Great job, guys! I had Brian, Cargil, and Nico trim up two Red Oaks and one Chinquapin oak in my yard and they look amazing. Not only were the guys super friendly, they worked fast and left my yard nice and clean. One of my trees looked like it was dying and they literally brought it back to life. Great pricing, too!
The scheduling and admin stuff was a bit shacky, but I believe they have a very small staff.

Had a really good experience with Capital Tree Care. We had them out to trim several Oaks that had been neglected and remove volunteers in our back yard. Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful, from getting the estimate, the proposal to which we made several changes/clarifications, to the crew (Cargil, Brian and another nice guy) on the day of service. Even during the service when I asked for a few specific minor changes, they were very receptive and did their best to take into account the health of the tree and my wishes which I really appreciated. We’ve had compliments on the job they did by our neighbors. Will definitely call them next time we need tree trimming.

Very professional service. Arborist listened to what we were trying to accomplish and gave me a few quotes for what I wanted done as well as work I’d need to have done in the future. Gave great feedback on some of our trees for future care as well. Brian Garcia, Cargil Wright, and Nico Lane came out and did the trimming to the exact specifications laid out on the initial visit. They made sure I was satisfied with their work during and after and did a good job cleaning up when they were done. Highly recommend Capitol Tree Care and will be using them for the rest of my trees next year.

Cargil and Brian did an awesome job on our tree. They explained their vision for the tree and let me know when they decided to make some major cuts to a few places and explained their reasoning. They both seem to really care about the health of the trees they are working on as opposed to just making it look trimmed. Looking forward to using them every time this tree needs some love.

In March 2025, I had a large oak tree removed by Capitol Tree Care. This was a technically challenging, and potentially dangerous job - with long weakened limbs extending over the house and fence. The crew of Brian, Cargil, and Nico did a great job! They were on time, easy to work with and delivered the job that was promised. It wasn't cheap. But considering the risk, it was worth going with a company that could comfortably and safely handle a difficult job.

Brian Garcia, Leo G., and Zack H. from Capitol Tree Care did a great job at our house the other week. We were due for a clean out on our lot already, and after the May storm there was a good bit of mess to clean up. The crew did a thorough job with trimming and cleaned up after themselves very well. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

I've been meaning to write a review and just remembered. These guys came out last month and I met Cargil (I'm pretty sure i still can't say his name correctly). He explained everything very clearly, felt honest, and seemed like he cared.

Their team came out a few days later to trim my trees, which were in pretty bad shape. The team was quick and the trees look great. They cleaned up after themselves like they were never here which i appreciate. Now i walk around my neighborhood judging other, untrimmed, trees.

Brian, Zach and Caleb came today to trim our many trees. They were excellent, efficient, friendly, fast and cleaned up all afterwards. A great team!

Capitol Tree Care did a great job for us at a fair price. We had a 64 year old pecan fall in a storm, and James talked through the removal process with us, and helped figure out what and when to plant to get our shade back. Warren did a great job grinding the HUGE 64 year-old stump not to mention the other four tree stumps we had. The ground was smooth, but he nevertheless showed us where to be mindful when walking around in the yard. Thanks guys!

Capitol Tree Care is an outstanding company. We have used their services on a number of occasions and are always happy. Today Brian Garcia, Zach H and Warren Ponder did a fantastic job with pruning our live oaks and fruit trees. The team are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company.

First, scanned the previous reviews....makes sense (5stars)...although the 1star review? Seeeems highly questionable, and doesn't mention anyone on their team (wouldn't trust that review).

Regardless, James and his company are unreal - the true epitome of being experts in their field. I called randomly when I saw the vehicle on the road, because other people I tried to speak with, were just not responsive and unreliable. A quote for $1300 for 2 trees to be pruned/trimmed was wild...so I needed to compare. Very high value for the pricing, and quotes will vary depending on your work.

Just call them - no need to look anywhere else, but keep reading for more detail.

Honest company, an unbelievable amount of knowledge on trees, recommended I do certain things, not to do other things now & also when a better time to do them would be (due to the seasons and temps in the environment), and the workers were great / worked safe / and did an amazing job.

You really don't know what great work is until it's complete and you experience something like this type of service. Some pictures here for proof.

Will not be choosing anyone else again, and will absolutely use them again in the future for other projects and maintenance upkeep.

Capitol Tree Care did a fantastic job trimming a large branch that was hanging dangerously low after the most recent storm. They were able to squeeze us in to their schedule earlier than initially quoted when I expressed concerns about the tree falling on a truck or passerby. Emily in the front office was incredibly friendly and patient with my multiple phone calls. Brian, Leo, and Leon arrived on time, worked efficiently and thoroughly, and made sure the space was completely cleaned up when they were done. I highly recommend Capitol Tree Care for anyone needing professional and reliable tree services!

Very good experience with Capitol Tree Care today. Brian G and Zack H removed three crepe myrtles, trimmed another three crepe myrtles,, and took an artistic (I’d say) approach to pruning a live oak that had lots of dead wood and crossed branches, etc. They also took care of Hackberry branches overhanding our roof. And then the clean up — so tidy! Warren followed on the next day with an excellent and clean stump grinding. Efficient but not rushed, the whole process was stress-free. Highly recommend.

The crew that Capitol Tree Care sent out (Brian Garcia and Zack H.) were top notch. They answered all my questions which helped me understand the process better. They were very professional and worked diligently to get the job done. And, my trees look great!!

The crew from Capitol Tree Care (Brian Zach Caleb) did an outstanding job pruning 9 cedar elms (all tall) and removing 2 trees. The trees look very clean with limbs well away from the house. They communicated all of their activities and discussed possible issues with a tree removal. Will definitely use in the future.

Warren did an outstanding job! He was very thorough pulling back grass and applying organic compost and hardwood mulch for my trees. He also explained in detail what I should do to maintain the results.

Brian, Cargil and Nico did an excellent job with the pruning and cleanup of 3 live oaks (15'-25') at our house! The crew worked safely, expediently and cleaned up the debris very well.
