I have used Austin Professional Cleaning Services at multiple properties for the last few years. They do an amazing job and have high expectations from their cleaners. They communicate any changes and frequently check in. I have recommended them to all of my peers and I know a number of our sister properties have changed over to them as well. Highly recommend using their services.

You get what you pay for and with these folks, you don't get much. They are very unprofessional, are not respectful of your living space and your personal property/belongings/items, don't clean well at all, and overlook and miss things all the time. Then when you ask them to rectify and correct it, all you get is excuses, a trail of unnecessary and very 'blamey' emails or comments, and they always try to push the 'blame' back on you, the customer. - - At first though, the lady (Yadira) may say she will come and take a look at the problem, and will make a scheduled appointment with you to do this, but then she or someone will just show up anytime- and NOT at the scheduled time or even the scheduled day she made the appointment for! - BAD!! - - If a cleaning company continually does not do what they are supposed to do and constantly overlook things, then things are NOT good!! Do yourself a favor, and pay a bit more and look elsewhere for a better cleaning company! - Very bad and unprofessional!

I hired Maria to do a deep cleaning before my renters moved in. I was explicit that it was a moving clean and not a traditional cleaning like she had done in the past. She agreed she could come wed before my renters moved in. The day before and the morning of I tried to contact her with no response. Finally she responded and said she was coming at 1:00. Then she texted at 1:33 to say she was running late at another home and would be there at 3. Then at 3:47 I texted to ask her progress and she said she was 15 mins away. She didn’t end up arriving until after 5. When she arrived she notified me that it would be $450 for two people for 4-5 hours. I reluctantly agreed but didn’t have a choice since my renters were moving in the next day. I gave her instructions on what needed to be done and left her to do the work. She texted 3 hours later and said the work was done and charged me $487 when she did not spend 4-5 hours at my house. The next day my renters arrived and sent pictures of the house. There was a roach which I had seen the day before in the bathroom still on the floor next to a cap and hair. There were hand marks on the windows on the inside and the drawers had not been cleaned among other stuff. All of which I had directed her to clean. When I called to complain she denied not doing the work I paid for and did not offer any refund. Victor called to talk to me and he defended her and told me lies that I gave proof to the contrary and told me “this is Austin” as if I should be ok with paying way more for less quality. Btw I have lived in Austin for 14 years and don’t agree with his statement. Again no offer of refund. I do not recommend ever using their services.

This is our first experience with Merry Maids and everything went very well, from the initial contact, to the estimate meeting at the apartment, to the deep cleaning. Our son wrote to us: "They came in a whirlwind and I don't think I've ever lived in a cleaner space. Wow." The cleaning service will be returning every other week and we are looking forward to remaining Merry Maids customers. We are so pleased.

Ladies came in and got right to work! They did an amazing job cleaning top to bottom in our two story home. I definitely recommend their services!

Hortencia did a great job, but this house is too large for one person to clean in a reasonable amount of time! Please assign at least 2 maids for a cleaning! Again, the lady you sent did an extraordinary job.

I am so pleased with the work these ladies performed in our home. They arrived early and after a brief introduction (our first cleaning service as you can tell, lol) the ladies went right to work. It was like they knew the house and exactly what our home needed. They spent about 2 hours doing there thing and my wife and I were very impressed. Thank you Merry Maids and ladies for your service.

To be honest, we had a terrible experience with the first crew that came out. They were meant to do a deep clean and only spent 1.5 hours in our 3000 sq. Ft. home. I’m not really sure what they did. However, Merry Maids handled it very professionally and sent a new crew out immediately. This crew was AMAZING! Lynn and Sandy. I will request them going forward!

This cleaning company is fantastic! My mother hired this cleaning company for my wife and I as a move in clean. They did an excellent job making my home spotless. The team was professional and punctual. I highly recommend them!

They were referred to me by my realtor. I was very impressed with their work from top to bottom. The managers of this branch both made unsolicited personal trips to my home on a Saturday. They wanted to ensure the work was done to my satisfaction. Also, what they quoted, is what they charged. I personally felt they did more than a typical job for a house with my specifications. I voluntarily paid extra because they absolutely deserved it. Definitely will hire them again.

The ladies are very sweet and always pay attention to detail. I've been using merry maids for over a year now and I really appreciate them.

The crew showed up on time, the customer service from the staff on the phone was great. I had another crew scheduled but they canceled on me last minute. I called Merry Maids and they were able to get me on the schedule right away. I then had to reschedule them to come out the following day because the water had already been turned off on the property. This was for a move-out cleaning. I will definitely call this company again and recommend them.

First off I just want to say how grateful I am for Merry Maids for coming to clean our home. Sometimes life gets crazy and sometimes you don’t have the energy to clean your own home. My home was definitely in need of a deep clean and some much needed TLC and that is exactly what the ladies that came to clean were able to do. They made sure our home was super clean from top to bottom. The service the ladies provided was top notch. Thank you merry maids ! I will be reaching out for more cleanings in the future :)

We have a house that began small, built in 1865 and NOT one of the pretty mansions here in Taylor, Texas, but a one story with many rambling add ons, hard wood floors. The job done today just astonished we two old people who are very messy, but now are motivated to stay clean! Thanks so much to MerryMaids!

Thanks to the ladies that helped me today. You all did an amazing job! I had surprise guests coming in for the weekend and had a one time cleaning because I could not get it all done by myself. If you book with Merrymaids please don’t forget to tip them they split their tips, just wanted to put that out there, don’t forget to tip big people that help you.

I’ve been a customer for years and remain incredibly pleased with my decision. It’s so nice to come home to a clean house and know that’s one less thing to worry about. Customer service (the few times I’ve needed them) is prompt and professional. We feel lucky to have Hope and Amber as our regular cleaning team. They are friendly, polite, and do a fantastic job. Even our dogs love them! Highly recommend!

We had agreed to the 10 cleaning services to avoid the initial cleaning fee but would rather pay the fee than have several more sub-standard cleaning services.

We were initially impressed with the first home cleaning but their standard quickly dropped after that instance. Their subsequent cleanings were of the same duration but diminished quality. We then needed a move out cleaning done but ended up cleaning up after the cleaners! The home was empty and the sinks/tubs were still clean from the prior weeks cleaning. Baseboards were filthy, fans dusty, blinds dusty, corners had cobwebs…. Upon inquiring we were told it was a 2 hour cleaning service. I could have cleaned it single handedly in under 2 hours. Sadly, they could not come back to finish the job since we had already relinquished access to the home. We were reimbursed a portion of the cleaning because they initially forgot to do the stove and refrigerator.

We also had issue with the cleaners throwing out items that were not trash during regular cleanings. It was also difficult to communicate with the cleaners since my Spanish, and their English were poor. If residents will be home during the cleaning, the cleaners should be able to communicate effectively. In my case, basic English would have sufficed.

I would not recommend this company.
