They took advantage of my mother, not knowing anything about HVAC and they ended up installing their own UV Machine Even though she already has one. The machine they put in looks very tiny, they sealed it with DUCT TAPE. It was poorly fitted and they even drilled a tiny hole without filling it once the job was done. I guess they did this so you could see that the lightbulb is on, but the hole is leaking out air from the air conditioning. And they charge $400 for their machine, even though it looks like it came out of a box from Dollar tree Compared to our other air purifier it’s mounted on the wall and it’s connected to an in unit system in our AC. I looked up the model of their UV Light only cost $99 yet they charge us $400 for “installation” Their installation being cutting a hole and just duct with some screws, taping it and having the electrical wire leave out to the unit and plugged into the wall in the hallway. I looked up the reviews and other sources, mainly on Yelp and tons of negative reviews It’s more than likely that they buy their five star reviews in order to increase their public perception.

Had a basic duct cleaning from them (Their Chicago area operation) and I honestly feel like they stole money from me. Their machine was not well maintained and sprayed a fine later of dust/sand in the area it was operating...essentially like a 20 year old vacuum cleaner. I did see the filter inside, it looked like it was never changed. Basic service is totally useless and is just an excuse for them to look around your house to find other projects they can bill you for. This is the worst money I have ever spent on anything EVER. My house is less clean after their visit than before it, but my wallet is much lighter. Avoid at all costs. The technician they dispatched was a polite young man and did no wrong, so I hope the company takes this criticism as a judgement of their service and not a judgement of his service, which was just fine.

This company is not trustworthy and should be avoided. I hired them for a chimney sweep and inspection. The technician looked at my fireplace for a couple of minutes, stuck a brush up my chimney for about 10 seconds, and said, "everything looks good." He didn't even bother cleaning up the mess he made. I didn't know what I just paid him for so I called the office to complain. He clearly cut corners and did not even come close to providing a full inspection/sweep. They offered to come out and do the job correctly. When they did come out again they told me they had no records of my original appointment and were trying to collect payment again.

What is alarming is that serious safety issues were pointed out by the second technician. The clear disregard for my family's safety by cutting corners and not doing the job correctly was appalling. I will never be using this company again.
