After talking with the gentleman that gave me the quote, I have decided to change my review as I misread the quote. The crew did a good job and was neat and clean. I would definitely use them again.

I get at least three spam text messages a week from this company.

Edit: In response to owner, the texts come from a different number each time and don't even include the name of the company. Just "local arborist." I decided to play along and ask for a quote and then within 30 mins got a text from a different number this time actually with the name of the business to continue the quote.

Either 1.) they are using a separate anonymous system to send the mass texts that routes users through or 2.) they are buying leads from an unscrupulous source.

Based on the texts the impression is that it is the former.

Austin Tree Specialists cut and removed two large, dead trees. They arrived on-time and completed the work quickly. Their workers were competent and professional. It wasn’t cheap but they were reasonably priced. I would use them again.

The team did an excellent job!! Trimmed what was listed but also trimmed few smaller branches as well. I think with any tree trimming service you need to be involved so they trim what you want. This team communicated well and exceeded my expectation. What a beautiful job they did cleaning up too! Highly recommend!

Really pleased with very thorough trimming of my live oak. Highly skilled and efficient crew. Very good value based on my experience with tree trimming services in the past. Highly recommended. The whole text solicitation and communication is off-putting however.

The first time they came to prune my trees. I didn't notice the difference after they came, so I thought they never went out to my property. I called the receptionist multiple times over a period of two weeks, but she was not able to get hold of Marcus (the owner) to provide me a schedule. After two weeks of continuous calling, Marcus finally told me that the work has been done. He charged me more than 800 dollars (even with discount), but ironically I couldn't notice the difference of their pruning/trimming service.

I requested them to schedule another time to prune my trees. They act promptly and it was scheduled to be the next day. In the end I am feeling better, but the experience working with them is not pleasing. Their management is just terrible. They are not responsive by any means and they over-charge for the work they have done.

Don't be deceived by the high review score of this company on Google Review. This company has changed its owner from Patrick to Marcus. Most of the good reviews are from the previous owner's time.

I am very satisfied with their service. In fact I feel proud that the whole experience went well. My husband always took care of his trees, but covid19 took his life 2 years ago.
In December, shortly after talking with my daughter about the trees, I got a text message from Austin Tree Specialists and I said well is this God's answered to our prayer or do I delete it. I send them the requested information and that is how the story started.
We acceped their quote because of an excellent experience with the man that came to do the quote, the reviews were good and their quote was within my budget. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
They trimmed seven trees and cleared branches out of power lines, away from the roof and made all of the trees so a person can walk or ride a mower under them.

I had a great experience with Austin Tree Specialists. It was easy to schedule an appointment to have an arborist come out to see my property. Marshall was great. He give me advice and made recommendations, and he came back on the day of the work to go over everything with the crew. The crew was efficient, and cleared all the branches and dead wood. They walked around with me when they were done, and they took care of the things they missed. Absolutely recommend.

We were totally satisfied with the work that the Joshua Tree people did for us yesterday and, as a result, would highly recommend them.

Excellent work and communication. Very transparent cost estimate, which was greatly appreciated to help adjust for budget.
