Lily was exceptional to work with in every aspect. She was incredibly professional, supportive, insightful, and solution-focused. Even with the standard unforeseen issues that pop up during renovation, she offered her honest opinions and many different avenues to explore. She is transparent and present throughout each step in the process. She follows through and is highly communicative. Also, she’s just a joy to talk to and be around!
All in all, would highly recommend Lily and Skelly Build to anyone planning to renovate a space. Couldn’t be happier with my results!

If I could give Skelly Home 10 stars out of 5 I would! This is such an incredible company, and I've never had a better experience with construction or renovations in my entire life- don't walk, RUN to hire them!!

We hired Skelly Home in December 2020 to completely renovate two bathrooms and do work on the front exterior of our home. From the very beginning, Skelly Home put me at ease and made the process seamless. Diana was so responsive from the initial inquiry, answering all my questions, including being very quick with getting me an estimate which I really appreciated. It's nearly impossible to find someone that's so wonderful and prompt from the building world, and it's such a reflection of how she runs this amazing company. Then, when contracts were signed, Alex made the permit process beyond smooth (which I know can be a nightmare for many people in Austin!) so that we could start demo right on time and renovations could stay on schedule.

Once the construction process began, that's where the real magic started. Our PM, Lily, is truly a GEM and I cannot recommend her enough. She was so communicative and incredible at walking us through the entire process, sending us updates all the time and scheduling walkthroughs often for us to see the progress since we were living in a temporary rental during construction. I've never met someone in building that is so detail-oriented and cares the way she does. I truly felt a sense of complete trust with her- and that if there was anything that came up (which always does when you are renovating an older home) she would have the solutions and lead us in the right direction. I knew from the moment demo happened we were in the best hands with her!

The final product brought TEARS to my eyes- the work wasn't just good, it was absolutely extraordinary. Skelly Home only works with contractors that are experts in their field, and every tile laid, all plumbing, cabinetry, paint, etc. was flawless. I still can't believe this is our home, it feels like we are living in a beautiful hotel! While the renovation process can be daunting, Skelly Home is very special and stands out amongst a sea of mediocrity- you can't do better than this wonderful team!

I used Skelly Build for a large kitchen and 5-bathroom remodel of my 1889 historic house. They did a great job, were very communicative, and kept to the schedule. More importantly though, there was something that went wrong, but the problem didn't manifest for over a year. Nonetheless, they immediately took responsibility and came out and fixed the problem which involved a total rebuild and retile of a shower pan. That is the kind of ethics that I really appreciate.

Working with Skelley went above and beyond our expectations. We were out of state went they did our renovation, and they did an amazing job, worked seamlessly with our designer and kept us very informed. Our house sold the first day it was on the market, and we have no doubt it sold so fast because of the amazing job Skelley did with the renovation. I’m sad we didn’t get to live in our house after the work they did, and that they aren’t in Denver to remodel our new home!

You do pay a premium to work with Skelly, but if you want a seamless, top of the line, communicative contractor with great taste, pick them!

Diana and her team are simply put, wonderful. They were clear throughout the project on timelines and scope and utilized a software tool that would communicate if things changed or what was on the schedule for that day, giving me clear line of sight into the plan and activity. We have two kids under the age of five and lived without a kitchen for three months and the Skelly team was incredibly supportive and tried to make the work as least disruptive as possible. Izzy was our project manager and was an absolute pleasure to work with - she was always calm, reassuring, and attentive. Highly recommend the Skelly team and I hope to use them for projects in the future!

An incredible home renovation experience is almost unheard of - and yet, that is what my family and I got when we worked with Skelly Build on our home renovation project. From the first phone call I had with Diana, I encountered a professional who was knowledgeable, kind, and clearly knew her business. She also understood the concept of value. My husband and I purchased a 1950s ranch style house in south east Austin that needed to be taken to the studs. Lily was always honest with us when my husband and I had to grapple with new decisions that came along. Lily was very patient with our very detail-oriented natures. She is an excellent and timely communicator.

All of the Skelly team members that we worked with were exceptional. Every person was kind, prompt in their communication, and thorough. Another shout-out has to go to Sean. Sean is the COO/CFO and was always there if the project needed his support in any way. Skelly Build stands behind their work. This is a company with integrity. I recently hired Skelly Build to execute a gut renovation of my condo in downtown Austin. Home renovations are stressful and too often frustrating, but the Skelly Build team did all they could to ensure a smooth and generally stress free process, all while delivering a top quality product that more than met my expectations. In the early planning stages, Diana Skellinger provided a comprehensive outline of scope and cost, and clearly explained the entire process from permit application to punch list and completion. Once construction began, I was assigned a full time project manager, Lily Harpham, who managed and orchestrated the entire project. She was a great partner, and I always felt that she had my best interests in mind. Recognizing that I am not the easiest person to deal with and that my expectations can be extremely high, her patience and understanding were much appreciated. Importantly, she regularly communicated project status, key milestones, scheduling, as well as all the good and the bad stuff we encountered along the way. We worked with Skelly Home Renovations to renovate the two bathrooms in our 1970s house. This was a fairly extensive renovation that involved moving plumbing and walls, and also updated our master bedroom/closet.

From my first call with Diana, everyone we worked with was professional and great at communicating. We worked with Project Manager Lily and she kept us up to date on every small detail of the project via Builder Trend. She was always willing to talk us through the minutia on the phone or to meet up at the house when it was easier to look at things in person. It was FAR from the normal renovation horror stories of lore, where contractors disappear for days on end. Lily reliably got back to us ASAP with honest and detailed answers. When there were bumps in the road (which is inevitable with any home construction project) Lily helped explain all of the options, thought creatively, and brought in the expert trades to help us brainstorm solutions. We met many of the subcontractors that Skelly works with, and they too were always kind and trustworthy. We never felt worried about who was coming and going from our house.

In the end, we were left with two beautiful bathrooms that make us feel like we are in a hotel every time we use them. The quality of the work is excellent and there aren't any small details that were overlooked. Skelly was not the cheapest option out of the quotes that we got, but we feel like the experience was worth every penny.

When I hired Skelly, I had never done a renovation before. I didn't know what to expect but I knew I was signing up for a lot of work as we were renovating all 5 bathrooms in our house. The work is now fully complete and I am SO happy with it! Not only is the quality of work of the highest standards, the process working with the Skelly team was excellent.
