Once again a great experience with Good Guys Tree Service. After a call, Jose showed up on time and after an informative conversation provided a very fair estimate that addressed every one of my concerns about my trees. His team showed up the next day on time and did everything promised. They were very respectful of my time and property and did a great job, even touching up a few small things that we saw on final inspection. Will definitely continue to call then for any tree needs in the future.

I received several quotes from other vendors but Sean Hager sold the deal with his knowledge and expertise. Upon arrival, a crew of “Good Guys” swarmed the property and started to trim/prune our trees with speed and accuracy. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to complete the job including the cleanup. A week prior, our neighbor had a different vendor at his property most of the day. If you’re looking for reasonably priced, efficient, and effective company call the Good Guys.

We were faced with the possibility of having to cut down 1-2 large, healthy oak trees close to our house to comply with a recent homeowner's insurance inspection. Sean Hager from Good Guys Tree Service was able to formulate an approach that both satisfied the insurance and saved our trees! I highly recommend Good Guys and particularly Sean due to his expertise and professional problem-solving skills.

I called to get a quote on trimming one tree. James came to give me the quote, and as he walked the property with me, he noticed signs of disease on 3 large oaks near my home. He was thorough in his evaluation and prompt in helping me make a plan. His patience and help were top notch. The tree climbers and cutters were amazing to watch! I was thankful for their skill and precision, given that the trees were near our home and fence. What a great team and solid company!

James came out promptly within just a few hours of me submitting the request. We walked through the backyard together and thoroughly discussed the trees and what I was hoping to accomplish. It was immediately clear that he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to trees.

What I appreciated most was that the conversation never felt like he was simply trying to sell additional work. Instead, he focused on making thoughtful recommendations based on what I was trying to achieve, which was opening up certain areas to allow more light in so the grass can grow better.

On the day of service, he called ahead before arriving and showed up exactly when he said he would. Everything he recommended during the initial visit was carried out exactly as discussed. Communication throughout the entire process—from booking, to scheduling, to the actual service—was excellent.

I also had a small bundle of additional trimming that he took care of for me. It’s the small things like that that really stand out.

Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be using their service again and I would highly recommend them.

We had a bad experience with someone else who came to trim our trees, but Good Guys Tree Service fixed it up quickly! I called on Monday and they came for a consultation same-day. James took his time to understand what we were looking for and explained what they'd do in detail. They completed the job on Thursday and our trees look great! We'll definitely have them back in the winter to make sure our trees stay happy :)

This is the third year I have used Good Guys Tree Service and they just keep getting better. Thank you Sean for your expertise and judgement to decide which trees should be removed or trimmed. This year my neighbor join me in having work done and she was so happy as well. The crew was great, quick and cleaned up everything. I still love to watch them work there magic every time . I had an incredible experience working with Good Guys Tree Service, and appreciate their dedication to keeping the trees in Austin beautiful and healthy. I had quite a few jobs needing urgent care including trimming back a very large front lawn tree branches (particularly away from the roof of the house and lifting up from front lawn), nutrient administration for my struggling Magnolia tree and Cherry blossom tree. I also requested their services to assist with a second property for the front lawn tree trim up low hanging overgrowth branches and again cutting back branches hanging over and touching roof of the property. My arborist, Jose Meza, was knowledgeable of different tree types and their specific needs, and I was grateful to entrust their care to his capable hands! My photos show the trees in different seasons for before and after, because it was explained that pruning is dependant on seasons trees are ready to be trimmed to minimize their harm. Magnolia tree and Cherry blossom are shown much fuller after after photos. The large tree in front is also full and happy. Included photos from second property with white truck in front. Sean communicated effectively, and walked our entire property with us giving incredible education and insights and addressed our concerns appropriately.

Once we established a gameplan, we were put on the schedule immediately, and an incredible crew arrived the next morning to tackle the job timely, safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Our tree trimming & brush clearing experience with the Good Guys way exceeded our expectations. Sean Hager and his team are awesome! Sean gave us great advice on what to do & not to do with our landscape situation. He provided a very thorough and fair estimate and clearly explained exactly what they planned to do. Execution was top notch and the team finished in a few hours what we thought would take all day. We couldn't have imagined the improvement on our landscaping after they finished. Good Guys Tree Service did an excellent job on my tree maintenance/ removal scope. Started with a thorough & detailed estimate. Thanks to Chassidy Rana for that support. The crew did a great job with my crepe Myrtle tree removal, trimming & hazard pruning of dead branches, etc. The crew were very professional, respectful & quick!

Where do I begin? I am so impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail and the skill of the entire Good Guys Tree Service operation. I had requested estimates from the top 3 rated tree services and Evan, by far, took the most care, gathered photos, checked a few things with the home office to ensure we weren’t taking too much of the canopy of our largest and only front yard Live Oak and prepared a detailed written estimate of the project. Included with the estimate was their insurance certificate. In fact, theirs was the only estimate that was professionally prepared and the only company that provided their insurance info. Their estimate was not the lowest, but we have a sizable investment in our yard, including pool equipment under our largest backyard Live Oak, so we went with Good Guys to protect our investment. Their crew did not disappoint! Evan arrived with the crew to ensure all the details were clearly communicated. The crew did an amazing job, cleaned up our property with great care and their crew leader, Alex , walked the property with me to ensure everything was as I expected. They used clean tools, sealed the cuts on our Live Oaks, and did a terrific job raising the canopies, providing roof clearance and removing dead wood from prior freeze damage all while protecting my roof, pool, pool equipment and pergola from any damage. They left my yard even tidier than they found it, which I very much appreciate. If I could give more stars, I would. We will choose Good Guys for all our future arbor work. You should too.

I have worked with Jerry for an about a year now and he has been fantastic! He has helped get 4 trees in our backyard back to full health and they are growing like crazy! In our front yard he has really been helpful in giving us advice for 2 young trees and what is needed to help them grow. Jerry is the kind of guy that will stop by anytime to talk through any issues or worries you may have and ensure your hard work in the yard pays off! We are vey happy customers!

We had a large red oak terrorizing our back yard and pool.

Jerry came and gave us a very competitive estimate.

They were very nice and scheduled the work for time that was convenient for us.

Yesterday a large group of guys arrived and took down our large tree in a matter of 2-3 hours.

They were super kind to cut and leave an organized pile of fire wood for us.

If I could I would leave them a 10 star review.

We have a half acre of land with a significant amount of untended forest. Sid Mourning came out to our property within a week of calling and we were just astounded by the amount of work they were able to accomplish. The workers were incredibly professional and considerate of our property. We just had a new deck built that had four or five large dead trees right next to it. Not only did they take care in bringing the trees down around the deck with no damage to it or our fence, they also took the time to blow the deck off and clean it up. They were friendly, polite and worked incredibly hard. The work was such a good value that we will be having them out for a second day of work - this is some of the best money we have spent on our property in the 4 years we've owned the home.

I'm very happy with the service I received from Sid Mourning Tree Service! Easy to schedule an estimate--Mike came out and took a look. Gave me a bid on the spot. Within a few days, it was scheduled. The trimming crew was very polite and efficient, and my trees look great! They definitely know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend Sid Mourning Tree Service!

I worked with two companies to get quotes for tree pruning and removal of a dead tree in our yard. The first company (Davey) was unresponsive and took over a week to get back to me with the quote. Sid Mourning told me on the spot.

And with that, Sid Mourning was HALF the price. Literally half the price. Their pricing structure is much more reasonable considering they don't charge you per tree they have to trim like Davey does.

I highly recommend going with Sid Mourning for their customer service, price and quality of work. They did a great job! Would highly recommend!

I am very impressed with the professionalism of this tree service company, especially in comparison with others. Mike, a certified arborist assessed the work that I wanted done, and immediately gave me a reasonable estimate that was followed up by a specific contract and a copy of their insurance certificate. I obtained a work date for only five days after the initial assessment. A crew of four, led by Daniel, showed up on time, worked diligently and cleaned up nicely. I was able to pay via credit card, with the cooperation of the pleasant office staff.

I cannot say enough about the service we received with our tree trimming! The estimate was very thorough. I appreciated that an arborist came to do the estimate, listened to all of our questions and was able to answer them and explain what needed to be done and not done with our tree trimming. I received a reminder call the day before and a copy of the invoice of the amount that was quoted, back in July! A trailer was delivered to our home the night before the job for all the limb debris to be hauled away. Joaquin and his crew arrived on the day of the job right on time! It took a day and a 1/2 to take care of all of our trees that have not been trimmed in years! They worked extremely hard, I mean extremely hard! They were all very polite and very considerate of our property when working at our home all day. I asked Joaquin about what time they would probably be done on the 2nd day of the job and he mentioned about 11am. Well, even with a few additional branches I had wanted done he and his crew had completed the job and were driving off at 11am!!! I am so impressed with how great my trees look. I highly recommend this company and Joaquin and his crew! I cannot stop staring up at my beautiful trees!!! Thank you!
