a quote and a timeline that worked. They did high quality work with minimal interruption to our utility service. They are now my “go-to” team for any future projects I might have.

I highly recommend them! They have done two projects for us and they were very professional, kind, punctual and responsive. I am very happy with the quality of the work in both projects. They changed and painted a door for us. They also did a plumbing project. Their prices are reasonable. They clearly explain our options and let us decide. I will work with them for our upcoming repairs and home improvement projects.

I can’t say enough good things about J&J painting. Melissa is professional and detailed in responses, invoicing and she communicates details very well which is a huge plus. My garage needed drywall repair work and they came in and fixed the tape, added texture and did an amazing job in a reasonable time and price range. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely reach out to them for future projects.

J&J are amazing to work with! They have done two projects for me: painting the exterior of my house and painting my kitchen cabinets and in both instances, I was exceptionally happy with how the projects came out. Melissa is incredibly responsive and communicative regardless of the time or day I reached out. The crew always showed up on time and everything was left in tip too shape when they left. I have been recommending them to all of my friends.

I can't speak highly enough about the J&J team! They have installed drywall in my home twice now and each time they worked quickly and did very high quality work. Melissa is so easy to communicate with and quick to reply.

They did such a great job converting an old door frame into a fresh new archway into my kitchen. They even came back to patch it up for me when my foundation shifted and the wall cracked. I highly recommend working with them for your drywall and painting needs! I am already looking forward to having them come back to help get my kitchen floor ready for tile installation.

Javier and his crew recently renovated a 20-year-old home for us, and they were absolutely great! He worked with his designer, Megan Mrazek, to get the home ready for sale, and the result was amazing. Throughout the entire project, he kept us up-to-date on the work being done, and sent pictures at least once a week. They stuck to the budget and did their best to keep costs to a minimum. I can’t say enough about the quality of work they did. When the home went on the market, we had a full-price offer in less than a week. If you’ve got a remodeling/renovation project you’re thinking about, I don’t think you could do better than JJ Painting & Remodeling You’ll not regret it!

John and the crew were great! Recommend them.

They did a great job on our house. They came up with solutions to existing problems and our projects turned out great.

Amazing contractor! Loved what they did to my bathroom and the way they handled the project from A to Z!

John Gioffre and his crews are a pleasure to work with, he worked hard to make sure my Montessori preschool turned out just the way I'd envisioned.

These guys are amazing! Our house looks awesome and John and Scott were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process

Remodeling can be a huge undertaking and I'm so glad I went with Revival. Extremely well designed and executed my dream remodel, under budget and hassle free. Thanks again!
