I have been continuously pleased with Sullivan’s Landscaping!!! In 2015 sullivan’s poured a slab for me for an outdoor kitchen. The team showed up right on time and was a pleasure to deal with the whole time. They did great work and cleaned up so you couldn’t even tell they were there. Fast forward a couple of years and I hired Sullivan’s to take care of my lawn maintenance. They were quick and fantastic every single time and I never had a single complaint. But then I sold my house and moved out of town. Now I have moved back to Austin and Sullivan’s is doing the same work at my new house. They put in sod and set my yard up for an outdoor kitchen and fire pit, and they take care of my week to week landscaping.

They are exactly what you want in a landscaping company. They show up when they say they’ll be there, and they do a great job and make the yard look great. They offer other services but they are never pushy. Overall, I highly recommend!!!!

We had Sullivan’s install some turf. They were not the cheapest but they were super responsive. Explained everything thoroughly and showed up exactly as planned which is unusual in this type of business. We love the look.

Ryan really takes the time to understand what you’re looking for and offers great ideas to bring it all together. The yard looks fantastic — clean, fresh, and super well-maintained. They show up on time, work efficiently, and always leave the place looking better than they found it. It’s been such a relief having a landscaping company I can count on.

We hired Sullivan's to landscape our backyard. We already had plans in place and walked them through the drawing we had made. An estimate was written up the same day they came out, along with a short video that walked through the project. This was a very nice touch in order to ensure everything was correct. Once we accepted the bid (which was the best price of all the places we consulted) we were put on the schedule right away.
First day they came out to do the work the owner was present as well as a PM, and we walked through the project again. I really appreciated this as a reassurance that they were interested in getting things right. The project went very smoothly after that and they were done in the amount of time they said it would take. The work was clean and efficient; the crew even went above and beyond by cleaning up the leaves in an area of the yard they weren't even working. I was really impressed by the crew on our job and their finishing work was spot on.
From start to finish Sullivan's was a wonderful company to work with and I would certainly hire them again for future projects.

We had Sullivan's Landscaping build front walkways with gravel and pavers, flagstone path in the backyard, a firepit area, some garden beds and resod grass. Overall, we are happy with the work, but I think we paid too much for the number of mistakes they made.

First, they kept forgetting line items from the quote, or putting the wrong material. We had to correct them 3 or 4 times. Not a big deal, but annoying if we didn't catch the mistakes..

The team did a great job on the front walkways, which were straight lines with gravel and lueder pavers. I do recommend Sullivan's for simple jobs like this.

The backyard was more complicated though, and the workmanship was sub-par in this area. The workers barely spoke English, so they would never ask questions and providing feedback was very difficult, since they'd often misinterpret what we told them. They made a winding flagstone path through our backyard, which they totally botched. Initially, the path width varied by around 10" and was not very level. When we pointed that out, they attempted to fix it by chiseling pieces of the flagstone, but now parts of it look hacked up and not smooth. It's not a huge deal, but I feel I could have done a better job myself if I had the time.

They built a large curvy garden bed with chopped nicotine stones with mortar. They actually did a great job here. The firepit was a circular metal edge with gravel, and they also did a great job on that. However, when they left, they forgot to fill up the garden bed with soil, so they had to come back to finish the job. I'm pretty sure they did not put enough soil, but have no way to confirm. We're just glad it's over.

As I said, overall we're satisfied with the end result, but I wish it had gone much smoother, especially for the high $20k price tag. I would recommend these guys for fairly straight-forward jobs. I would avoid them for complex geometries and winding flagstone walkways.

Sullivan's basically took our backyard from a jungle mess to a beautiful place to play and hang out together. They also did some updating to our front yard. Everyone we worked with was professional and attentive. I highly recommend them for all of your landscaping or yard maintenance needs.

We have had a wonderful experience with the Sullivan’s team, from the thoroughness/accuracy competitiveness of the quote that Natalie developed, to Alex leading/guiding the crews (and entertaining my constant questions and nervousness), to the talented crews who implemented our vision. And ultimately, to have Ryan involved in the entire process, performing QC reviews and ensuring that the standard of care of the installation meets his expectations. We have already started thinking about ‘phase 2’ and other opportunities to work with Sullivan’s team again.

We are so impressed and excited about our new front yard thanks to Sullivan’s! They were very communicative and helpful in the planning stages, then quick and skilled in the execution. We very highly recommend them for landscaping.

I hired Sullivans Landscaping to turn my small backyard of water-sucking St. Augustine sod into a rock garden oasis with some planter beds for native plants. Overall I’d say it was a success! It was super helpful to work with Shab on a plan for the space—I had some ideas, but there also were some gaps where I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and she helped me fill those in. She also was helpful with helping me trim scope a little bit when my ideas started pushing me out of budget. :)

Once install day came, it was a relief that everything was handled—materials arrived, the crew arrived, and it really hit me that this was a great idea to hire people to help with alll this work it was going to take to get my space the way I want it. (If I had done most of it myself as I originally planned, it would have taken me months and not look anywhere near as good.) Alex, as the project manager, made sure things were lined up during the three-day project, and helped make some small adjustments to how flagstones were being laid so everything turned out just right! Now with all the heavy lifting done, I get to spend the fall focused on planting my garden.

The only issues I had were relatively minor. On the first day, the crew arrived a few hours later than planned due to another job taking longer than expected (mine ended up taking a little longer too). There also was initially an issue with a pergola installation that was supposed to be part of the project, but we decided to cut it because it was more complex to assemble than expected, which resulted in some edging and rocks needing to be torn up and replaced. Sullivans sent a crew out to make it right again within a week, which I greatly appreciated and felt showed a lot of integrity and ownership for doing a good job.

Sullivans was a fantastic company to work with – I could not recommend them more. They came at the recommendation of our pool company to handle a large scale landscaping project we were doing alongside the pool. The project went over three phases and about six months including grading, drainage including a sump pump, a new whitewashed brick entry and sidewalk, turf and plants including a full yard irrigation installation alongside the pool and a pool enclosure. The design and budgeting phase were great - they helped us design the project and provided extremely detailed line item estimates which made it much easier to understand where we could save money or where we needed to allocate more budget. They also were great at spacing out the timing of the project to work around both the pool and enclosure install not to mention the nightmare that is Austin permitting delays. Natalie and Alex were great to work with and extremely responsive, dealing with any issue I noticed or had questions about within normally the hour by text and with a team onsight the next day to handle it. Sullivans is the best.

We use Sullivan's for our commercial property routine landscaping and seasonal plantings. Their work is solid, reasonably priced, and I've always found their management / office teams super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They are also just generally flexible to our business needs when it comes to scheduling, which is HUGE!

Ryan, Alex, and the rest of the crew were very attentive and professional. They did some turf, a trellis installation, and a new fence for our backyard. Everything was coordinated very well. There were no down days during the project. What would’ve taken another crew at least two or three weeks, took them only one. The work quality was top-notch. Would highly recommend!

Super amazing landscape installation that changed our yard from old to new! Solid advice and solid materials (like the 1/4" steel welded barriers between the rocks and grass) created just the look we were going for. Bring on the rain! We had drainage problems and Sullivan's solved it for us. Alex and Crew were super nice and professional and consistently left the driveway and street clean.

They worked up a beautiful design that delivered perfectly on my vision. Once the work began they were fast, professional, and worked around my schedule. I highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with Sullivan’s Landscaping for our design. We had just put in a pool and needed to redo the rest of the yard. Shab and Alex were both so fantastic and helpful. Their team worked a hard full day, each and everyday and they finished the job in a week!

Although we had to increase our budget I bit more than we wanted to, Shab was incredible patient and helpful as we navigated through the process. Helping us feel comfortable on spending a bit more. A++++!!!!!!!

We are so happy with the work Green Ease did at our home! William and his crew redid our raised beds - we absolutely love the metal beds his team fabricated. They also added & repaired some masonry in both the front and back. We love the look, and William and his team were fantastic to work with - great communication, great work, and we were really happy with the price.
