!!! Gama at Rivendale Homes saved the day for me when I reached out after the warranty on my plumbing had expired, asking if the builders would consider fixing a belly in the mainline piping. This would’ve cost me upwards of 20k (that was the first quote I received from a plumber who diagnosed the issue following a clogged line that caused spillover and minor flooding). Rivendale reviewed the issue, agreed it needed to be fixed, and because I purchased the home relatively recently (even though it was outside of warranty), they wanted to repair it and cover the cost. It was a hassle free situation for me from start to finish and they followed up consistently from the p point in which I reached out to once the job was completed. I cannot tell you how big of a deal this was for me and cannot thank them enough for fixing it on my behalf. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

If and when we decide to build again, we would head right back to Sterling!

We thought only of Sterling to rebuild our home after our lightning/fire in 2019. They built it for us in 2005 and again in 2020. We are very pleased with our second Sterling-built home.

We have built 3 homes and remodeled another from the studs...Sterling was by far the worst experience. If they are all about “the relationship” and addressing every concern of their homeowners, why do we still have issue(s) raised at or immediately after move-in that are unresolved 11 months later? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Our company has had the privilege to work with Sterling custom homes on a few projects recently and have been very impressed with their good communication and attention to detail. Keep up the good work, Austin is better with your great builds!

Don’t fall for the relationship sales pitch. We’ve lived in our Sterling home for 11 months and are still trying to get our house complete. We were never a priority to Sterling because they were building a spec Parade Home while building ours, we had a change in our superintendent 5 times, the list could go on! Perfection was never our goal, just completion in a reasonable period of time. One of these days we can relax, enjoy, and appreciate our house...maybe when we don’t have to accommodate workers/subcontractors several times a week and sometimes multiple in the same day.

Sterling Custom Homes is a great business partner. easy to work with, fast to solve problems with a great attention to detail and a "do it right" attitude. I also appreciate the ethical approach and the personal touch to business matters.

This was the second home we have had Sterling build for us. The first one was 25 yrs ago. That was and is a great house. Because we wanted to down sized we had Sterling build us something a little smaller. We started building a year ago just as the pandemic began. We thought about holding off until after the pandemic. We talked to Sterling and their concern was that the construction industry would be in chaos coming out of the shut down. They were right. We took their advice and we just moved onto our new home 2 weeks ago. There were some bumps through the construction because of the pandemic, but Sterling managed them and kept the project on track.

To get a good feel for a Sterling home, you need to go visit one during the framing stage and look at the lumber Sterling puts in. Then go look at some other homes being framed by other builders. I think you’ll see a big difference. In my opinion, Sterling builds a great custom home.
