Constraction reviews in Austin, Texas

Revent managed our complete kitchen remodel which included opening a wall, re-routing appliances, electrical, gas, new cabinets, quartz countertops, waterfall island, and opening ceiling to route new vent hood line. We designed it and they worked along with us to make it all a reality. It turned out even better than what we had imagined. Revent was very attentive to our requests. Andrew, the project manager, stayed in constant contact with us and had a very positive attitude when we requested any changes. We are very happy with our new kitchen. Thank you Revent crew!!!

John and his team did an excellent job installing our new flooring and windows. They were all very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the end product. I would recommend Revent to anyone and we will definitely be using them for our future projects.

Working with Revent was not only a pleasure, but truly an experience that made our kitchen transformation dreams come true. Everything from start to finish was done with meticulous attention to detail, an absolutely STELLAR crew, and finished the job within budget and ahead of schedule. I could not recommend them any stronger!!

Thanks for a job VERY well done John and Andrew!

John Gioffre has the vision to see exactly what you want done in your house. I'm so happy that we worked with John and Revent Remodeling & Construction. We had an idea of what we wanted done but John was able to make it a reality. My wife and I are so happy with the beautiful craftsmanship. It's clear that John and his team do not cut any corners. I highly recommend you work with this company.

We had a pretty unconventional project: a barn conversion, that kicked off right at the same time as the coronavirus pandemic. From the first day the Revent crew came out and helped clear out the barn just to get the project going, until tidying up a few things after completion, John (the owner) and all the Revent crew went the extra mile every step of the way. We ended up with an amazing home that exceeded all of our expectations.

Every time an issue came up, as they always do in any construction project, John was always all ears, beyond reasonable, and gave me total confidence that he would personally make sure everything would be taken care of, and I was never let down.

We are absolutely thrilled with our choice to hire Revent and completely over the moon with our new home. So much gratitude for John, Andrew, Antonio, Pedro, Chuy and everyone else, who are all great people in addition to being really good at what they do because they genuinely care about doing a great job. Incredible quality and outstanding customer service at an amazing price. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Had John & team do a remodel of our master bathroom including a new stand-in shower and sliding barn door. They pulled the vision together perfectly, and although the finished product is great, the main thing about Revent to highlight is the care they put into the process and excellent communication throughout. John & team are very hands-on with progress updates, open line of communication, and are great to collaborate with. If I needed another remodel in our home, John would be the person I would call

We have completed two projects with Revent. One project was a remodel and addition, including moving a kitchen and adding a bath/covered patio. We had such great response/work from them that we did a second project of remodeling another bathroom. Both projects were completed perfectly. If there was anything that we caught that needed to be fixed, they did so very quickly and without question. They were professional throughout the project and great to work with. Really appreciate everything John and Andrew did and will use the again.

John and the entire Revent remodeling team are amazing. From design, planning, and, communication, everything was executed as promised.

From past personal experience in the field of construction, I know how difficult it can be to provide a remodel service while maintaining an open line of communication for an ever evolving project. John and his team kept me updated and informed throughout the entire process and the finished space came out better than anything I had originally envisioned.

If you are searching for a reliable remodel team, look no further than John and the Revent . Thank you guys!

We recently worked with Revent on pre-construction for a project, and had a fantastic experience. Revent's owner, John, is a construction expert and was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel at ease throughout. He is also very fun and personable, which made the process really enjoyable as well. He sent us addresses of a few current projects to check out, and every one of his sites was incredibly clean and reflected very high quality construction standards. Highly recommend reaching out to Revent if you have a construction project in mind!

Had a great experience as residential litigation expert, repair estimation and designated subject matter expert.

Kept customer's interest at the highest level and provided expert advise to steer through difficult legal litigation.

Most contractors we met with said they could do anything we wanted. Revent was the only one who had a vision, and they executed it flawlessly. Efficient, transparent, and communicative, Revent was a joy to work with from concept to completion. Would give a sixth star if I could!

One of the most innovative companies in the crowded builder space! John and his team are pros.

I had a consultation with John and I can honestly say he is as real as it gets. He has so much knowledge and experience that he is willing to share to help you out and get to the next level . I can’t say enough good things about him.

We’ve had such a great experience working with Revent Builds! John, the owner, along with Andrew and Joseph, have been amazing from start to finish. They’re not just a contractor—they’re true collaborators who make everything feel easy.

John leads with such a calm and steady hand, making sure everything stays on track and nothing gets missed. Andrew and Joseph are just as fantastic—super organized, clear in their communication, and always ready to jump in and help.

One thing that really stands out about Revent Builds is how organized they are. It’s like they have a sixth sense for keeping everything running smoothly! And their communication? Top-notch. We always knew what was happening and felt completely in the loop, which made the whole process stress-free and even enjoyable.

Working with Revent Builds has been a breeze, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They’re a team that truly cares about their work and their clients, and it shows. Highly recommend!

#SollSquad thanks you guys from the bottom of our hearts!

John and his team are the utmost professionals and did a tremendous job converting our 1988 downstairs closed-in kitchen and living area into an amazing, modernized, open-space masterpiece. I would not hesitate in using them again. Their only misstep was in not acquiring "before" pictures to truly show off their talents in the transformation of 1988 ugly caterpillar into drop-dead gorgeous 2018 butterfly.

John and his team completely redid my outdoor space with Azek decking, a new pergola, built in grill, etc. John was a delight to work with. Super transparent and attentive to every little detail. Great ideas and design as well as Great quality of workmanship. Best contractor I’ve ever worked with.

As an interior designer, I have had the pleasure of working with Revent Builds on a large high-end residential remodel, and I can confidently say they are exceptional. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism consistently elevate our designs to the next level.

From the outset, the Revent guys demonstrated a deep understanding of our vision, seamlessly translating complex design plans into reality. Their ability to work with high-end materials, execute intricate tile work, custom cabinetry, and maintain flawless finishes is truly impressive. They navigated challenges—such as tight timelines and unique structural requirements—with creative problem-solving and clear communication, ensuring the project stayed on track and met our exacting standards.

The team’s collaborative and playful spirit stood out. They were proactive in coordinating with me on the design, offering valuable insights while respecting our creative direction. Their reliability, punctuality, and commitment to keeping the workspace clean and organized made the process smooth for both clients and myself.
Clients have consistently remarked on the quality of Revent’s work, from perfectly installed custom cabinetry, perfectly installed tile, wood floor, and every other fix finish. Their dedication to excellence not only enhances the aesthetic and functional outcome but also develops their relationship with high and clientele that trust them.

I wholeheartedly recommend John and the amazing team he has built at Revent to anyone seeking a contractor who combines technical expertise with a passion for bringing design visions to life. They are a true partner in creating beautiful, enduring spaces.

John and his team are some of the most amazing builders in Austin. Great communication, punctual and kind. It is hard to find all three of those in a builder these days. Revent blew me away at every turn and the finished product was way beyond my dreams. They really do build beautiful homes. If you want a home that is both beautiful and functional you don't have to look any further. Wish I could give them 10 stars. I am slightly sad that the construction is done, they were a joy to work with and became family.

John and his team did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel. He had excellent ideas and was always very responsive. I work in real estate development and I can't stress enough how important it is to have a contractor you trust. I highly recommend Revent.

My wife and I worked with Revent to do a lot of the finishing touches on a cafe we're opening in Austin.

They did the tile, accent wall paint, wood seal, bar back, patched the drywall, painted the ceiling... they did a TON for us and the place looks phenomenal (see pic).

One of the things I really appreciated about working with them is that they got what we needed to do, and then they did it well and fast without needing to be managed or directed at all. They understood how to be compliant with plumbing and electrical codes, and they even suggested ideas for other ways we could make the cafe look nicer that we hadn't thought of, which we really appreciated.

All in all, 10/10 experience and I plan on working with them again in the future. John's a professional and if you can get on his calendar to work with him you'll be very glad you did.

John and his team are great.

In a world where dreams are drawn in stone and wood,
There stands a crew that’s simply good —
No, great, exceptional in every way,
Turning houses to homes where hearts can stay.

With every beam, each nail and line,
They craft with care, with skill divine.
Custom homes or remodels true,
They build with pride in all they do.

The owner greets you with a smile,
Warm, professional — goes the extra mile.
Not just a builder, but a guiding hand,
Helping visions rise and firmly stand.

Timely, tidy, and built to last,
They honor your future, respect your past.
If quality and heart are what you seek,
This is the team that speaks unique.

So here’s my praise in verse and rhyme,
A builder that’s truly worth your time.
Five shining stars I gladly send —
For work, for trust, for a lifelong friend.
