I lost power to half my house. I was leaving for a work trip the next day and didn't want to leave my family without power. Ryan returned my call immediately and was able to come out that same day. My home has a mess of wiring and he was able to troubleshoot and fix in about an hours time.

We called Ryan with Power Pro Electric at 10:30 for a shorting switch. He workwd us into his schedule and arrived early with all parts and equipment needed. Very knowledgeable and made quick work of the problem. Will schedule again for additional projects. Great guy, very fairly priced, highly recommended.

I found Ryan based on his great reviews and after a similarly awesome experience, I wanted to contribute my own 100% unincentivized opinion to support him as a small business owner building up his client base. I asked how he got started, and electrical work is literally the family business. He grew up in a family of electricians with 2 local businesses, and his is the 3rd that he founded when striking out on his own. I forget the other two, but it's irrelevant. He's located in South Austin and does great work so I'm sold.

Ryan was very up front about his service fee, and I was happy to know that it could be put towards repairs performed in that visit if I wanted. I actually really appreciate the option to have someone come out for a set fee and then decide whether or not I want them to perform the repairs. He takes (in order of preference) cash, checks, and cards, though cards do incur a 3% pass-through fee that he'd otherwise have to eat. That's expected for any independently-run business, and frankly even large businesses pass the processing fees onto customers these days, either directly or in goods/service pricing.

The day of our appointment, he texted an hour in advance to confirm the time he anticipated showing up, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was friendly, patient, professional, and extremely understanding about the dishes I hadn't gotten to before he showed up.

I already knew I wanted Ryan to perform the work after figuring out what was wrong, and I think I only ended up paying about $20 more than the flat service fee. All of the outlets are now working. He also gave me tips to avoid future issues and showed me how to do something really, really basic that I should probably know as a homeowner without making me feel like an idiot. Great job all around! We'd use him again without hesitation.

I messaged PowerPro Electric on a Sunday morning, not thinking I would get a quick reply. To my surprise, they responded immediately and came out to the home within 2 hours to help with our issue. Ryan and Brittany are wonderfully communicative and care about their service. It took Ryan no time to diagnose our issue, and fix it quickly. Ryan will be back soon to install a new thermostat for us, and I'm looking forward to it, as I can 100% trust his work and timeliness.

We reached out to Ryan via email on a Tuesday evening with a list of what we had issues with, and got a response back within an hour that included knowledgeable recommendations on each. He made time to come out that same Thursday, and fixed everything on the list. His hourly rate is extremely fair (and communicated ahead of time), and he was not only incredibly nice to us but our barky dogs as well. We recently found some other faulty light setups that he is helping fix soon. Highly recommend. He is busy and that is likely because he is so reliable & trustworthy.

There are times when you are trying a new business for the first time and wonder if you made the right choice. I was having my AC serviced and there was a concern that the AC circuit maybe popping in the future. I was recommended to call Ryan with Power Pro Electric and I’m glad I did. Ryan came out and checked the AC circuit unit and found it to be functioning properly and said, if it does pop, to give him a call and he would be back out. I asked him, what did I owe him, at least a service charge and he said, no. He checked it and it was ok. It’s nice to know when you are dealing with an honest individual.

Ryan installed our electric car charger and the entire experience was excellent. I've had multiple contractors in my house over the years, and he was by far 1) the best I've worked with, 2) extremely reasonable pricing, and 3) under promised and over delivered.

Ryan of PowerPro Electric is now my go-to guy for electrical work. Just like his website says, he will treat your home just like it is his own - with respect and care. He knows what he is doing, is honest about his work and pricing, communicates well and shows up when he says he will. He found a breaker box in my home that had been recalled years ago due to severe fire hazard, and I googled it and found it was a serious well-known-in-the-industry hazard that previous electricians had overlooked. I am sleeping easier now that Ryan replaced it and also did a new stove 240 line for us. Fair and reasonable pricing, great person.

While my job wasn't a big one, Ryan saved me a nice chunk of change. Ryan knew that my breakers had a lifetime warranty and could be swapped out at no cost. He replaced two of my bad breakers as well as swapping out another old one that was flying around. Afterward, he sent me a message with the exact breakers I have and the support line for that company.

Ryan has taken care of small issues for me (like an outlet that wasn't working) but he also helped me with a bunch of bigger electrical issues when I remodeled my kitchen. He's very pleasant to work with, punctual, responds quickly to texts, and his prices are fair. I would recommend him to anyone.

The light switch in my main bedroom has been broken since October. I bought a ceiling fan in April. I have a difficult time making phone calls to schedule service. This morning I finally texted Power Pro and so happy I did. He repaired three light switches and installed the ceiling fan in my office. The office electrical box was not wired for a ceiling fan but he updated the box. It was not an easy task but he took his time and did not get frustrated. I will definitely have him back whenever I find new light fixtures.
